Still going strong here at bot watch HQ on MN!

Previous thread here

Botwatch on Wordpress and on Facebook

Timeless Vie on Wordpress and on Facebook

Eyespeying's Blog aka #manhun, even if he's been banned by MNHQ

Hommetepreneur on Facebook

We have our own regularly returning bots.

Glossary:

Bots: our affectionate name for victims of the MLM racket

MLM: Multi-level Marketing schemes - essentially pyramid schemes that are just legal because you sell a product. Reliant upon constant recruitment despite there not being enough people in the world to go beyond about 12 levels if everyone recruited 6.

Downline/Upline: the people you recruited and those who recruited you (going up and down the pyramid inverted funnel)

Timeless Vie: Parody of MLM schemes (though you might spot one in particular) that also carries out fearless investigative work

Hommetrepreneur: also excellent parody site focussing on the menz

BotWatch: Rather more serious, keeps an eye on what the Bots are claiming next, particularly in reference to health and income claims. Also fearless.

Inverted Funnel: Timeless Vie is NOT a pyramid - it's an inverted Funnel, OK?

Eyes: Our former member Eyespying who knows LOTS about MLM schemes. He's still our very own #manhun.

truthful they have basically just rekated to soamming the threads now... I suppose we cant blame them, it probably comes naturally to spam about aloe...

MrshumbleJeans · 22/05/2016 21:50

Resulted, spamming, jeez... Chubby fingers! Lol

noyouarenotalifestylecoach · 22/05/2016 21:51

I particularly like the "great unwashed" bit. Bet all her old friends just loved it. I hope it doesn't backfire for her when any journalists read it as they have a far greater audience.

ForeverYazoonique · 22/05/2016 21:51

Yes everyone please do read the blog post (if you can get to the end - it is rather long and tedious)

If this self-indulgent twaddle doesn't put you off forever living, nothing will.

I suspect that one thing the MLMs have just never grasped is the deep sense of inequity felt by so many people, including many current and former adherents, about large salaries made by the few, from the many.

MrshumbleJeans · 22/05/2016 21:51

Agreed BS... How 'not' to represent yourself or a brand! 🙄🙄

ForeverYazoonique · 22/05/2016 21:52

Spam and Aloe - a healthy diet Grin

MrshumbleJeans · 22/05/2016 21:53

Mmmmmmm SPAM and aloe... All my favourites together at last! 😳

ForeverYazoonique · 22/05/2016 21:53

You forgot to mention the humour youvebot

MrshumbleJeans · 22/05/2016 21:54

Thought they didnt do spamming anymore? Its just not pro?

noyouarenotalifestylecoach · 22/05/2016 21:54

Because we like "balance".

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-3598017/Can-really-earn-350-000-year-selling-aloe-vera-thousands-women-join-controversial-home-selling-empire-read-Candice-s-cautionary-tale.html

The article is much easier to read and the comments are HILARIOUS Grin

TruthfulTara88 · 22/05/2016 21:55

Yes Yazoonique I had some trouble getting through it.

It's funny, I started looking at the thread some months ago as I was interested in getting into MLM. The bots attempts to persuade and defend the bizzznizzz have only put me off more. I hope it will put off others too.

This blog will also put people off, so I'm not sure why the bots are banding it about so much like it is evidence that the whole bizzzznizzzz is not a complete joke.

Botfan63 · 22/05/2016 21:55

I'm sure there may be a cream for that with parslaii extract and cheese 😁😁😁😁😁 soothes any irritation

DoTheMLMHustle · 22/05/2016 21:57

I don't think that the blog post reads how you think it does!

You clearly think it's a brilliantly written piece that shows humour. What most people read is a patronising self indulgent piece of narcissism, that attempts to cover the elephant in the room by repeating itself. A whitewash in response to an article in a national newspaper that had the majority of comments agreeing with it. The threads here looked positively tame compared to what was said

A better PR response (as someone who used to work in PR) would be to address the problems. Admit that there are bullying tactics and too much pressure, and that culture changes need to happen.

The public and FBO's who are ready to leave are crying out for it. They want the cheating and bonus buying to stop. They want the bullying to stop

That is what your blog should address Natasha, you'd have a lot more respect from people if you were Neave enough to be the change your FBI's want to see. They earn your money for you after all

BSintolerant · 22/05/2016 21:58

It's not got rid of you!

orangefizzypop75 · 22/05/2016 21:58

The bots can post the link to the blog as many tines as they like but the damage has already been done. As much as I don't care for the DM, it does have a far reaching audience. Any attempt at damage control is futile - 1.2k comments from people that are sick and tired of FL and their pathetic attempts to prove to all and sundry that the business model is morally sound. 1.2k comments from people who KNOW that FL is a scam, that MLM's should be and, for the most part are, avoided. When will FL take the hint that we have had enough of their charlatan business practices under the guise of aloe goop?

*brave

cozietoesie · 22/05/2016 22:02

I see that Timeless Vie now has over 1600 likes - and BotWatch over 650?

None of those will have been bought/swapped etc. Smile

Botfan63 · 22/05/2016 22:02

I hear it's pretty good for BS too ☺️ Your welcome

cozietoesie · 22/05/2016 22:05

Although, sadly, those likes can not include the people who might have wanted to like them but were scared to do it in case their MLM upline found out about it.

please bot63 at least try to improve your written language skills.

cozietoesie · 22/05/2016 22:10

Which might well have increased those figures significantly. Smile
