They must have been made aware because if you scroll down the fb page there's something about FAQs - it basically says that if the judge knows one of the nominated women then they won't be involved in that vote (I think).

I've got a feeling it may even have been someone on one of these threads ages ago that might have instigated that disclaimer by contacting them??

throwingpebbles · 23/03/2016 09:59

Yes they had a few tweets I believe Wink
Think they are completely entangled with that MLM Hmm

cozietoesie · 23/03/2016 10:03

It's sometimes 'the way things are done'. (You don't careen a boat when it's still coming into harbour. Wink)

Eyespying · 23/03/2016 10:10

Exactly as in 'Scientology,' according to the closed-logic 'MLM' controlling narrative, any criminal, and/or unethical, act committed by any adherent(s) is entirely the responsibility of the individual adherent(s) and not that of the 'MLM' organisation or of its leadership. When criminal, and/or unethical, acts are exposed and cannot be denied, the 'MLM' bosses, and/or their apologists, systematically point to their smokescreen 'contracts', 'rules,' and 'codes of ethics,' and pretend that they cannot be expected to police every independent business owner/distributor at all times.

Heads I win, tails you lose.

Eyespying · 23/03/2016 10:13

BTW, I posted the above comment in response to a PM question.

Thanks, Eye. It may be known but it bears regular repeating.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 23/03/2016 13:11

Media coverage alert!!

'Feature Me' group on Facebook are asking for contact from people who sold Forever Living and now don't. Their page link is www.facebook.com/groups/166398616795827/?fref=nf

An awful lot of the feature writers from the page supply articles to the Daily Mail, so if they pick up on it it could get a lot of coverage.

Someone's already linked to this thread and also to Timeless Vie but it might be worth TV/Botwatch also contacting them?

cozietoesie · 23/03/2016 13:18

Why do they say they want people to contact them?

Eyespying · 23/03/2016 13:20

cozietoesie - My above comment also ties in with a FAQ on my Blog:

'Can MLM distributors be prosecuted for fraud?'

One thing's for certain, if any 'MLM' rank and file, or shill, Bot even looks like he/she might get charged with fraud, he/she will be excommunicated.

cozietoesie · 23/03/2016 13:25

I recall once reading a proper Power of Attorney. A wonderful document. Virtually total power but virtually no liabilities.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 23/03/2016 13:28

cozie they are feature writers so they post to find people for whatever article is being commissioned. It's usually wimmin's mag/tabloid fodder to be fair.

cozietoesie · 23/03/2016 13:31

They could usefully be steered straight to Timeless Vie and these threads then I would have thought? That might be more beneficial to any genuine feature writer. Smile

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 23/03/2016 13:40

Yep, I think you're right. I hope something comes of it.

kamchatka23 · 23/03/2016 13:41

There's an interesting commenter on one of the threads on that Feature Me page. Interesting, in that the first thing they pick to rant about is how Forever aren't exploiting people in Africa at all. Sounds familiar...

throwingpebbles · 23/03/2016 14:00

Haha kam yeah bless her she just vomited up the entire script in one big long rant!

Patzy85 · 23/03/2016 14:04

Kam - just read the replies.

Willable. Royalty style income. Bullshit.

She hasn't a clue!

IT IS NOT WILLABLE.

You're just giving your downline away. That's like leaving someone your job! Whoever gets it has to do 4cc a month. Poor bugger Grin

THE INCOME STOPS WHEN YOU DO.

You can not just sit back and see the £ signs coming in. There is no royalty style income. It HAS to be maintained. This has already be proven so many times over.

And everyone's favourite line - people just didn't work hard enough! People these days lack drive. Whistleblowers are failures etc.
GrinGrinGrin

What about the whistleblowers such as Craig Morgan?

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 23/03/2016 14:06

It's like playing BotMantra Bingo on that thread.

simplydivine05 · 23/03/2016 14:07

The one who has commented about if they want to hear from someone who has built a life from FL has another profile and she is making all sorts of medical claims about the products. She really shouldn't have made herself known!

Patzy85 · 23/03/2016 14:10

Just seen all the medical claims she is making as well. Obviously didn't get the memo! Grin

rayofhope · 23/03/2016 14:11

The person commenting on that post is very scathing against people she's worked with that apparently haven't been able to 'hack' it. She's just proving a point there about how some sponsors feel about their teams when they realise it's not all it's cracked up to be.

If you were joining FL would you really want her to be your sponsor........

She's right though, you do get knocked back ALOT, and who wants THAT negativity in their lives....... especially when it's from friends and family who see what it's really all about and don't join as they don't want to lose money.

And yes the whistleblowers are the ones it didn't work for, after all how many people have gone in to FL hoping to earn a few hundred extra and month and end up in debt? Far more than their sponsors would ever admit

cozietoesie · 23/03/2016 14:11

Personally, I'd leave them to it. If any 'feature writer' is minded to take up that stuff after reading just some of the TV material, then they'd justifiably be laughed out of the room. Dilution of effort isn't needed.

Smile

"The one who has commented about if they want to hear from someone who has built a life from FL has another profile and she is making all sorts of medical claims about the products."
Sadly, I don't do Facebook, but can someone message the writer of the article about that? Smile

simplydivine05 · 23/03/2016 14:17

Good thinking mimsy. I'll do it.

Kanga59 · 23/03/2016 14:38

and screen shot it before she deletes it

can anyone else hear the FL lawyers quickly scrambling about "Whose her upline", "shut her up quick and get her to delete all of her Facebook posts on that page!"

"I don't know Rexy, we don't have a database of all plebs"

"well get one put together pronto. and don't worry about the data protection act - it doesn't apply to us"
