Glossary:

Bots: our affectionate name for victims of the MLM racket

MLM: Multi-level Marketing schemes - essentially pyramid schemes that are just legal because you sell a product. Reliant upon constant recruitment despite there not being enough people in the world to go beyond about 12 levels if everyone recruited 6.

Downline/Upline: the people you recruited and those who recruited you (going up and down the pyramid inverted funnel)

Timeless Vie: Parody of MLM schemes (though you might spot one in particular) that also carries out fearless investigative work

Hommetrepreneur: also excellent parody site focussing on the menz

BotWatch: Rather more serious, keeps an eye on what the Bots are claiming next, particularly in reference to health and income claims. Also fearless.

Inverted Funnel: Timeless Vie is NOT a pyramid - it's an inverted Funnel, OK?

Eyes: Our former member Eyespying who knows LOTS about MLM schemes. He's still our very own #manhun.

It shows you how it can be done. That's a strong, thoughtful person speaking there and they were inculcated, although - and much respect to them - they managed to get out.

There are some very interesting product descriptions in the (well over) 9,000 Amazon listings for product from one prominent MLM. Very interesting.

I see that Timeless Vie have also been given a dump of MLM training material. That piece is going to be interesting to read.

I have collated some ideas on ways to make money that don't involve MLM. It may be a good link to put on websites where people are putting up links to their MLM, ideas to give to a friend contemplating MLM? If you know of any good links or ideas I can add, let me know. I know there must be loads of other things I can add to it. Thanks.

Bloody hell I've just watched a bit of the 'millionaire mindset' webinar (link on top bot's FB page) it's is absolutely hilarious , like a parody!! They must have laughed themselves sick after they recorded it, it's full of cliches and cod psychology and aspirational photos. Nothing meaningful at all just crap about creating excitement and

I never get the impression that there's much actual laughter at MLM gatherings, I'm afraid. They all seem to take themselves very seriously indeed. More's the pity.

Charlatans who are making money out of people, 40 quid for a 4 part 'course' which consists of similar rubbish.

I've got a new bot couple. They're a gay couple doing Younique. They are going for the Wayne Goss approach and doing the make up on each other. I really want to ask them if they know who actually owns Younique, because I'm not sure how impressed they'd be if they knew.

I'm having a giggle at the alternative names for "pyramid scheme" given on another forum which are discussing MLMs (LTW in particular)here. Things like "tetrahedral monument" and "Egyptian-tomb-shaped" . Worth a look-in.

Just reading down that thread I linked to above and discovered they have screenshotted a bit from the LTW nethuns page which includes a couple of comments from me! I'm famous .

No-one has natural immunity to them. Some people might be more difficult to inculcate than others (and not worth the time) but that doesn't mean that they couldn't be caught by the right person at the right time.
