Sorry for the errant apostrophe- my autocorrect hates me

cozietoesie · 24/08/2016 16:22

Double plus interesting. Thanks. Smile

cozietoesie · 24/08/2016 16:23

I suspect all the autocorrects of having a secret club where they go to concoct irritants/mayhem. Grin

Toobusytowee · 24/08/2016 16:47

You can have a personal one and a business one. They work in different ways. They are supposed to do all their business things on the business one.

You are supposed to be able to report bots for using their personal account for business. Some people do loads of their MLM work on their personal accounts and I have reported some but FB have ruled they were ok. Yet I hear of others having their accounts suspended.

cozietoesie · 24/08/2016 17:00

Thanks, Toobusy.

xenu1 · 25/08/2016 10:18

spongebob wise to skip the 2hrs softening up! :) (Check the YT comments too, some are mine!)
It is a great example though of an excellent conman on top form. These people are mega-convincing - and of course many of them probably convince themselves too. How else could the founders live with themselves?

The latest Mini Sizzle from UNO (United Nations Of Opportunity).

Just worried where they are thinking of putting those fingers!

CamelsAndMaus · 25/08/2016 17:14

I dread to think also.

And apologies the acronym is "Unlimited Network of Opportunities". It targets the Filipino community here and they are encouraged to spread it to other countries (Filipino workers are in hundreds of countries) and many of them here earn around the equivalent of 100 pounds a month, and then less in other countries and even less back home.

They also leverage the strong catholic religion within the community. But there must be some local behind the scenes support (and money) as some of them have working visas here based on this company (my acquired bot is actually one of these "generals" which I find a dubious title in the first place) and I was told that there would be no issue getting me and my children a visa if I were to join up.

I would be very interested if anyone could track down a link back to the USA though as there seems to be a one.

cozietoesie · 26/08/2016 13:11

Virtually nothing is private on the net, however much you may try. People and 'subsidiary companies' might prove interesting to you.

Seenthelight21 · 26/08/2016 14:13

Another great example of such a flexible business with the opportunity company/arrix

Straight from one of the leaders!!!!!
Cause we all want this sort of flexibility right!????

What an event last night in Essex. I didn't get home until 230am but I loved the 4 hour journey home as I stuck a new audio in the car and took the opportunity to sharpen the axe.

I didn't get to bed past 3am but sprung out of bed energised at 8am and ready to attack the day.

Being in that room and looking at the leaders that had assembled and kind of just nodded to myself....everything that happened is EXACTLY what is supposed to happen and led us to this very point.

#theopportunitycompany

Errrrr no thanks!

cozietoesie · 26/08/2016 14:37

4 hours? Strewth.

Spongebobette · 26/08/2016 14:39

Sounds hellish to me

Just noticed that there's a September C9 challenge coming up, or as I call it 'need to flog as much gloop as possible to make my CCs' challenge

xenu1 · 26/08/2016 15:26

Its too hot to sit out in the garden! So random posting; Amway tapes are on ebay 2ndhand for pennies (dont buy as US postage of course) www.ebay.co.uk/itm/60-Amway-Quixtar-WWDB-tapes-Timko-Faught-Harstad-Koning-Yuen-/252507406931?hash=item3aca9d4253:g:zbAAAOSw65FXuQeg
But just some examples. each one cost a distributor $6 each (so the above would have cost $360) and they cost < ,50c to make. You were/are expected to purchase 2 per week and listen to one per day. They all push the cult message, most are recordings from seminars ("pigs dont know pigs stink" upthread) Amway tried to stop distributors reselling tapes cheap 2ndhand but failed

keeptheaspidistra · 26/08/2016 16:08

seen you've gotta admire how bots always present crappy things as positives. Just when you think they'd run out of ways to roll a turd in glitter there's always something new.
I love George Orwell (hence the username) and Forever Living et al are pretty damn close to a real life 1984.

cozietoesie · 26/08/2016 16:16

I always thought that MLMs demonstrated greater closeness to 1984 than to Animal Farm, I have to say.Wink

keeptheaspidistra · 26/08/2016 18:18

The FL > Arrix "look how happy I am with FL. Join me. I was so sad with FL. Look how happy I am with Arrix. Join me" debacle reminds me of Winston having to rewrite newspaper articles to make history look like it always reflects present party policy.
Yeah, I'm sad.... Sad

ForeverYazoonique · 26/08/2016 21:13

I have to tell my sons about the boy who cried wolf. If you lie too many times people will stop believing you, if they ever believed you in the first place

Spongebobette · 26/08/2016 21:28

Yeah right

ForeverYazoonique · 26/08/2016 22:13

oh yes LTW and their improvements - another one who keeps churning out the same crap and expects people to believe it!

Spongebobette · 26/08/2016 22:32

Love love love 'Nightmare on MLM Street'!!!!!

BethanyBarleywater · 27/08/2016 07:21

How is anyone still taken in by LTW? A bot I follow even says why not try and sell some of the stuff in your 'hamper' to make some money back. But remember it's NOT a food shop. Mmm, what's for tea? A packet of polos, a cheap knife block and 4 pints of Yazoo.

keeptheaspidistra · 27/08/2016 10:54

How on earth are people getting £10k monthly bonuses from LTW?
HOW?!?

ForeverYazoonique · 27/08/2016 11:04

Aspidistra the people getting those bonuses appear to have a history with the people actually owning and managing it #justsayin

You might want to call them frauds shills

YouOKHun · 27/08/2016 11:52

The Bot I watch has announced this morning that she is jumping ship from Younique to Maelle. She took the time to assure us that though Younique had been super-lucrative for her, she felt that Maelle offered a more sophisticated option around the same price point (a bit more expensive than high end brand such as Chanel, YSL etc). And she wants to be in at the beginning of the pyramid (she didn't mention the P word, that's my interpretation). She's getting prices through but she hasn't actually seen the product! Anyway, though Younique has been 'an amazing opportunity' and super-lucrative she is now flogging an enormous amount to Younique stock. Frying pan and fïrës.
