While waiting for Part 2 of that story, I re-read the previous TV posts on some sample recruitment methods. Well worth another dip if you have a spare 10 minutes.

By the way, there appears to be quite a large issue with people being added to FB groups without their consent - in general and not just for MLM recruitment purposes. Anyone who has found themselves in this position might well raise the issue via the FB user community. It would only take a little time and would all add to the weight of opinion on this issue.

Sorry - I didn't make myself too clear, there. Apparently, there's no way of preventing it at the moment.

Toobusytowee · 13/04/2016 12:57

Yes, I got that last night. It has been dealt with now. Just in case anyone is interested, green tea capsules will not cure cancer unfortunately. Or do anything else for that matter.

cozietoesie · 13/04/2016 13:46

Well done, Toobusy. Smile

Twunk · 13/04/2016 14:47

A nice cup of green tea can cure a thirst! I am very fond of green tea. I have a lovely one with jasmine. Hmmmnn will make a cup....

RortyCrankle · 13/04/2016 14:48

I was in my local shopping centre earlier and there were were two Forever Living bots trying to catch some unsuspecting poor souls. There were a few women standing around them and as I passed I said in a loud voice to my friend - 'oh look, Forever Living, that's the dodgy cult pyramid scheme I was warning you about.' She looked at me as if I had lost my marbles because we had never had such a conversation but it was enough for the women standing with the bots to shuffle away. I could feel the bots' daggers in my back as I walked past.

So that was my good deed for the day Grin.

Twoodle · 13/04/2016 15:42

Over on the Nethuns thread there is an interesting story from a new LTW rep who hasn't been sent their groceries and LTW have avoided giving them their money back.

cozietoesie · 13/04/2016 15:56

'Teething problems'. Grin

(Although it's a bad shame for the people who signed up.)

SideOrderofChip · 13/04/2016 15:58

One of my friends has started Jamberry. Sigh.

Twoodle · 13/04/2016 17:06

Yazoo is on offer in tescos this week 50p for 400ml all flavours. Just saying!

Quite a few items are on special, Twoodle. Wink

Twunk · 13/04/2016 17:41

You're going to have to link Twoodle - Nethuns does my head in Wink

stopfaffing · 13/04/2016 17:43

Just read part 2 of the FL rep's experience, read it here. Grateful thanks to this woman who has shared her story with TV.

Just on the left of the page is an interesting TimelessVie retweet from SeekingAlpha which I have linked here about the current Herbalife/FTC action which is coming to an end (in USA).

Melaw21 · 13/04/2016 17:45

Ugh side my sympathies on the jambot... Those irritating nail shite peddlers are all over the craft groups I was in (couldnt bear it anymore so left them) pretending that these wraps are some kind of #amazing 'never before seen' work of art for your nails. 🙄

stopfaffing · 13/04/2016 17:50

Wow, just had a look at that post, twoodle, I have screenshotted it below.

Rorty Respect! Grin.

Thankyou for posting that stop... There you are then... As I suspected, it seems there must be no continuous supply guarantee... Or fall back position.

cozietoesie · 13/04/2016 18:23

Dear Goodness.

Thanks for posting that, stop. Much respect to that person.

Well done Timeless Vie.

Hi

I've been lurking on these threads and always interested in what other people have to say about MLMs, thought i'd finally pop my head in and say hello! My FB feed is choc-a-block with bots trying to hawk their "wonderproducts" at everyone and at the same time sign them up for these "amazingly shite once in a lifetime business opportunities" best one I've seen so far was my friend thats a size 6 trying to make out that she had lost 20 stone in a day okay maybe thats an exaggeration by using certain FL products.

I've taken to unfollowing or even unfriending a lot of them as I'm bored of the same old drivel day after day.

Have to say from reading the most recent posts this LTW malarky is just mind boggling... Confused I would rather order a shop online, be able to choose from own supermarket brand as well as branded and at least be able to choose a delivery slot and not pay over the odds for products, but maybe i'm a bots worst nightmare as I don't get easily sucked in and prefer to laugh at them Grin
