Have you received a letter from HMRC or Concentrix? This is part 8 now. Have you had the dreaded letter demandeing evidence you live alone? Hopefully we can support each other and try and make sense of it all.

Loulabelle try not to read into it too much there doesn't seem to be any pattern with how they work,I would say it's purely down to the fact that no one had even looked at ur docs since scanning, so could be just that u happened to get through to someone who took the time to check everything was there so that it could be passed on. Isn't it terrible the way all of this makes u totally parotid and makes u over think every single thing. Try and keep positive xx

Lovelyname · 15/07/2016 21:52

Lou, how long have they had your documents? I got told the same as you two weeks ago but still
Heard nothing. They have had my docs 12 weeks

Loulabell09 · 15/07/2016 22:46

Lovelyname they have my docs from the 9th June. It's 7 weeks since I received the letter and I got everything sent as soon as I could. I will only give it until next Friday and then phone again as I was told it was with decision makers from tonight and insist on an answer. I have the girls name time of call, and they record the call so can refer back to it. Can't take a whole summer of this crap. If I was u I would call back tomorrow. They told me they were open until 4 and quote what u were told 2 weeks ago x

Shouldstartaprotest16 · 18/07/2016 20:06

Loulabell09 you did exact same as me and went into panic mode after phoning them. I was also told they had everything they needed and it had already gone to decision makers to asses if there was any risk. I spent alnight after feeling sick with worry again, this was last Monday and I have since decided I won't be phoning or thinking about this again until I receive the letter. There really is no point it's just a case of waiting it out and putting it to the back of your mind as hard as I know that is it does help x

I had to provide evidence of my childcare costs. After holding on to my documents for six weeks, Concentrix have now sent them back with a letter saying they will write to me 'soon'. It's not going to be soon, is it? They shouldn't need any more information, but if they do, will they write to me separately?

Mylatestfuckup, don't be scared most of us have been where you are now,as you say you've posted everything they've asked for so now its just a bit of a waiting game now. It's easy to stress about it,and we all have me included. Congratulations on getting your job by the way x

Im now on week 14 and not heard anything. Had my documents back in april and rang over 4 times for an update. I dont know whether to call them again or just leave then until i hear from them

NordicNoirRocks · 25/07/2016 10:33

lovelyname how disheartening. Did you have to provide evidence of childcare costs or living/not living with partner?

Loulabell09 · 25/07/2016 11:47

Lovelyname I just tried ringing there at 11.30 and their systems are down for updates. The guy I spoke to said to ring back at 1 and they would be up and running again. I will phone back as I am sick of waiting for a letter and it's only 9 weeks this weekend for me. Don't know how u have stuck it waiting 14 weeks x

Lovelyname · 25/07/2016 13:07

My letter was for childcare costs. Somedays i feel angry and phone them to chase it and then other days i think oh well leave them to it but i hate having it hanging over me!
Can u let me know if u manage to get through and i might try again this afternoon xx

Loulabell09 · 25/07/2016 13:38

Lovelyname just tried againat 1.30 and they are still down. I will keep trying every hour until they give me an update as I am having one of them days that i can't put it out of my head. Will let u know as soon as I get any info x

Lovelyname · 25/07/2016 13:40

Thank you lou! I have them days often, today im having one of them days were im thinking leave them to it but its always at the back of mind! Its awful Sad xx

Shouldstartaprotest16 · 25/07/2016 14:57

Yep me 2!! Try not to let it burden me but it still does. Tell myself I won't call again but still end up doin it anyway. Have felt down since all this started!! So fed up if it!!

Lovelyname · 25/07/2016 15:16

Shouldstart, how long have u been waiting for x

Blabla85 · 25/07/2016 16:24

I rang so many times , one person told me they could sort it out on the phone but system was down rang back no we can't you just have to wait ! Argh! It now apparently with the desison makers!! How long that will take I don't know! Not even got my documents back or letter to say they received everything ! X

Shouldstartaprotest16 · 25/07/2016 16:51

Been waitin 5 or 6 weeks, not as long as others but already so fed up wiv it. Mine is also with desicion makers and has been for 4 weeks now!! they've told me I shunt b waitin too much longer but won't get my hopes up!!

Lovelyname · 25/07/2016 16:56

Mine has been with the decision makers since May. The man on the phone told me they dont have enough staff to keep up with all of
The documents they are receiving back. Its ridiculous

Kk88 · 25/07/2016 17:47

Well I got my documents back today with a letter to say they'll be in touch "soon" a total of 6 weeks so far since they received my paperwork. Love how we all had a deadline of 4 weeks to run around and get everything to them in time or our money would be stopped and they can take as long as they please to let us know the outcome! Most days I don't think or stress over this anymore. But then I start to make plans oh I'll do the is for the kids birthday or decorate the hall. But then think no you can't as I don't know if there going to try and make me pay back an overpayment! Life is completely on hold and I'm being so carefully with my money it's ruining the summer for me and the kids

Loulabell09 · 25/07/2016 19:29

Well just got through at 7 tonight after phoning every hour today and system was up and running again. The girl I spoke to checked my case and said all she could tell me was it was still queued for decision makers and she said I am not going to tell you a week or two weeks like others are being told as she would be lying, and she had no idea how long it was going to take to get through the backlog. At least she was honest with me. She also said that all payments would continue as normal until decision was made and not to worry as I had sent everything required. Suppose there is no point keeping on phoning as its the same story every time. Kk88 I know what you mean about your life being on hold, it is spoiling my summer with my little one who starts school in September as I am afraid to spend money as I don't know if I will be able to pay bills etc if they stop my payments. So unfair that we are expected to supply all the info within 30 days yet they think it is acceptable to keep people waiting months on a decision

Kk88 · 25/07/2016 20:17

I want to book a holiday for next year would be the first time we've been abroad in 7 yrs! But I don't want to plan anything as it's so up in the air about what will happen

Lovelyname · 25/07/2016 21:01

Thanks lou, i am not going to bother ringing now, i have rang about 7 times in total and keep being told call back next week. I'm just worried my payments by be stopped or significantly reduced in which case i could not afford childcare and would have to give up work and
I would be in a right mess! Just cant help but worry but im going to try and forget about it - easier said than done! X

Jess507 · 26/07/2016 09:35

Hi, I have also had a letter from concentrix regarding childcare costs. I have sent in my paperwork which they confirmed they have received. However when calling for an update they have no record of my case on their system!!!
They tried searching via my postcode, name, case number and national insurance number and still nothing.

Has anyone else had any experience of this before?!

mouseymummy · 26/07/2016 18:51

How long before you've all received your docs back?? I've not had mine back yet and I sent them over 2 weeks ago?

NordicNoirRocks · 26/07/2016 19:14

mousey six weeks for me. I had to provide evidence of my childcare costs. I received my documents two weeks ago, and I've had no further correspondence.
