To the ex-bot who has shared her story with TV, you're in good company here. Thank you for sharing your story - I'm sure it will be a great help to others who have been caught up in these dishonest mlm schemes.

Eyespying · 17/02/2016 22:45

Not too long ago, I and various other people who observe 'MLMs' began to be contacted by journalists who wanted our opinion of an Italian company called 'Dexcar.'

'Dexcar' is now predicted to become the next big European-based endless-chain recruitment racket to infect the UK.

Google Translate produces a reasonably understandable version this Italian article which was published today.

news.vice.com/it/article/compagnia-porsche-auto-gratis-390-euro

'Dexcar' victims are initially ensnared with the offer of a brand new car for an impossibly low price.

throwingpebbles · 17/02/2016 22:56

Ooh interesting eyes I could do with a new car

throwingpebbles · 17/02/2016 22:58

BS GrinGrinGrin

My umpteen bots are on royal form this morning.

Hmmmm, forgive me if I take this with a HUGE glug of #parslai to aid my churning stomach at this meme Wink

Also making headlines are ex Pussy cat dolls who apparently are loving Jouve and 'chief youngest most vulnerable bot' (who has a SN child) is #workingaroundthekids #coffeeandbusiness #lifestyle #excited to be hosting her first online training seminar for her newbie bots later today.

After reading all the information on here and seeing the 'we cured autism' video I am SO tempted to say something-not really in my nature to just 'stand idly by'. Torn. Sad Angry

Dexcar may be coming to the UK but we'll be waiting Grin.

Robert Fitzpatrick certainly seems to think it is a pyramid scheme.

Translated "According FitzPatrick is mathematics to bring down the foundations of the system - along with the hopes to get their hands on the car. "You can simply calculate how many new people have to enter the system after you, so that you receive your car," he explains.

"In this case, there is a proportion of one to 42. Then, from the beginning, we know that 42 people will have to 'lose' because one gets the prize. The only way everyone could have a benefit if the total number of participants was 'infinite'. But, of course, it is not. "

Motorheadmum · 18/02/2016 07:50

BS nothing wou,d actually surprise me now! No one has replied to her post yet and I'm surprised that the admin haven't taken it down! Trying to use that site to push an MLM is awful

Eyespying · 18/02/2016 08:13

stopfaffing Robert's technical analysis of the 'Dexcar' racket, is irreffutable, but the same analysis can also be applied to every 'MLM' racket. I was not contacted by the journalist who produced this Italian article, but laughably, I was asked to send 'a simplified written explanation of the Dexcar scheme' to a another journalist, who confessed that he (and his colleagues) couldn't understand it.

The average journalist never seems to consider the obvious explanation that rackets like 'Dexcar' are hidden behind dense walls of mystifying mathematics, and jargon, designed to shut-down ill-informed individuals' critical faculties.

I advised this journalist to ignore all the BS and apply common-sense. I also invited him to read these threads.

MrGrumpy01 · 18/02/2016 10:33

Confuse people by pseudo science

Eyespying · 18/02/2016 11:03

MrGrumpy01 Any so-called 'opportunity to make money' which can't be immediately understood by anyone, is invariably a fraud.

Until recently, most people who had insight of pseudo-economic swindles, had little experience of pseudo-medical swindles, and vice versa.

However, when you combine a Ponzi scheme with a snake oil selling scam, the result is an 'MLM' cultic racket.

All five of these basic red flags (any one of which invariably indicates the presence of pseudo-medical BS) have been fluttering over countless 'MLM' rackets.

sminkypink · 18/02/2016 12:29

that's ridiculous that 'scientific' explanation of cellulite, it's just fat, its nothing to do with toxins, if you had toxins in your body like that, you'd be dead.
According to Wikipedia the 'causes' could be Estrogen, genetics or stress.
All these wraps do is, 'squash it down for a bit.' It's bullshit and you'd get the same effect if you covered yourself in moisturiser and wrapped yourself in clingfilm.

cozietoesie · 18/02/2016 12:40

Are those hard-boiled eggs? Grin

A demand for purity is a classic brainwashing technique, and essentially the same pure vs impure pseudo-medical chapters of the 'MLM' fairy story were peddled by cultic racketeers before clingfilm was invented.

Motorheadmum · 18/02/2016 13:11

These threads are definitely being watched. I notice the aloe bot is claiming that her headaches have got better since she has been doing FL but it may be due to ten fact she has no stress with not working full time or maybe the aloe juice... Before she was saying it was down to the aloe juice...

Gimlet1984 · 18/02/2016 13:24

This video demonstrates pretty clearly how forever is just a pyramid scheme. It doesn't even mention products just recruiting more and more people to join your team. The disclaimer at the end reveals that only 2963 distributors worldwide actually even qualify for the car plan.

RainOhJoyus · 18/02/2016 13:27

In case anyone was interested, this popped up on Facebook.

Gimlet1984 · 18/02/2016 13:36

On the video it does mention product packs but obviously that's because they get the 2cc from each one sold. It doesn't really explain what the packs are though, just that they help people.

Interesting link, looks like Eyes was right Lucy and Abigail are being pushed up to the top as the new stars.

Motorheadmum · 18/02/2016 13:54

Remind me again the difference between business builders and non manager business builders?

Patzy85 · 18/02/2016 13:55

I've seen lots of bots getting excited (prepare for the selfies) about their weekend at FLs Success Express in London.

I take it they're paying for travel, accommodation and the 'privilege' to be there.

Wonder how much it sets them back?

Eyespying · 18/02/2016 14:17

d2w4vlsizebf02.cloudfront.net/a1Jd0000009VLdmEAG%2F145203792450020160101+Co_Policy_E.pdf

This very recent 'FLP' edict is from Canada, but it apparently has also been foisted on British citizens. It contains the arbitrary rules which all contractees of the various 'FLP' front-companies internationally are supposed to adhere to, whether or not these arbitrary rules are illegal, and therefore totally valueless, because they seek to take away the statutory legal rights of 'FLP' contractees in the democratic countries where they reside.

Of particular interest, is page 35, illegal rule 18, subsection 01.

I very much doubt whether any British FL Bot has the slightest idea that they have signed a document which makes it appear that they have agreed to the above illegal rule which is spelled out on another document which they probably never read, and even if they had, they probably couldn't understand.

Motorheadmum · 18/02/2016 14:58

patzy my flbot is beside herself with excitement about the weekend 'conference' too! I am so looking forward to the pictures! Even better was how she told us all today how she gets paid for trying her products!?

sminkypink · 18/02/2016 15:15

I expect they are all setting their alarms so they can get up before they go to bed. Then they will be showing off their 'bought' coffees in the break.
There will be some weeping when certain bots share their 'journey'.
There will be photos in front of a cardboard yacht. There will be cardboard cheques and cardboard #successes. The whole thing is a sham made of cardboard, it's quite apt.
