Still going strong here at bot watch HQ on MN!

Previous thread here

Botwatch on Wordpress and on Facebook

Timeless Vie on Wordpress and on Facebook

Eyespeying's Blog aka #manhun, even if he's been banned by MNHQ

Hommetepreneur on Facebook

We have our own regularly returning bots.

Glossary:

Bots: our affectionate name for victims of the MLM racket

MLM: Multi-level Marketing schemes - essentially pyramid schemes that are just legal because you sell a product. Reliant upon constant recruitment despite there not being enough people in the world to go beyond about 12 levels if everyone recruited 6.

Downline/Upline: the people you recruited and those who recruited you (going up and down the pyramid inverted funnel)

Timeless Vie: Parody of MLM schemes (though you might spot one in particular) that also carries out fearless investigative work

Hommetrepreneur: also excellent parody site focussing on the menz

BotWatch: Rather more serious, keeps an eye on what the Bots are claiming next, particularly in reference to health and income claims. Also fearless.

Inverted Funnel: Timeless Vie is NOT a pyramid - it's an inverted Funnel, OK?

Eyes: Our former member Eyespying who knows LOTS about MLM schemes. He's still our very own #manhun.

It really is selective amnesia isnt it stop?

It seems that apparently if you delete something it never happened!

Spongebobette · 22/05/2016 15:53

Nothing that I have read about MLMs and specifically about Forever Living has been demonstrated to be a lie.
However many claims that the 'bots' have made, and the impressions given by those at the top of the pyramid, have not been true
I note that one of the top bots is on a tour of European towns at the moment, presumably because that's now a more fertile recruiting ground while the UK one reaches saturation.
Keep recruiting or die.

Spongebobette · 22/05/2016 15:54

I mean 'read about MLMs ON HERE'

FayKorgasm · 22/05/2016 16:13

Those at the top are so empty of any moral fibre. Women, mainly women targeted with emotionally blackmailing memes of babies in cots begging mummy not to go to work (yes I have seen it) , selling them lies. Encouraging them to gamble their finances, family life and their mental health and then blame them when it doesn't work.

chesarasara · 22/05/2016 16:21

Poor Barnbot gets humiliated by FL with her mini giant cheque (that video of her receiving it is a classic) and now gets dumped by the Daily Mail too. Not really doing well on all levels are you hun.

MrshumbleJeans · 22/05/2016 16:24

Oh but apparently fayk thats was all just a giggly rookie mistake! Tehee! They did it, but YOU shouldnt apparently, because exposed in public it doesnt work and its not the way of a network pro. Hmm Monkey see? Monkey definetly DONT do, because we said so. ('except if you do,we will 100% turn a blind eye as long as the CC's keep rolling in, dont get caught though, because we will just say its your fault!')

ForeverYazoonique · 22/05/2016 16:26

Ches tsk tsk no that was a change of name on her cheque something something something. Hmm

MrshumbleJeans · 22/05/2016 16:26

che yes, cant help thinking that must have really cut deep! 😳

MrshumbleJeans · 22/05/2016 16:27

forever 🤔🤔😂

chesarasara · 22/05/2016 16:43

Yes of course it was just about FL changing the name on her cheque to the correct one something she always wanted which is why she was wearing I'm totally gutted expression. Hmm

MrshumbleJeans · 22/05/2016 16:45

Quick question for barnbot did you not get the FLP UK memo then? You know the one that "strongly recommended" that FBO's did not communicate about or reference this article publicly? How do they feel about your blog post?

MrshumbleJeans · 22/05/2016 16:46

Sorry meant the daily mail
Article, not "this" article.

MrshumbleJeans · 22/05/2016 16:48

It might not go down too well! Or are you throwing a missile into both camps? 🤔😉, I know all you ubers arent exactly bosom buds, even though you 'hun huddle' when required...

