'Business is going crazy this month' 😂😂😂 she hasn't even been doing it for a month.

And claiming it's an apprenticeship is really misleading to young people who might have just finished school and are not aware of MLMs and are just looking for work 😡😡😡

Toobusytowee · 09/07/2016 16:11

Here's a link showing how Herbalife have infiltrated Ghana. www.myjoyonline.com/news/2016/July-5th/herbalife-country-manager-honored.php eyes spotted it.

I wish I wasn't busy on Monday. I would have popped up to Manchester to watch events unfold in the courts.

EauDeParslaii · 09/07/2016 16:19

Some courts do do some form of live updates I remember I've checked before, I'll have to have a search!
Ohhhh dear at the juice plus apprentices :/ that is really terrible and like you say ever so misleading Shock welcome to the thread! X

OSETmum · 09/07/2016 16:47

Thanks EauDeParslaii I have a few bots on my fb but this one is really going for it with the cliches! A few days ago she had was "having an amaaaaazing time at her successful networking lunch." Aka trying to con her friends into joining up no doubt!

ForeverYazoonique · 09/07/2016 17:29

2 weeks a rep? A whole two weeks?! She must have sooooooo much experience and wisdom to pass on Hmm

OSETmum · 09/07/2016 17:54

😂😂😂 yeah I'm sure she's highly qualified to teach new people!

Don't you need to be affiliated to a college to offer apprenticeships? The more I think about it the more it's making me angry because it's blatant lies!

ForeverYazoonique · 09/07/2016 18:00

Maybe she thinks she's Alan Sugar. Or, worse still, Donald Trump. Grin

Honestly the amount of misplaced confidence this gives people is astonishing. Suddenly they're all business mentors/international business owners. Suddenly they feel they possess the knowledge of an MBA.

As they say, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

ForeverYazoonique · 09/07/2016 18:04

Come to think of it, an MBA can give people an exaggerated feeling of their own competence. Bearing that in mind, I am quite astonished to think of the level of exaggeration this 'mentoring' gives.

It wouldn't matter, but they want to pass it on, this 'knowledge'....

BSintolerant · 09/07/2016 18:46

MBAs are money-making rackets: Master of Bugger All. 😉

ForeverYazoonique · 09/07/2016 19:01

Good point, well made. DH looked into it once. An accredited one was so much money it made my eyes pop out.

ForeverYazoonique · 09/07/2016 19:02

Master of Bullshit Acronyms Grin

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 09/07/2016 19:06

I've looked into the company petitioning LTW and as well as wholesale they have 150 retail branches in the UK. There's no way a tinpot outfit like LTW could be quibbling with a company this size over 'quality'...it's smoke and mirrors as usual.

Got to take a bit of an issue with the comments on MBAs; I work in HE and nobody undertakes these things lightly, they are seriously hard work!

ForeverYazoonique · 09/07/2016 19:29

Quite Dickie

Smoke and mirrors.

Like they care about quality!

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 09/07/2016 19:40

I bet they're not the only supplier who are complaining about not being paid; but they are big enough to pay the legal fees to see them in court, unlike many of the others I'd guess.

EauDeParslaii · 09/07/2016 19:44

OSET as far as I'm aware you should be, if she's the employer she should have to have a lot of checks/paperwork and if she's the trainer she should really be delivering a qualification and have the suitable qualifications and experience to do so (at least a teaching qual, perhaps an assessor qual too).
nods to Dickie fellow education worker here ;) x

BleakBetty · 09/07/2016 19:57

I suspect this is the beginning of the end for LTW thank fuck. I sure hope so, their whole corrupt, swindling organisation needs to disintegrate sharpish. I wish I had some top LTW bots on my FB feed so I could chuckle and watch them rage watch with fascination.

The LTW breed of bot is one of the pushiest and most deceitful of all.

BleakBetty · 09/07/2016 19:59

For some reason I feel like Eye's would have some insider knowledge or insight into it?

Also - sorry for the double post - I'm intrigued as to any predictions into the Forever market saturation/collapse thing.

BleakBetty · 09/07/2016 19:59

Eyes not Eye's! Damn phone.

EauDeParslaii · 09/07/2016 20:05

bleak a lot of them have wide open public profiles Wink

AdultingIsNotWhatIExpected · 09/07/2016 20:11

I have friends who run workshops teaching crafty stuff

In order to do so they had to do a basic teaching cert at the local college (not full teacher training, but the life long learning tutor cert, CET I think it's called now, used to be CTLLLS or something)

How come they HAD to do that before running some "for fun" crochet etc classes, but the bots can "train" downlines?

gottaloveascamhun · 09/07/2016 20:50

It's a complete disgrace. Don't want hospi s snobby but those of us who have real qualifications have worked damned hard for them. Fair play to genuine entrepreneurs who climb to the top through graft, personality and know how. The coach thing pisses me off a lot. Sad that people are gullible enough to buy it! One of my acquaintances on th has just become a neals hard consultant. My opinion is that the products are reasonable quality but huge mark up and she is unlikely to make profit...thoughts?

EauDeParslaii · 09/07/2016 21:03

adulting that's it - it used to be CTLLS (certificate in the lifelong learning sector) but now it's the certificate in education and training, which is the one you need to be able to deliver and mark qualifications (Y)
Tell me about it gotta, also you're bang on the money with the markup theory! X

DomesticAnarchist · 09/07/2016 21:43

My Nuskin friend was "promoted" after 2 weeks - which also seemed to be moving on from selling shit (her first orders hadn't even been sent out) to recruiting people.

Thus proving the point, really.

DomesticAnarchist · 09/07/2016 21:50

Oh, and the irony of needing a qualification to teach craft to adults yet the government has removed the need for actual teachers to have actual teacher training.

Sorry, off-topic mini-rant

gottaloveascamhun · 10/07/2016 10:56

Absolutely, domestic. I'm a teacher and it really boils my piss.
