The FL Christmas video - WTF? It's so bad it's embarrassing, even at their level!

They should have strong words with their advertising section/company. 'Mummy' looks tired and depressed, while 'Daddy' looks anxious. I'm not sure that that was quite the message the video was supposed to leave?

I didn't understand it at all. Was the mother who worked very hard/didn't see her kid much supposed to be someone who'd benefit from a 'residual' income stream etc....

I've just watched that FL Christmas advert. Is there supposed to be some sort of message? Or is it just a collection of images and positive phrases?

That video is full of subliminal brainwashing messages aimed at bots. It's definitely not a marketing tool, but whoever came up with it could be described in such terms. 😉

Think about it: the gingerbread house is a reminder of what happens to unsupervised children when they wander off into dark forests when mummy and daddy are at work. Deep in the aloe forest, all alone, the innocent child stumbles across a gingerbread house and ends up cooking a witch who threatens to eat her. She pushes the witch into an oven, but pulls her out when she realises the witch is her mother. (It's easy to forget what your mother looks like when she works 9 to 5, five days a week.) The witch survives and cures her third degree burns using aloe juice which the wicked wizard extracts straight from the plant.

The mother rings her own doorbell because she can't remember where she lives (that's what having a job does to your brain cells) and doesn't want to embarrass herself by inviting herself to the wrong sizzle.

I'm back too. After a product pre-launch-launch at work, (don't ask, but let's just say programmers are a bloody nightmare to deal with), a trip home to the U.K., and dealing with family issues I can now rejoin the threads. Sorry to be AWOL.

I have been blocked on Facebook by every single bot - I do have a pseudonym account from a time I was taking a break but still wanted to use messenger. TBH I can't be arsed though as it's all same shit different day. They are all crooks, some LTW more obviously than others.
