Toobusytowee You could also emphasise that it's what key-information Bots have not been told, and do not know, which is far more damning-evidence of fraud.

Apart from the effectively-100% hidden overall loss/churn-rates, top of the list, is how much money has been made out of peddling endless: publications, recordings, tickets to meetings, etc., on the pretext that these 'optional' materials contain a step-by-step plan necessary for achieving success.

Who knew that sniffing a bit of MLM essential oil could make childbirth so easy?!
Here's my Doterra bot, plumbing new depths.

Not that easy it seems. Mummy Is going to need 'quite a while' to feel better - which is pretty negative compared to some other managers who have messaged from the labour ward.

It's almost realistic. Smile

Patzy85 · 29/02/2016 14:33

This may have been shared before but I thought it was another great indication of how people are really feel about MLM.

My bots all seem to be out in force today, with the goal being recruitment.

Come join my team and see for yourself how you too can change your life for the better.

Love, you still work full-time in Sainsburys!

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 29/02/2016 14:34

Fair point cozie I'm surprised, and obviously VERY disappointed that she wasn't halfway to the NEC for a success day with the surgeon running behind trying to stitch her up....

throwingpebbles · 29/02/2016 14:37

What an image dickie Grin

throwingpebbles · 29/02/2016 14:41

this thread

and this thread

Are interesting too patzy

Btw I did message Netmums and suggest they should reconsider whether they allow the FL general discussion as it was just a means to recruit/ promote FL but they sent me a vague reply about forwarding my message on and that was it. I did try and explain about FL but if anyone else would like to try they are welcome

throwingpebbles · 29/02/2016 14:44

Lol at the "Nobal winning science" claim on the first page of your thread patzy !!!
eyes ignore my last comment you now have full permission to wade in and hurl around words like "cultic racket" and "tragicomic" until even you can't take any more Wink

cozietoesie · 29/02/2016 14:50

I suppose being a Leap year, they have that extra day to improve February's 'figures'? That may account for some of the extra activity. Wink

throwingpebbles · 29/02/2016 14:54

Oooh just read that thread in full patzy interesting contrast between the brainwashed standard defences of the bots and some really coherent argument by others that picks apart the bot-nonsense

Patzy85 · 29/02/2016 15:03

I particularly like the very scripted 'if you think it's a scam, I still get paid' line that's often used as some form of defence. But, as always, they fail to say how much they get paid.

That is because it is a cheque for £28.38 that lands on their doormat after bombarding their friends on Facebook every day with cringey quotes that makes everyone hate them and then hassling everyone that comes within a 1 mile radius for 28 days.

Patzy85 · 29/02/2016 15:14

Throwing - it's funny how all these enthusiastic reps always say how amazing it is before stating that they started 3 weeks ago. I wonder how many are still "loving it"?

Eyespying · 29/02/2016 15:27

throwingpebbles Are you looking for me to give you an excuse to down a few shots of your favourite tipple?

Whatever, I challenge anyone to find more accurate words to describe what actually lurks behind 'MLM.'

throwingpebbles · 29/02/2016 15:29

Just teasing you eyes and I take your point but doubt those terms would go down well on netmums Grin

KatherineMumsnet · 29/02/2016 16:02

Hi all,

Thanks so much for flagging the Farmasi job ad EmzDisco, we absolutely see your point on this.

To clarify, this was added to our Jobs board through the self-serve option. We don't always know in advance what's going to coming up. This being said, we are looking carefully into what safeguards can be put in place to prevent ads from multi-level marketing companies appearing.

cozietoesie · 29/02/2016 16:06

Thanks, Katherine. That was pretty much my reading of the existing guidance. (The self-serve bit.) Glad you're looking into the issue of future facilitation of ads. Smile

lastuseraccount123 · 29/02/2016 16:14

wahoo KatherineMumsnet great news! Grin

http://www.foulentertainment.com/blogs/peer-amid-the-mistruth-the-lies-of-pyramid-schemes

I know this has been shared before but this is for any lurkers/newbies who love a bit of swearing or those people who are currently being targeted by a 'business coach' and have wound up on this thread Smile

cozietoesie · 29/02/2016 16:55

I feel that TV should find some way to incorporate - with the poster's permission/editing as necessary - those chilling posts earlier in the thread by Cubic. I'm not easily perturbed but those 'scripts' were very challenging to read and, I think, might prove beneficial for some of those people who don't seem to really appreciate what manipulation is involved in the 'targeting' of people, particularly new parents or those with vulnerabilities.

CheekySmile · 29/02/2016 17:02

That Nethuns thread also contained this great link

CheekySmile · 29/02/2016 17:03

And thank you KatherineMumsnet that's fab!

Myusername2015 · 29/02/2016 17:26

These threads are incredible guys and especially thanks to creators of botwatch and timeless vie. I've mentioned before I'm a FL inactive bot and I've managed to make three people who were thinking about joining us decide against it by directing them here. Keep up the cracking work!

lastuseraccount123 · 29/02/2016 17:29

cubic are you okay with us using your posts?
