Still going strong here at bot watch HQ on MN!

Previous thread here

Botwatch on Wordpress and on Facebook

Timeless Vie on Wordpress and on Facebook

Eyespeying's Blog aka #manhun, even if he's been banned by MNHQ

Hommetepreneur on Facebook

We have our own regularly returning bots.

Glossary:

Bots: our affectionate name for victims of the MLM racket

MLM: Multi-level Marketing schemes - essentially pyramid schemes that are just legal because you sell a product. Reliant upon constant recruitment despite there not being enough people in the world to go beyond about 12 levels if everyone recruited 6.

Downline/Upline: the people you recruited and those who recruited you (going up and down the pyramid inverted funnel)

Timeless Vie: Parody of MLM schemes (though you might spot one in particular) that also carries out fearless investigative work

Hommetrepreneur: also excellent parody site focussing on the menz

BotWatch: Rather more serious, keeps an eye on what the Bots are claiming next, particularly in reference to health and income claims. Also fearless.

Inverted Funnel: Timeless Vie is NOT a pyramid - it's an inverted Funnel, OK?

Eyes: Our former member Eyespying who knows LOTS about MLM schemes. He's still our very own #manhun.

Can I ask your profession Arbunne? Only since you refer to it.

MrshumbleJeans · 23/05/2016 10:25

Ok, thanks for the clarification Arbunne I understand what you are saying now, however, She has gone ahead and done it anyway, by nature of the blog post, so I guess that horse has bolted!

ForeverYazoonique · 23/05/2016 10:26

I think FLHQ would cheerfully turn their backs on anyone at any time. That's the problem with being a bot - it's the worst of all worlds

MrshumbleJeans · 23/05/2016 10:28

Exactly forever!

noyouarenotalifestylecoach · 23/05/2016 10:30

I would be interested to hear FLHQs thoughts on Natasha's blog post Forever, I don't think it was what they wanted since they posted asking everyone to stay quiet!

ArbunneHun · 23/05/2016 10:33

I work in PR/Comms. I have consumer, reputation management and crisis experience. Natasha definitely needs some solid advice and support as she is putting her own reputation at risk. I really don't care about FLP, but it makes me mad to watch someone defending a 'business'/company and risking her own name in doing so, when I'm pretty certain that company won't back her when her reputation is in tatters.

ForeverYazoonique · 23/05/2016 10:36

Good advice Arbunne

MrshumbleJeans · 23/05/2016 10:39

Agreed arbunne but from what I understand, FLPuk did put out a strong advisory for people not to discuss this matter in an open social media/internet or printed media setting. So if she ignored that (although we dont know yet if they sanctioned it) and went ahead with it, then Imho she took that risk upon herself. Just to clarify, 'IF' she ignored their advice on the matter... We dont know, because she wont answer straight questions.

Of course, she has a right to free speech and I dont agree with FLP silencing people on any level, but if you know that and decided to speak anyway, it cant be a great surprise to recieve no support surely?

She shouldnt have to defend the company anyway, why arent they doing it themselves?

MrshumbleJeans · 23/05/2016 10:40

Obviously, the article didnt include her, so this is all hypothetical, but do you see where I am coming from?

MrshumbleJeans · 23/05/2016 10:48

That blog post though? Bad move...

orangefizzypop75 · 23/05/2016 10:58

I've just searched antonia hoyle on FB - Natasha's blog post is being shared like no ones business by people that, surprise, surprise, are all FL bots. So much for following the company guidelines on not mentioning the DM article. What's hilarious is that they all mention how biaised the DM article is - ermmmmm, excuse me, you're all FL bots sharing a blog post written by your FL "heroine". You can't tell me that's not biaised?!

MrshumbleJeans · 23/05/2016 11:03

Well said orange! Of course we still await an answer on whether love is ALSO an fbo.

orangefizzypop75 · 23/05/2016 11:08

I recall several questions still remaining unanswered by various people mrshumble........

ArbunneHun · 23/05/2016 11:26

The blog post was extremely unwise and certainly not what she would have been advised to do by anyone who had her best interests at heart.

Spongebobette · 23/05/2016 11:34

I agree Arbunne and with all the sharing of her blogpost she is becoming the de facto spokesperson for FL, while the organisation itself and the top bots stay at arm's length.

Spongebobette · 23/05/2016 11:39

Someone on here (sorry can't remember who) lives in the Middle East.
I think this must be a target for expansion as UK top bot is off there today.
More signs that the UK market is saturated and the top bots are seeking fresh meat (another one was in Slovakia last week)

MrshumbleJeans · 23/05/2016 12:13

sponge arbunne no, I cant imagine anyone telling her to GOAD the daily mail!

MrshumbleJeans · 23/05/2016 12:14

Signing autographs no less sponge

🙄🙄🙄

noyouarenotalifestylecoach · 23/05/2016 13:46

I for one am certainly looking forward to the conspiracy blog post. Brew

ForeverYazoonique · 23/05/2016 13:55

Oh yes, did we establish who the thread leader is? Please let it be me. I do, after all, have the Yazoo of Doom in the fridge. AND I shop at Aldi.

Spongebobette · 23/05/2016 14:06

I AM SPARTACUS

ForeverYazoonique · 23/05/2016 14:12

I'm Brian and so is my wife

...the Yazoo of Doom...

That's very negative of you, Forever, given there are still three weeks or so before BBE.

(Have you prepared the straws yet for the DCs to draw lots from? Grin)

DoTheMLMHustle · 23/05/2016 14:55

I agree that the Mail may well have been kind to Natasha in leaving out her interview, with the views that are in that blog being her side, the article is extremely well balanced as a result. If they had printed her truth the article would have hung Forever out to dry completely.

As I said earlier, top bot's and Forever PR people need to start acknowledging and addressing the culture, rather than attacking anyone who speaks out. This is the age of the whistle blower - and when those people are attacked in such an ugly way it raises concerns.
