vego I was pressured, whilst having a very ill child into joining Arbonne, told the only way to join was the £1600 option. I tried to cancel within 15 hours but was told it couldn't be cancelled. I wasn't given any help or support once I had joined. I found I was having to spend nearly £100 a month to stay active.

After a few months I stopped and found out after that I had a 14 day cooling off period. As this wasn't given, even though I tried to cancel a few hours later I got a full refund. The girls who signed me up tried to lie, luckily I had proof but it was an awful time.

Unfortunately one of my bots can't make the success day and meet the SCD star. This is what she has to say about it

"Seriously picked a bad one to miss. Mind you, always bad to miss any. Double gutted! Xx"

Obviously if she doesn't get her cc's this month it will be because she can't make it this weekend...

xenu1 · 19/02/2016 13:58

sminkypink (to vegodoll): "But the stats I'd love to see is for the 5000 odd in your downline". Indeed. Younique Team Fabulash(?) share the magic of duplication in the below clip.

You end up with 5k downline, but for them to have your amazing success you'd need 9million IBOs (see comments!).

Vego: If you have 5k downline and they all attend the quarterly £30 SuccessTrainingMotivationalTeamDays every quarter that's £600k pa! That's where the money is, hun. :)

Motorheadmum Truthful and brave, former, temporary contractees of 'MLM' front companies, such as yourself and others on these threads, all confirm the accuracy of my above analysis. At a time of vulnerability, you were lured into a self-perpetuating, closed-market swindle dissimulated as a 'direct selling income opportunity,' and persuaded regularly to hand over your cash in exchange for what is actually an effectively-unsaleable, over-priced investment commodity.

If ever you were called as a witness against 'MLM' racketeers, their attorneys would follow a standard script and attempt to make it appear that you paid £1600, and then gave £100 per month, to the front company, only because you wanted the products to use, not because you were promised a future reward.

Eyespying · 19/02/2016 14:20

Once you understand exactly how 'MLM' rackets function, you also understand why 'MLM' propagandists always constantly repeat certain reality-inverting key-words.

Since the start of the 'Herbalife' investigation, the 'MLM' controlling narrative has been modified to say that all persons formerly known as 'Distributors' and 'Business Owners', were actually just 'Members' and 'Discount Customers' who never expected to make a profit.

Painted into this corner, the ultimate feeble defence of 'MLM' racketeers has become:

If you read the word 'seller' as 'buyer,' then fraud becomes legal.

Each time Vegodoll's posts, he/he is merely confirming the accuracy of my analysis. Despite a mountain of evidence to the contrary, the reality-inverting 'MLM' controlling-narrative now says that few people have ever joined 'MLM Income Opportunities' with the expectation of earning income. The majority have all joined just to buy the products and enjoy camaraderie. Virtually none of them ever go to the meetings.

If you believe the above, then the Chinese State media must have staged this fake 'NuSkin' meeting.

Vegodoll's 'MLM' controlling-narrative is completely at odds with this video clip.

Your experience may well be positive vego, I'm not saying that you are not telling the truth. However unfortunately we have heard some really horrific stories on this thread. We have had people whose family members stole from them, who have been completely cut off by family members or even their entire family for expressing an opinion that was deemed to be 'too negative' about their loss-making business. We have seen people in tens or hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of debt after their MLM involvement. We have seen people who try to leave being sent abusive messages about them and their children.

In this context you can probably see why people have got so angry about it. None of this may be your experience but it appears it is still quite common.

Nu Skin was founded in 1984 in Provo, Utah.[

In the 1990s, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) investigated Nu Skin over complaints of its multilevel marketing practices.[6] In 1992, Nu Skin reached settlements with 5 states which had accused the company of deceptive advertising and overstating the income earned by distributors.[7] In 1994, following an investigation by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the company paid $1 million and signed a consent decree prohibiting it from making deceptive or unsubstantiated claims about its products.[8] In 1997, the company paid an additional $1.5 million to the FTC to settle ongoing allegations of unsubstantiated promotional claims.[9] In January 2014, the Chinese government announced that it was investigating Nu Skin following a People's Daily newspaper report calling it a "suspected illegal pyramid scheme." Nu Skin CEO M. Truman Hunt denied the allegations.[10]

Also in 2012, Citron Research issued a report "stating that Nu Skin's sales model on mainland China, the fastest growing market in direct-selling, amounted to an illegal multi-level marketing scheme."[31] Nu Skin dismissed the claims, calling its sales model in China kosher and stating that it had no plans to change its business model in China.[33] In January 2014, the Chinese government announced that it planned to investigate Nu Skin for allegedly operating an illegal pyramid scheme, causing the company's stock price to plunge. At least one analyst is optimistic about the outcome.[10] Following the investigation, it was announced in March 2014 that the Chinese government would fine Nu Skin for approximately $540,000 dollars due to illegal sales as well as making false product claims.[34]

In February 2014, a securities fraud class action lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the District of Utah against Nu Skin Enterprises, Inc. on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired the common stock of the Company during the period from July 10, 2013 through January 16, 2014.[35]

The Pharmanex LifePak Anti-Aging supplement was tested by ConsumerLab.com, and was reported as failing the overall review due to failing to clearly indicate its total Vitamin A content per FDA requirements.[36]

it really depends if you believe vego or not. I am skeptical. We only have his/her word for it, really.

and no, i don't have to post my financial statments because i'm not recruiting people to work 10 hours a week around the kids earning a full time income.

And no, a CEO is not the same as an MLM upline. Nice try though.

Despite what he/she claims, this isn't Vegodoll's own narrative, it's demonstrably a reality-inverting controlling-narrative being constantly repeated by all the big 'MLM' racketeers (and their propagandists) in order to avoid being held to account.

Faced with the threat of closure, the bosses of 'Herbalife', 'Nuskin', etc., have recently had to claim that virtually all the many of millions of individuals who have been churned through their 'MLM income opportunities down the years,' never expected to earn income.

'Nuskin', 'Herbalife', 'FLP', etc. would have all folded years ago if they hadn't hidden the key-information about the effectively-100% loss/churn rates of their so-called 'income opportunities'. only by maintaining an a monopoly of information, have 'MLM' racketeers been able to keep ensnaring never-ending chains of new ill-informed recruits.
