Glad you feel a little better confused you know where we are ;-) xx

Patzy85 · 24/04/2016 21:28

Please to hear that confused. Hope everything works out well for you. Smile

smiinky · 24/04/2016 21:29

excellent xxx take care, will be thinking of you. I know you can do it.
And. if you can sell foul tasting aloe gloop (which looks bloody impossible to me), imagine how well you'll do outside of mlm. You'll do great xx

Delurker2016 · 24/04/2016 21:37

I've been reading these posts for a while now.
Confused I know how you feel, I spoke with a best friend of mine to tell her how I was feeling and she said she was so glad that I had finally come to my senses, I was shocked at how many people were worried about me.

the hype with the cheques is just that, hype, and I feel sorry for the people saying they will be there next year, truth is, they won't. Nothing to do with not working hard enough. It's so much easier to blame the person, not taking into consideration that they have a life, and problems they may have to deal with that no amount of mindset training can overcome.

There are many things I don't agree with but the one thing I notice is that any FLP 'bots' who come on to defend the company actually do nothing but show what arrogant people they are.

I feel better now.

cozietoesie · 24/04/2016 21:48

Glad you could get it off your chest, Delurker. Smile

throwingpebbles · 24/04/2016 21:48

sending best wishes to confused and to delurker

enjoy the movie confused !!

Melaw21 · 24/04/2016 21:49

Welcome Delurker, very well said! I have to agree, that 95% of the time, our encounters with the supposed representatives of each mlm company on here, have been very much less than positive!

Bovnydazzlers · 24/04/2016 21:53

delurker and confused thank you both for taking the courage to post on here. I think it shows that there will be hundreds/thousands more in a similar position feeling trapped. It's an immense amount of psychological pressure for people to deal with, to feel they are living a lie.

My observations on MLMs this week:

  1. there are a couple of the boys who got v large cheques (think uk top 5) who are conspicuous in their absence of posting anything about their cheques on Facebook, v different to last year.

  2. LTW seems the biggest crock of fraud ever. When the main reason given for why people should trust it is the founders came from Amway?!

Some of their hamper 'contents can be changed at any time' offers seem extremely fishy. Buy these aloe Vera detox juices (!) for circa £1k and get a free holiday (based on a quad room)...

stopfaffing · 24/04/2016 22:11

Yes Bov, I was looking at these 'offers' this morning. Baffled, to be honest.

chuckingstones · 24/04/2016 22:18

Confused that's fine if you don't feel you can talk to Timeless Vie, they are there to help but there's no pressure. You do seem genuine and you'll find this community truly welcoming (rather than the reaction that is given to some of the more arrogant bots).

I've suffered from depression in the past and I know how it can really affect your confidence and work. I'm sure you and your husband can pull together and you can find something that properly invigorates you and brings you a good sense of satisfaction without that pressure that you had.

Good luck and stay in touch with everyone here, you'll always have support if you need it!

I actually commend timeless vie on their representation of ex-managers.

What is disturbing is that the screen shots of a certain bot who is clearly bonus buying have been ignored by FLP HQ. The smaller bots and managers are the ones who are most often 'struck off' again confirming that in fact, they are not 'business owners' at all.
These threads have been a huge eye opener for me, I've seen first hand how people are treated within FLP and the whole 'forever friends' is an absolute crock of shite. Most of the top bots and their second in command bots absolutely despise each other and the bitching is hilarious. I think many of them would be terribly worried if people were to expose them........but from what I hear, this is about to happen.

DollyTwat · 24/04/2016 22:26

Welcome Confused, you'll find a lot of support here.

I am fascinated by the LTW scam. People are openly admitting that they are buying stuff they don't want and selling it on eBay. The holiday hampers have prices that change often, and seem very bad value. I've not seen anyone actually WIN the prize car every month. It's all such a scam - I think people are going to be ripped off massively

cozietoesie · 24/04/2016 22:27

Most people. Wink

Twunk · 24/04/2016 22:29

It's a cutthroat business - that's definitely the message we get loud and clear

throwingpebbles · 24/04/2016 22:50

dekurker that sounds very interesting. If you want to say more in confidence www.faceboo.com/timelessvie are always happy to listen. We only share stuff people ask us to share. That said, no pressure and your comments on this thread are really helpful

Ps. Bonus buying definitely happens, have seen screenshots of it. Bloody awful., the whole thing. V unfair on people that work really hard at it and can't understand why it doesn't work out

throwingpebbles · 24/04/2016 22:51

Sorry, www.facebook.com/timelessvie

Twunk · 24/04/2016 22:56

I'm beginning to think that the angry bloke commenting on the TV FB group is actually on our side - he is sure is doing a great job making MLMs sound awful!

Melaw21 · 24/04/2016 23:00

How does bonus buying work then? That sounds very very murky!

Twunk · 24/04/2016 23:11

Getting the downline to put through orders to get up CCs (one tactic anyway!)

I'm thinking that they might also recruit new people by buying them in, but I have no proof of that. If I was going to qualify for a big cheque by spending a couple of hundred quid that's what I would do... #justsayin

Delurker2016 · 24/04/2016 23:14

In order for a certain level bot to earn a 'gem bonus' all their managers below are required to qualify. If they don't bot loses a fair amount.
So Top Bot places orders through their account or online website and then takes the products themselves.

This has also happened with the Big Cheques with Top Bots offering thousands of ££s to lower bots to achieve certain levels. Then if they don't, Top Bot places orders through their accounts.

Smoke and mirrors most of it.
Lots of sneakiness, hatred amongst bots (which of course is only done in private).

Delurker2016 · 24/04/2016 23:15

It's also been said that certain top bots have signed up underage family members and changed their DOB to qualify for holidays.

Twunk · 24/04/2016 23:17

But it's all one big loving Forever Family isn't it Delurker? [fake shock]

Delurker2016 · 24/04/2016 23:18

If you go by Facebook then yes, one big Happy Disfunctional Family.

Twunk · 24/04/2016 23:20

Could a top bot use family members to become managers themselves? Strikes me as an easy way to get "qualifying managers" - whatever that means

Melaw21 · 24/04/2016 23:21

Wow! Even murkier than I thought! 😱
