I still think, though, that it might be useful having some videos available - TV?- that actually show people dealing with things in their day to day lives. It's how the MLMs do their training because oftentimes, people just 'haven't got the words' when faced with a situation in reality. (Even if they know precisely what they might be dealing with, it's different when you're on your tod and a shining eyed and eager old friend suddenly starts to 'prospect' you.)

Maybe you won't be able to extricate them as has been discussed. Even seeing how to deal with something to extricate yourself might be something though?

(And for scripts, some of Cubic's posts would be a good start. )

I don't know whether to laugh or cry, when well-informed observers, like Ethan, still use the somewhat timid phrase, 'cult-like,' to describe 'MLM' cults.

I compiled 'The Universal Identifying Characteristics of a Cult,' so that when anyone wants to describe groups like 'Amway', 'Herbalife', 'FLP', etc. as cults, they can do so freely, because they can also explain exactly what is meant by this widely-misunderstood, and misused, word.

I dunno Eyes - remember who the video is aimed at. Going in all guns blazing and calling them cults could put people off listening to the useful advice - thinking his beliefs are extreme (even if they are correct).

When eyes started posting I was listening but I also thought he sounded a bit extreme. After all, it was just some annoying thing on Facebook that had taken in some friends...not a cult!

No it's not, Global. I've just done it though as a test. I had to download it as a PDFs from the web but it's reacting just like a kindle book.

hey guys, TV has received it's first legal threat - this one was to YouTube. They are pretending we r infringing copyright (even though we're okay under fair use) and they've taken down the 2 FL vids. We're working on a backup solution now. The vids will be back.

There's a lot to be done and we're running as fast we can to keep up with it all. I expect Ariix will target us next.

Cozie, so did you search for it from your kindle? I just tried and then it said something about not being able to download. I have got it on my laptop though so I shall just continue to read it on that.

I did indeed, Global. I have web access on mine so it took it from there.

My devices rather have minds of their own, though.

If there's legal threats to TV that means we are doing a great job and it's working.

I'm afraid I don't know the Paperwhite. I went in on the 'Search' icon on mine, then went down to the bottom where it had a legend about downloading from the web - so I did. (Can you tell I 'fiddle' with devices?)

At least you have the laptop backup.

All this locking down profiles, password-protected and deleted videos... We are having an effect. I appreciate they will explain it away as "harassment" and "bullying" but it does mean they have to clear up their act, in public at least.

We shouldn't have had to point out the lies, the health claims, the glossy "fake it til you make it" propaganda. FL were letting it go unchecked.

The blatant health claims are much fewer now. The posts to my FB page are more inspirational than blatant lying now.