MrshumbleJeans · 22/05/2016 16:49

Sorry, I know you are not an UBER 'yet' of course! 😉

MrshumbleJeans · 22/05/2016 17:14

Sorry to keep posting, but another thing I noticed in the blog post are the references to 'selling yourself' the old 'you are the brand' crap... Thought it was all about the Aloe? So you admit that recruiting is what this is all really about then? The Aloe is merely a minor part of the excercise?
Because last time I bought a brand name product, I dont remember signing up with the salesperson to become a rep for that product?

In my line of work, our products and customer service speak for themselves, we do not have each staff member of the business calling themselves a global business coach, selling their back (sob) story and producing their own overhyped website to get people to buy the product, the business takes care of the marketing out of its own turnover and the employees are remunerated properly for the work they do and the hours they put in!

MrshumbleJeans · 22/05/2016 17:43

One more question (sorry all)

How much 'product' would you have to shift to make £350,000 per year then barnbot?

Babymamamama · 22/05/2016 18:06

What do people know about world ventures. This is a new one on me. Is it going to be the next forever living in the uk? Hope not I'm so tired of people being turned into zombies by this mlm stiff.

DoTheMLMHustle · 22/05/2016 18:07

Natasha, you've come here to deliberately goad people. Your blog is possibly the most patronising passive aggressive thing I've read in a long while. It's your blog. You can write what you like of course. Except if you're going to take the trouble to write so extensively, why not cut the bullshit?

You can try to make out that the lady in the Daily Mail article is just a one off, but we know that's not the case.

I've talked to quite a few ex FL bot's, the stories of real bullying that I've heard are painful to hear. Really painful.

They're not isolated. Some of them involve you Natasha. I've seen screenshots of texts from you.

Please do come and defend that.

ForeverYazoonique · 22/05/2016 18:25

And all the "common sense" business. Common sense doesn't seem to extend to recognizing a terahedral-shaped Egyptian monument when you see one.

BSintolerant · 22/05/2016 18:33

I dread to think what Forever Living's Head Office will think of barnbot's verbal diarrhoea on her blog about the Daily Mail article.

Her upline / sponsor won't be too happy about the way she described them either!

If you meet someone with a face like a smacked arse, a bad attitude, less regard for people than a Tory MP & the work ethic of a Jeremy Kyle guest its probably a good idea NOT to sign them up…. Although saying that, they signed me and it worked out just fine.

BSintolerant · 22/05/2016 18:35

Or was she describing herself? I suppose her rant wouldn't be out of place on the Jeremy Kyle show! Grin

BSintolerant · 22/05/2016 18:40

In fairness, I don’t think the journalist in question is even that happy about that article. I mean, after spending hours of your time creating a masterpiece what must it feel like to have the editor, of possibly the worst paper ever written, cut/slash/alter and edit your heartfelt work. Of course, a pay check every month probably softens the blow.

Is describing the Daily Mail as 'possibly the worst paper ever written' libellous?

Surely that award should go to The Framley Examiner? Grin

stopfaffing · 22/05/2016 18:40

Here are the dismal, but typical figures for income earned with World Ventures 2013/14 Baby. Small print below states that just over 80% earned NOTHING (although incurring a lot of expenses) and most of the others earned little, with a loss after taking off expenses. no surprises here then Hmm.

Here is a webpage warning people to beware as it is just another scammy MLM.

penny1ane · 22/05/2016 18:41

I think the comments on the daily mail article say it all really. I don't think it would have mattered what was written in the article. The fact it was about flp was enough for people to voice their opinion.
More and more people are becoming sick of seeing it and the way it is promoted.
Too many people are starting to see through it.
Timeless vie, botwatch and this thread continue to grow by the day.
You would think the would learn a lesson from this and try a new tactic but no, I am seeing it far more now than before.

cozietoesie · 22/05/2016 18:45

Here is a good link for people joining the thread.

Timeless Vie.

Could I draw people's attention to the new Timeless Vie piece there?
