I found this and it got me thinking. You don't hear people saying "come and work at Tesco, it's not a pyramid scheme." "My place of work is great. And it's not illegal in any way." "My company has been operating for 29 years, therefore, it must be legal otherwise the government would have shut it down."

How did you hear about us Badger?

LMGTFY · 22/03/2016 21:56

Seriously, some scumbag is using today's horror as part of their social campaign? I don't even have the words to describe them.

LMGTFY · 22/03/2016 21:58

Social media that should say, sorry, it's late (for me!)

Twunk · 22/03/2016 21:59

I should try and sell some of my sewing. "Awful shit happening in Belgium! Buy some bunting to cheer you up!"

AbolishFlobots · 22/03/2016 22:00

Love that picture toobusy 😂

Patzy85 · 22/03/2016 22:04

It's as low as I would expect it to be. I bet there's more 'likes' than usual, meaning more page interaction, meaning wider audience, meaning free promotion....

Bots be botting.

ambler21 · 22/03/2016 22:50

I believe you meant 'botted to the fucking eyeballs bots be botting' ;)

In other exciting news the Wonderful Worcestershire Women finalists have been announced on the awards fb page.

throwingpebbles · 22/03/2016 23:07

I note that award has been sponsored by HSBC... Given their international presence they might be rather disgusted to be alerted to the fact that a finalist had tried to harness the Belgian atrocities to promote their "business" ...

Twunk · 22/03/2016 23:25

ARGH IT'S NOT A FUCKING BUSINESS!!!

Why why why why why don't people think? Hmmmmmm...pyramid scheme....not a business but a con!

Still more work to be done. Organizations such as this should NOT be giving legitimacy to such utter horse manure.

cozietoesie · 22/03/2016 23:35

Seen today on Timeless Vie. A comment from someone who said they were one of the many who couldn't officially like TV. (My memory of what was said.)

Guess that means they're reading it nonetheless Smile so well done TV.

throwingpebbles · 22/03/2016 23:51

An apt article for tonight. Inappropriate to use such an atrocicity to promote any agenda, political or commercial or scamtastical Angry

cozietoesie · 23/03/2016 00:09

It would be astoundingly crass to say the least.

Ha! I was so genuinely upset by this I actually forgot to share the article!

xenu1 · 23/03/2016 08:05

What upset you? The leftie kickback wound me up bigtime.

blogs.spectator.co.uk/2016/03/a-terrorist-attack-has-happened-in-europe-let-the-standard-response-begin/

"On social media the sentimentalists await the arrival of this atrocity’s cutesy hashtag or motif and hope it will tide them over until the piano man arrives at the scene of the attack to sing ‘Imagine there’s no countries’. Meantime someone will hopefully have said something which a lot of people can condemn as ‘inappropriate’. I see that the Telegraph columnist Allison Pearson was this morning’s Twitter miscreant, foolish enough to say in the wake of the Brussels attack that the EU might not make us very safe. One may agree or disagree with this sentiment, but Ms Pearson should have known that the only acceptable thing to do after a suicide bomber detonates beside the European Commission is to acclaim the Commission as one of the few entities able to keep us safe."

I saw Mr Murray speak in the Copenhagen Motoons conference last year. A good, brave man.

Eyespying · 23/03/2016 08:31

throwingpebbles I also think that now might be an appropriate time to remind everyone that there has been a US-based 'MLM' cultic racket which has gone after the Muslim community (particularly, vulnerable young men) in W. Europe.

For several years, the 'ACN' bosses paid Donald Trump piles of stolen money to be their pitch man, but Trump has lately claimed to have been ignorant of what ACN really does.

Last year, when I posted an article warning that 'ACN' is a cultic racket preying on Muslims, I received some disturbing anonymous comments (which I didn't post), including one which instructed me to 'stop using religious words to speak of ACN business opportunity.'

throwingpebbles · 23/03/2016 08:50

xenu what upset me was a unnameable FL bot referring to the attacks as a good reason to get involved in MLM Shock

throwingpebbles · 23/03/2016 08:51

I don't think the immediate aftermath of an atrocity is the time to harness it to promote any agenda, left, right, business etc

NorbertDentressangle · 23/03/2016 09:07

I am sitting on my hands desperate to post something on that Wonderful Worcestershire Woman facebook page.

It was bad enough that a FLBot was even among the original nominations for the One Woman Business category but now we find out she's a finalist. (Plus of course that fact that an uber-bot is a judge Hmm).

It just makes a mockery of the whole set-up and discredits the whole organisation/event.

There are real women with real businesses, women with morals and ethics amongst the nominations. They are the ones who should be applauded not the fake shills.

Twunk · 23/03/2016 09:25

Agreed Pebbles - yesterday was a day for reflection and consideration for the people who were having the worst day of their lives.

Twunk · 23/03/2016 09:25

Agreed Norbert - I came and ranted here instead

Twunk · 23/03/2016 09:26

I'll just agree today Wink

chuckingstones · 23/03/2016 09:29

Norbert I believe they have already been made aware but are happy that said bot counts as "self employed" Hmm. Maybe someone can convince them otherwise?

chuckingstones · 23/03/2016 09:31

Also apparently uberbot isn't judging that category and therefore has no influence. Forgive me for being slightly sceptical...

cozietoesie · 23/03/2016 09:47

If they've been 'made aware'...........,
