Still going strong here at bot watch HQ on MN!

Previous thread here

Botwatch on Wordpress and on Facebook

Timeless Vie on Wordpress and on Facebook

Eyespeying's Blog aka #manhun, even if he's been banned by MNHQ

Hommetepreneur on Facebook

We have our own regularly returning bots.

Glossary:

Bots: our affectionate name for victims of the MLM racket

MLM: Multi-level Marketing schemes - essentially pyramid schemes that are just legal because you sell a product. Reliant upon constant recruitment despite there not being enough people in the world to go beyond about 12 levels if everyone recruited 6.

Downline/Upline: the people you recruited and those who recruited you (going up and down the pyramid inverted funnel)

Timeless Vie: Parody of MLM schemes (though you might spot one in particular) that also carries out fearless investigative work

Hommetrepreneur: also excellent parody site focussing on the menz

BotWatch: Rather more serious, keeps an eye on what the Bots are claiming next, particularly in reference to health and income claims. Also fearless.

Inverted Funnel: Timeless Vie is NOT a pyramid - it's an inverted Funnel, OK?

Eyes: Our former member Eyespying who knows LOTS about MLM schemes. He's still our very own #manhun.

This might be a good time to remind people about the specific posting guidelines that we've been given by MNHQ for these threads?

MrshumbleJeans · 22/05/2016 19:22

Why Cozie? What are you talking about?

stopfaffing · 22/05/2016 19:23

Shit yes! The disabled, Zoom Shock. I read the DM online everyday and persecute my mother with it (she is a DM lover). She can't understand why I read it. "I need to know my enemy, Ma" I reply, winking.

NatashaBarnBotShingles · 22/05/2016 19:25

Wasn't aware I had bullied any of my team, massive possibility I've pissed a few off though.... Sarcasm, straight talking & blunt facts don't always go down well with everyone! Think I've stated before I point blank refused to continue supporting anyone that ignored advice to do it properly. I'm sure there are a few texts somewhere that wouldn't come across well.... For every 1 text you have I have 100 messages thanking me, not just with regard to MLM but because I help anyone that needs it. Not just those in my team. You share selective posts on here, I notice nothing showing me in a good light ever gets mentioned!

If anyone would like to work with me on our numerous fundraising projects our charity is run alongside young epilepsy it's called KIDS LIKE FIFI... Thanks for the opportunity to plug shamelessly! 👍🏻👍🏻

cozietoesie · 22/05/2016 19:28

As I said. Always remember.

'Follow The Money'.

MrshumbleJeans · 22/05/2016 19:28

Oh good for you Natasha, you do charity stuff. So do MANY people. Trust me, I know a lot more than you may realise about children with extreme 'life limiting' epilepsy conditions, dont go there. This argument is about aloe fucking vera.

Tragicomical · 22/05/2016 19:32

Natasha what do you make of bots who do "charity" stuff such as -"Buy a lip balm and I will donate my profit of 90p per sale to my friend's deceased young daughter's memorial charity" ?

Saw one yesterday where the target was to sell 100 lip balms at £3 each and give the £90 to charity.

Wouldn't it be best to get people to donate £3 directly to the charity?

But anything for those CCs right?

BSintolerant · 22/05/2016 19:34

If the DM is against religion (as long as it isn't The Church of Your Country England) that's why it's against cults like Forever Living.
😉

NatashaBarnBotShingles · 22/05/2016 19:42

let me give you my thoughts on that ......

ForeverYazoonique · 22/05/2016 19:46

Thanks for posting it again Natasha! Everyone I do suggest you read it (though it's a tad long and repetitive).

cozietoesie · 22/05/2016 19:46

I can never understand why so many people seem to neither realise or care that MLM money has to come from somewhere. I'm perfectly prepared to believe - as I've said many times before - that a very few people make $$$$ from MLM activities.

Where do they think it comes from though?

cozietoesie · 22/05/2016 19:46

nor care

cozietoesie · 22/05/2016 19:48

Sorry - my autocorrect has been so cowed by double i s , that it's turned quite sulky. Wink

ForeverYazoonique · 22/05/2016 19:48

Agreed Cozie - it's almost like they think it grows on aloe plants trees isn't it?

DoTheMLMHustle · 22/05/2016 19:49

So you admit to bullying people Natasha?

That's what they have called it. The pressure and being slagged off in the FL manager FB pages. You see, whilst you have neatly swept it away calling it straight talking and sarcasm - that is what makes a Daily Mail story. And it's not just one person

You represent FL. Your blog tries to whitewash the misery that actual real people have gone through. A job they tried really hard at, felt like they had real friends, only to be dropped like a stone

Your flippant and patronising tone doesn't do you any favours

cozietoesie · 22/05/2016 19:51

Could someone remind me what the General MLMS churn rate is?

cozietoesie · 22/05/2016 19:52

MLM

(My autocorrect has gone beyond sulky and has now become petulant!)

cozietoesie · 22/05/2016 19:58

As ever, the excellent BotWatchBlog has come to my rescue.

If only I could post the link to 'people who care about you are worried'.

Botfan63 · 22/05/2016 20:00

This ARGUMENT is about aloe fucking Vera- my my someone's getting tetchy.

I share Natasha's thoughts on this so just in case you missed it

A young child, I might add...

DoTheMLMHustle · 22/05/2016 20:10

Looking at some of the FB pages of some MLM bot's I think they think they're superstars.

You're selling overpriced cosmetics with the insides of a weed in it. It's nothing special, and it's available at Tesco
