I am very naive though.

We must remember the whole MLM business is a game with some cray-cray rules which positively cry out for this kind of shenanigans - they don't care how people buy or sell it they just want it sold - and a few poster boys and girls to encourage others to join.

Twunk · 24/04/2016 23:26

I think the big cheques are a mistake with the U.K. market. We just don't find it motivating on the whole, and it could have the opposite effect for the rank and file.

Patzy85 · 24/04/2016 23:27

Twunk - I'm sure it was cubic who mentioned this before. Using family members to create your 'team' and run certain things through them.

Delurker - it's interesting to hear that they buy their success, it is just as a bots ex-husband had described. I wonder how much profit they really take home and if it was all worth it. How long were you a part of FL?

confusedbot · 24/04/2016 23:33

Yes I have heard of all this happening too. I know one top bot who put CC's through two people to make them supervisors so he can go to eagle manager retreat. He would have had to sell buy an awful lot of product to don this though!

I do think though that the holidays are paid for and the cheques are real but it's how they get them that isn't the full truth. They "play" the system.

Melaw21 · 24/04/2016 23:34

Agreed twunk it makes you want to vom, all the hunning, back slapping, fake glitz, meercats and giant cheques, what ever happened to just being humble?... (Sigh)

Another bug bear of mine is the #lookatmeImdoingcharity shit that we see, if you care so much just do it and stop using it as a marketing excercise. Can you imagine all the workers in charity shops or taking selfies everytime they have to sort through a bag of mouldy undercrackers? Or third world medics showing off constantly? Promote the charity by all means, but dont harp on about every little thing you do for it!

Rant over!

Toobusytowee · 24/04/2016 23:35

One of the conditions of qualifying for a Chairman's bonus cheque is that Forever Living's policies are followed. What would happen if it was shown that top bots broke the rules I wonder?

If you look at the policies there's all sorts of rules about signing up 'ghost' accounts and fake people. For that clause to even be there must mean it is a problem.

Melaw21 · 24/04/2016 23:36

For pities sake bots... Show some 'humility' 🙄😉

Twunk · 24/04/2016 23:56

Toobusy I think perhaps there would be enforcement if a face didn't fit, or someone brought embarrassment to the firm, or jumped ship. It always helps to have something in reserve...

Or maybe they are rules more honoured in the breach than in the observance?

Or maybe they are yet more window-dressing?

Delurker2016 · 25/04/2016 00:00

I always think it's an eye opener when a certain bot is the only person who benefits from their family members, therefore boosting that one bot and not their family.

Charity thing also bugs me. One bot today even said today that what people don't know is that all the big cheque bots do hundreds of things for charity but they don't tell people about it, whilst doing a post with selfies of them doing things for charity. Oh the irony!

Twunk · 25/04/2016 00:05

Lots of companies have charitable arms and make huge donations. It's hardly unusual or especially noteworthy

Delurker2016 · 25/04/2016 00:06

The holidays are definitely real, it's what goes on in the background that people don't see. I'm not sure working myself within an inch of my sanity, alienating all my friends and family, and basically becoming so ridiculously obsessed I could see or think of nothing else other than FLP would be worth 4 days in Greece.
But then it all adds to the act doesn't it, look at me, I work so hard, even though I'm so depressed and anxious all the time, but I do it all for me, ahem sorry I mean you. Because I genuinely care about everyone.

Twunk · 25/04/2016 00:07

"I don't like to talk about my extensive charidee work" Grin

Melaw21 · 25/04/2016 00:08

twunk I hear it can be a useful tax write off too... 🤔

notyourfanboy · 25/04/2016 00:08

My last thoughts for tonight revolve around the perception of how we as humans help each other - I was thinking, as you are making so much profit from your shop - instead of bleating about how little Forever people did for charity - why not lead the way and donate a specific amount - and challenge the bots in FLP to match it?

Shows you really are as caring for humanity as you say eh?

Twunk · 25/04/2016 00:08

In the Netherlands everyone is paid a 13th month as holiday pay! So at the end of May (I think, might be April) I get an extra month's wages! It's great and really does pay for our holiday.

Twunk · 25/04/2016 00:10

Is that the best you can do notafan? - seriously?

notyourfanboy · 25/04/2016 00:11

Sorry Twunk - was that too much for you to take on board?

Twunk · 25/04/2016 00:13

yes Notafan you've got me. Hmm

Melaw21 · 25/04/2016 00:14

Did you even read the posts before responding nota ? 😂😂

Delurker2016 · 25/04/2016 00:14

Please don't get me started on how - we as humans - treat people.
I have witnessed the most disgusting treatment of people by bots. If they were in actual employment it would never be tolerated.
As far as I'm concerned the charity they do is to cover what absolute whore of human beings they are. It's the only way I can imagine they manage to sleep at night, well that and Royal Jelly obviously. Wink

Melaw21 · 25/04/2016 00:15

Snap delurker 😂😂😂

BSintolerant · 25/04/2016 00:16

Welcome to our latest two delurkers. Are there any more of you out there who need our help with digging a tunnel out of the MLM camp?

Just seen a bot's page - he's posted a pic of the top 10 UK Forever Fibbing folks and their big plastic cheques. He talks about rentedcastlebot's success and how he's going to be up there with them at next year's rally. His post doesn't have many likes. Bloody hell, he's deluded.

As for those cheques, it is indeed very interesting how the top bots aren't bragging about them in selfies. Have they come to the conclusion that money talks, but wealth whispers?
