But yet you're wanting out - to set up this cake shop? I

VegoDoll · 20/02/2016 22:54

Yes, because I would have saved enough and have a sufficient enough residual (until it dries up) to sit and make cakes all day.

Eyespying · 20/02/2016 23:04

Again, I would remind everyone on this thread that excluding an insignificant minority of shills, the overall hidden insolvency/churn-rate for so-call 'NuSkin businesses' has been effectively 100%. Consequently, anyone claiming or implying that it is possible to generate a net-income lawfully from participating in the so-called 'NuSkin MLM Income Opportunity,' is not telling the truth.

WonderousStories · 20/02/2016 23:16

This bot has bought her team a hashtag ..... Is it possible to buy a hashtag? I thought not......

Toobusytowee · 20/02/2016 23:25

Off I go to the hashtag shop to buy #parslaipower to sell to Timeless Vie for a tidy profit.

MrGrumpy01 · 20/02/2016 23:27

I guess the only time would be a trademark and even then I am not sure Tesco would sue everyone who used #everylittlehelps whatever the context.

So maybe a trademark as opposed to a copyright but enforcing it would be nigh on impossible.

Sounds impressive though.

WonderousStories · 20/02/2016 23:27

If I give you a fiver can you get me one toobusytoowee? I think I need a hashtag in my life....

MrGrumpy01 · 20/02/2016 23:28

I am not even sure if Tesco have that trademarked but you catch my drift I hope.

Kanga59 · 20/02/2016 23:39

vegodoll of your over 5,000 down line,

  • how many are consistently active
  • how many less than 3m old
  • how many down liners have u had since u joined in Jan15, who are no longer in the scheme. ie hsve dropped out
sminkypink · 20/02/2016 23:58

Vegodoll: cakemaking - sounds great! Is that what you did pre mlm? Is that a big love of yours? What are your hopes for the future? Will it involve making cakes for fun or will you start a business from it? Will there be other plans?

worcestersauce29 · 21/02/2016 00:05

i suspect that much like mlm the greatcakeoff will soon reach saturation point too

Bananasmel · 21/02/2016 00:15

I think Vego has been sent here to try and convince us that these shitty MLMs....are a good thing.
There is no proof so I do not believe it.

lastuseraccount123 · 21/02/2016 00:26

me neither bananasmel.

I have empathy for her hard work and her exhaustion

but she still hasn't answered our questions, not really, nor provided any evidence. and i'm concerned about her downline - we know it's the downline that mostly loses money.

Anyway, in other news, unlike bots TV FB HAS has been receiving insane numbers of messages in the past 12 hours. Our hard work is paying off, team. the blog is approaching 24,000 views. more people are steppign forward.

Also, TV would like to interview someone who has lost a friend to an MLM. It would be great to have some posts from the friend's point of view - how the friend was before they were sucked in, what changes you saw, where they are now etc. etc.

All anonymous of course. PM TV FB if you're interested.

and go team. we ARE making an impact. Grin proud of us.

Place marking ;-)

chuckingstones · 21/02/2016 00:37

It might just be me, and maybe I don't understand the hierarchy and ways of working of MLMs, but this doesn't seem to add up. From nowhere a year ago (quote down in the gutter) to a 6 figure salary now (and to be honest I earn a 6 figure salary, the last 2 figures are just pence!) with no family, I'm guessing not alot of capital, and only pushing the cheaper products without going all out on social media like other bits do, it just doesn't quite make sense.

Even if I was desperate (and I've been out of work for nearly a year before) I'm not sure I could morally peddle this to anyone I know, knowing that chances are, they'd lose money. I understand that once you're onto the 3rd or 4th generation it all starts to become less personal and knowing that the person losing money isn't a close friend or a friend of a friend is maybe easier to take. But there would always be that nagging feeling about the fact that somewhere in my downline, people would be failing and these are people who possibly couldn't afford to fail.

lastuseraccount123 · 21/02/2016 00:51

melaw ;) my buddy!

VegoDoll · 21/02/2016 00:51

I'm not answering anymore specific questions about my downline. I'm sorry but I've given way more than enough information to out me. If you are genuinely interested, please call the company account managers and they will give you the information you are looking for.

Yes, 13 months ago I would never have thought I could earn what I do but I have busted my ass for it that's for sure. But, I'm not posting my financial information because It's all lies and my upline elite has sent me here "instead of going out there to make him money of course" on a mission to convince you all about the good of the MLM industry. I hope it is clear that I really couldn't care a less what you think about me and my supposed controlling narrative.

sminky I have always loved baking and would love my own cake shop. But this has always been a dream of mine and up until now I would never of considered starting something like that as I never had the money.

To everyone else carry on taking the piss out of "conned vulnerable women", after all you are helping them.

lastuseraccount123 · 21/02/2016 00:53

chuckingstones it's not just you.

lastuseraccount123 · 21/02/2016 00:58

yes we are vego. Just got this PM:

Cheers for the wake up call. You've saved me a lot of time, money and more importantly possibly my relationship. Lord knows how it could have gone if I had stayed xx

you're welcome Grin

OP posts:
VegoDoll · 21/02/2016 01:00

It still doesn't help me to understand why you would take the piss out of people you want to help.

Your welcome.

lastuseraccount123 · 21/02/2016 01:00

anyway, lots more to come on teh blog! with actual screenshots of real PMs. and stuff. stay tuned! #parslaipower

lastuseraccount123 · 21/02/2016 01:01

vego what we're doing is working. We know because people are contacting is. SO you keep telling yourself that we're taking the piss out of them if you want to believe that, but the thing is we're not making money off them are we?

so who is really taking the piss here?

OP posts:
lastuseraccount123 · 21/02/2016 01:02

*us

OP posts:
lastuseraccount123 · 21/02/2016 01:05

not one of them is in my downline.

that's the difference between what you're doing and what we're doing.

they are contacting us of their own volition. THEY WANT TO TELL THEIR STORIES.

I understand you think you are helping them, but from where I stand you are exploiting them.

SARRY.

OP posts:
VegoDoll · 21/02/2016 01:05

You are taking the piss out of them, calling "conned women" eeeking huns and God knows what else. So you are a hypocrite. Please tell the people you "help" that you do this.
