annie They'll only work with your SIL if she's doing at least her 4cc's. Don't forget it's all about volume mapping too. drawing circles on a piece of paper and showing what you expect your team to do as at the beginning of each month they'll want to know what she' expects to do for that month. (because then her upline can plan what she's doing etc helps her see how close she is to promotions/incentives

Was told the same, it's tough love. Why would they want to help people if theyre not willing to do the minimum expected. They would rather dedicate their time to the committed ones who will help their upline achieve their big fat cheques

I've mentioned before but have suffered with mental health issues in the past and I found the whole thing making it come back again. Aloe certainly wasn't helping 'cure' it and I was just getting more and more stressed about always having to contact people and be thinking about my business. I'm far happier now and surprise surprise I even have more money who would have thought!!

'Lavish the praise, Withdraw the praise', 'Lavish the praise, Withdraw the praise' and so on and so on....

This ring any bells with anyone?

Annie65 · 05/02/2016 14:38

Thanks Ray, Cubic and Patzy, just when I think I cant be shocked at Fl anymore then, I find out more. It really is a disgusting little business to be in.Angry

sminkypink · 05/02/2016 14:40

What Cubic is saying just confirms my suspicions that this whole thing is anti-women. It's disgusting how it makes women treat other women like shit. Really vile.

JB is on Facebook bragging about all the time she has with her new baby, but then lets slip that she has been 'working flexibly' around him so far. He's only 7 weeks old. What is appealing about that sorry?

sminkypink · 05/02/2016 14:57

I'm reading his book at the moment, for 'research' purposes, what a crock of shite that tome is.

visitor post from Worres page: This is February 4. Are you happy with your track record for this year so far? Here's an idea for you: The bottom line in network marketing is how many people you show your business to daily. Aside from learning, personal growth, networking, developing relationships, etc., your check reflects and depends on how many new people actually look at your business each month. One rule of thumb is: 20% of the people you call (or message) will look at your business. Then 20% of them will join your business. So: Figure how many new recruits you want every month. Multiply that by 5. That's how many new people you need to show the business to each month. Divide that by 20 (weekdays). That's how many you need to show your business to a day. Multiply that by 5. That's how many people you need to call per day to invite to look at your business. It must fit your life to be realistic. If you work 40 hours a week, you may have a goal of 1-5 new presentations a day. Family needs come first. But you can find creative ways to blend networking with soccer games, PTA, etc. Whatever your goal, I invite you to write that number in the comments below. When you tell someone your goal, you are much more likely to reach it!

sminkypink · 05/02/2016 15:06

How awful and thoroughly depressing to have to spend every waking minute of your life looking for people to hassle and deceive into this god awful cult show the business to. What a way to spend your life.
I've read a few of the books and watched a lot of trainings, now. The message is the same in all of them.
I totally understand why these people have got to the point now, where they are creeping around stores in shopping malls hassling young mothers.

rayofhope · 05/02/2016 15:08

sminky exactly why I felt miserable

Motorheadmum · 05/02/2016 15:19

Me too sminky and ray the pressure was immense and they were always boasting they've done 6 presentations a day!

that's really illuminating cubic and thank you for sharing

rayofhope · 05/02/2016 15:48

Cubic thanks for sharing why you joined. Not sure if I maybe missed it but what company were you with?

Motorheadmum · 05/02/2016 15:51

cubic that was well said. I git involved in mlm too a few years ago. Luckily I was pretty rubbish at it but can identify with a lot you've said. I got out and luckily had kept everything from the start and managed to get a full refund. I lurked on here for ages before coming out!

I understood that there was far more selling of products involved than there actually is it was. Trying to get others involved was a no starter everyone saw what I couldn't with the products being overpriced. The pressure I was put under to build my team was incredible. My up lines were at best vile and thought I was not putting enough effort in.. I see so many others being sucked into the current mlm's and in some cases I find it heartbreaking as they are in the position I was.

Annie65 · 05/02/2016 15:52

Yes thank you Cubic and all of you that have come out the other side. It is very much appreciated, we cant say it often enough.Grin

Eyespying · 05/02/2016 15:53

CubicZirconiaBossyBabe

What the fuck has god got to do with cosmetics?

Great title for a book!

The whackiest 'Amway' God botherers used to read out transcripts of their daily 'messages from God' to the 'MLM' faithful.

These laughable performances used to be available on Youtube, but then they vanished.

The top shills in 'Amway' were the first to claim that the MLM Business had been given to Messrs DeVos and VanAndel in a revelation sent directly to them by God.

One of the most-overtly 'religious' 'MLM' rackets at the moment, is 'Market America' aka 'Market United Kingdom' aka 'Shop.Com.'

This features a 'Prosperity Gospel Bishop' and a (reformed) Rap star amongst its shills. The Bishop has previously been associated with all manner of completely whacky 'Prosperity preachers.'
