Still going strong here at bot watch HQ on MN!

Previous thread here

Botwatch on Wordpress and on Facebook

Timeless Vie on Wordpress and on Facebook

Eyespeying's Blog aka #manhun, even if he's been banned by MNHQ

Hommetepreneur on Facebook

We have our own regularly returning bots.

Glossary:

Bots: our affectionate name for victims of the MLM racket

MLM: Multi-level Marketing schemes - essentially pyramid schemes that are just legal because you sell a product. Reliant upon constant recruitment despite there not being enough people in the world to go beyond about 12 levels if everyone recruited 6.

Downline/Upline: the people you recruited and those who recruited you (going up and down the pyramid inverted funnel)

Timeless Vie: Parody of MLM schemes (though you might spot one in particular) that also carries out fearless investigative work

Hommetrepreneur: also excellent parody site focussing on the menz

BotWatch: Rather more serious, keeps an eye on what the Bots are claiming next, particularly in reference to health and income claims. Also fearless.

Inverted Funnel: Timeless Vie is NOT a pyramid - it's an inverted Funnel, OK?

Eyes: Our former member Eyespying who knows LOTS about MLM schemes. He's still our very own #manhun.

Let me give you my thoughts on this

natashashingles.com/2016/05/22/can-you-really-earn-350000-a-year-selling-aloe-vera-the-bits-the-daily-mail-didnt-print/

stopfaffing · 22/05/2016 18:46

I thoroughly enjoyed reading the thousands of comments under the article; more than 99% were against FL and MLM (rather like the failure rate for MLM lol).

cozietoesie · 22/05/2016 18:49

And also

botwatchblog

The BotWatchBlog piece dealing with alternative/extra income generation is worth remembering in particular.

stopfaffing · 22/05/2016 18:51

Thanks for links, Cosie Wink.

TruthfulTara88 · 22/05/2016 18:53

Wow BarnBot, if you were trying to write the most passive aggressive opening paragraph, you achieved it.
Way to go by insulting potential recruits.

BSintolerant · 22/05/2016 18:53

^So the answer is YES, you can earn £350,000 a year selling Aloe… Although, It will be the hardest road you’ve ever travelled.

Is it life changing, worth it & the best thing I’ve ever done?…..

ABSO-FECKIN-LUTELY!!^

How would she know if it's life changing and worth it if she's never earned £350,000 a year selling aloe vera? 🤔

Thanks for the link cozie

stopfaffing · 22/05/2016 18:57

Natasha, you wrote a piece on your fb page on 23rd December 2015 at 2:28pm which implied that you'd turned down the opportunity to buy your council house with a £75,000 discount to move into your dream home thanks to FL. That you'd spent 18 months working every day, sacrificing time with your kids in order to "give your children a beautiful home".

True you didn't say in words that you had "bought" the barn, but you certainly implied it, judging from the comments below the post. People believed you had bought it, didn't they? Is that what you mean by "faking it till you make it?" We know, don't we, that you are not the only FL bot who implied she'd bought a beautiful majestic building and had many, many comments following her original post from people who thought she had. I remember too her brother stating on one of his youtube videos that she had "bought a castle" with the money she'd made from FL. A lie, though, wasn't it? Is that what you mean by "faking it till you make it"?

On the back of all that fakery many people were recruited into a 'business' that promised much but failed them again and again and again. Yet, they were the ones told they had failed! So angry about it, Natasha.

ForeverYazoonique · 22/05/2016 18:58

Thanks for the link to barnbot's blog you two! You clearly think it will change minds - but it's very revealing, and I suspect not in the way you want.

We see you.

BSintolerant · 22/05/2016 19:00

My hat goes off to them this year. I mean its [sic] no easy task to turn the entire population of the world against one religion.

Which paper is she on about? The Daily Mail, or the press in general?

Which religion has this paper turned the entire population of the world against?

Which bot has lost the plot?

Please do enlighten me.

DM don't like many religions, though muslims are particularly targeted just now. Nor women, fat people (particularly women) very thin people (particularly women), women with big boobs (loads of pics to illustrate) or women with big butts (same). Single mothers (women again, see a trend here?). Council house tenants, benefit claimants (mostly women), travellers...gee the list is endless (and features lots of women).

cozietoesie · 22/05/2016 19:12

With any MLM, you all know the rule.

'Follow The Money'. Smile

MrshumbleJeans · 22/05/2016 19:12

I guess natasha isnt willing to defend the texts, explain how much aloe you need to sell to earn £350,000 per year, explain her own post on the 23rd december, tell us whether FL sanctioned her blog post, illuminate us about her comments regarding the editor of the daily mail etc? Non...?

Righty ho then...

ForeverYazoonique · 22/05/2016 19:13

Still Natasha overcame her misgivings when she was offered an interview, eh?

cozietoesie · 22/05/2016 19:14

I think that that BotWatchBlog piece on income generation deserves very wide circulation indeed.

ForeverYazoonique · 22/05/2016 19:15

I loathe the daily fail for the reasons outlined by Stopfaffing but I think it's popular enough to have an impact. Seems to have got FLHQ rather upset anyway, so it's all good.

MrshumbleJeans · 22/05/2016 19:15

oh and quelle surprise! Here is botfan again, the favourite sidekick... 🙄🙄

DoTheMLMHustle · 22/05/2016 19:15

Was that a name change fail?
Ha ha ha!

Natasha you came onto this thread, so please can I have your defense of the cruel way you personally have bullied people in your team?

MrshumbleJeans · 22/05/2016 19:16

Yeah, I was thinking that forever, guess it would have put her face in the papers at any cost, or so she thought huh? Damn... To be dropped at the last minute. 😔😔

cozietoesie · 22/05/2016 19:17

You're very welcome to the TV and BW links, folks. Smile

Zoomtothespoon · 22/05/2016 19:17

stopfaffing you left off the disabled! I think they only like middle class white British men.... Probably easier to say than the list of who they don't like!

cozietoesie · 22/05/2016 19:18

After all, individual MLM adherents are simply not that important in the scheme of things.

MrshumbleJeans · 22/05/2016 19:18

Especially after the other topbot got on the radio! Ouch!

MrshumbleJeans · 22/05/2016 19:19

Pretty sure Rex has contributed to a campaign that is against an entire sexuality Natasha.
