My FL bot has just posted a link to an American article saying that 100 shampoos were found to have cancer causing chemical in and that we need to educate ourselves. Luckily her scalp has cleared up after 5 years of psoriasis by using her clean fl shampoo...

I think DP, sums it up perfectly (I've just read this out to him). 'What a load of bollocks.'
Cubic - I once worked for a conventional company in the USA (not an MLM) who turned out to use deceptive practice. They weren't adverse to employing actors at any trade shows in new markets which they wished to crack, to pretend to place orders, I remember them, it was hilarious, to us. But it created a buzz, the booth was full of, 'customers' and it really did draw people in.
So having top bots who are basically models/puppets/whatever who come with good hair and x factor sob stories. Not surprising really is it?
Nothing like smoke, lights and mirrors.

Do these 'models' usually have family who can be sucketed in, have a sob story to peddle it or family with deep pockets? It's just the expensive things thrown around online - owned by them or not - still needs some funding behind it and if they aren't making the money credit cards don't seem like an option for those at the top. I'm guessing that's the case to give the illusion.

so all their lines 'not working hard enough, not doing enough' to make the feel bad really are meaningless because no matter how hard you work you'll still be at the bottom :(

This helps enormously work out how someone can get all those promotions in under 2 years and give the impression of doing really well when bots at the bottom are the ones working really hard instead.

Does anyone know anything about Natures Sunshine? I have a strong suspicion it is a product of a MLM scheme. A friend on Facebook (a wellness coach) is pushing these products at 'discounted prices'.

cubic this is brilliantly explained, it makes so much sense as to what happens within Arbonne. Some of the top uk arbonnies are in the acting profession as well and they all seem to be high up... Really is starting to show what the truth is

So they are essential ghost distributors. There in name alone to give the illusion of a legitimate distributor and bolster the UK bot numbers.

Criminals do something similar to launder money don't they? Front businesses to hide the real activities. Lies, fraud etc etc

My employer gave my whole department champagne and canapés today after a meeting, and I didn't have to travel to the excel and stay overnight at my own expense to get it - are we supposed to be impressed by a few glasses of wine?

Double tax, 2 tax returns. Probably on a higher tax rate beacuse the partner will in paper have 2 jobs. 2 lots of min orders to place...
