I've just been reading a very interesting article here which came about as a result of the John Oliver expose (viewed 6 million times on youtube!). Hmm interesting claims. Unfortunately (or fortunately) the body's pH is very tightly controlled and maintained....as a deviation from the normal pH can cause quite severe symptoms....including death. It's a common tactic to use pH strips in urine to show if your body is acidic or alkaline. Which is to be frank a load of pish. All it demonstrates is that you're peeing out the right stuff to keep your blood at the right pH (around 7.4).

The whole acidity thing annoys me greatly. Your blood has to be 7.35-7.45 and if it goes over or under that you get really ill. Your kidneys and your breathing regulate it. Nothing you eat or drink will affect it. Unless you drink something that makes you really ill and that makes your pH go awry.

Exactly TooBusy. Funnily enough the body is very good at keeping the ph the right level. If it isn't you have a huge amount to worry about.

Well perhaps that's the whole point, the drink makes your stomach acid a bit more neutral therefore you don't break down your food properly thus not absorbing the sugars, fats and nutrients, hey presto weight loss and rickets.

If you need coffee to adjust your pH levels you might as well just roll over and die.

Indeed it does BS. Along with staying up late doing 'training', being isolated from friends and having things constantly repeated. I expect desperation and trusting the 'recruiter' will also play a part.

The brainwashing must be even more effective if the recruiter was a friend to begin with. It's disturbing stuff.

I thought drinking tea prevented absorption of nutrients, that's why you shouldn't drink tea with a meal.

They are claiming that these teas support your immune system.

But I don't really care because they are not asking me to sell them and recruit others 😀
