Wording seems identical to LTW

There's been a degree of changing names over the past little while - if you keep watching. The concept is the same, sadly.

Moomoomonkey · 18/06/2016 09:58

So it just LTW with a new name? So the people who are leaving them to join this new one have paid in twice?! I really don't understand how people fall for these.

smiinky · 18/06/2016 10:04

I wonder who set that one up

acatcalledjohn · 18/06/2016 10:05

I get that it's gone, Cozie, but just interesting to know which MLM was whipped out on a thread about fabric shops.

This LTW Clone doesn't appear to have a website, cannot find it on companies house using the name, or the directors of LTW.

cozietoesie · 18/06/2016 10:08

If it walks like a duck etc etc etc.

Moomoomonkey · 18/06/2016 10:15

It's still pre-launch apparently! Maybe that's why there's no website/company registered

cozietoesie · 18/06/2016 10:22

No 2 won't be so easy. And as for No's 3-etc? Sad

SocksRock · 18/06/2016 10:24

It was jeunesse

acatcalledjohn · 18/06/2016 10:35

Jeunesse?

Because skincare and fabric go hand it hand, obviously. Hmm

acatcalledjohn · 18/06/2016 10:41

If it's pre-launch you'd expect significant work to have been put in though, and the company to at least be registered.

Mind you, if it's run by the same people as LTW then I'd expect it to smell as fishy as it would at the close of a fish market on a hot day.

I wonder what QNT stands for? Quality Network Training?

Questionable Networking Tactics more like.

Seenthelight21 · 18/06/2016 10:53

I only know a little bit about this LTW QNT malarkey!
From what I understand some people in LTW got fed up of a few of the LTW teething problems & decided to set up this qnt which us going to be the same as LTW

Co founders of QNT decided to move and reregister under other people's names in LTW and got found out and have since said they resigned but have in fact been terminated.

Now they are on a rampage to destroy the LTW name and get their new QNT mlm of the ground! It's quite embarrassing really wouldn't touch either with a barge pole!!!!
Got a few acquaintances that do it so will find out more info & share

Seenthelight21 · 18/06/2016 10:54

It's not run by LTW it's literally a Facebook group set up by everyday people who think they are ready to start up their on mlm business! Totally stupid lol

Tokelau · 18/06/2016 11:11

Jeunesse, that someone mentioned above, reminds me of a friend of a friend on Facebook. I don't know this person, but they are related to someone I know. I only see their posts when my friend comments on them.

This person used to do teeth whitening, but has no qualifications, it was some sort of franchise thing. Then that stopped suddenly, and they were pushing jeunesse, using their relatives for photos of before and after.

They then said that they had a new product coming out, Zen bodi, and they showed a photo of someone who had used it and lost three stone in five weeks! This was quite a while ago, and it was when I started reading about MLMs on MN. I realised that it was an MLM, and this person was saying boss babe all the time, which I had not seen before.

All of a sudden, all these posts were deleted from their Facebook page, and this person was going to train to be an airline pilot. Nothing seems to have happened there. Their page is full of fake it until you make it - there are posts of new luxury cars, and then friends commenting that it's not actually their car. Photos of lovely hotels, and then comments from others asking what the hotel was like, and this person says that they didn't actually stay there.

Now, they are starting Maëlle. Hmm

I feel sorry for this person, moving from one useless scheme to another, but thinking that they are hugely successful.

Delurker2016 · 18/06/2016 11:29

My understanding was that QNT was just a training scheme for Network Marketers, I know the person who is doing it.
They hadn't been paid their bonuses from LTW so were setting up a free programme for MLMers with the view to make it a paid service.

cozietoesie · 18/06/2016 11:35

Most everyone on these threads knew that it was just a question of 'when' with 'free groceries plus' schemes. Best not to be distracted and take your eyes off the other, more established, MLMs.

There will be razzmatazz being planned, most likely.

Delurker2016 · 18/06/2016 11:35

I stand corrected. It's shop while you earn.

cozietoesie · 18/06/2016 11:36

(I'm sorry to use that word, Forever. Grin)

smiinky · 18/06/2016 12:57

They'll end up in the same pickle as LTW, because logistical nightmare.

cozietoesie · 18/06/2016 13:24

People sink £££ into MLMs - often funds they don't really have - and prevail upon eg friends and family to do likewise, usually drawing on friendships and years of relationships, or upon social niceties. (They 'don't like' to say No.) They have the potential to ruin lives and families or friendships.

It's a sadness.

SaltySeaBird · 18/06/2016 14:37

I'm new in here (not to mumsnet) and hadn't even heard of MLM but a friend has started doing Jamberry Nails, added me to a group and is really pushing sales hard. Now suddenly another two friends are doing the same.

Any info on Jamberry I can point her in the direction of or is that one okay? It sounds very suspect to me ...

cozietoesie · 18/06/2016 14:59

Welcome, Salty. Smile

You might, usefully, have a look at Timeless Vie and BotWatch. The links are in the OP.

cozietoesie · 18/06/2016 15:03

In fact, if you search on either of those and add in the MLM name, you're likely to get a result to read. Smile

cozietoesie · 18/06/2016 15:06

I see that Timeless Vie's likes are rising steadily.

They'll be at the 1800 soon. Smile

AdultingIsNotWhatIExpected · 18/06/2016 16:08

Hi all, I've been following here and on Facebook, I have only one "problem" with you guys… I feel that this thread should be in relationships section of MN rather than money, because from what Ive seen happening around me, it's peoples relationships, with themselves as well as those around them, that are the number one consequence of getting involved with a MLM. The money, or loss of, is a consequence of the unhealthy "relationship" with uplines and the companies.
