Thanks darcy I can't really see the point being a ltd company when my income stream is just from me and what I can produce but if I ever get Tracey Eminent famous I might ;) I guess if you have 2 or 3 different streams sticking it under. Ltd company makes some sense. Like the bots with consulting, the MLM and other product income streams. Having it all under FLbot ltd is logical but then when it comes to profit/turnover etc it does make it harder to see what stream is bringing the cash in for us outsiders via comp house when we don't have access to detailed accounts.

I did wonder if it went bust the business assets would be the ones lost not personal assests just because I've know a lot of businesses go bust but owners not suffering iyswim.

Bovnydazzler · 15/01/2016 13:57

It all adds up...
Attendees of the jo'burg global rally are encouraged to come in their country 'uniform'...£35 for a t shirt...

flp.t-spirit.co.uk/product-category/global-rally-johannesburg-2016-uniform/

sminkypink · 15/01/2016 14:00

Thats quite some profit margin....

darceybussell · 15/01/2016 14:04

Betty, yes you're right, with slightly bigger businesses that might well be the case. If the business has a good track record or something to secure the debt against - property for example, the bank might lend to the company without a personal guarantee and therefore you would get protection from the limited liability if it went under. So a legitimate business owner might benefit greatly from this.

bettyberry · 15/01/2016 14:10

Ah yes. So... Question is why do bots do it? If there is no extra benefit from being sole trader to ltd company especially when all patents, logos, trademarks, properties and product recipes are owned by forever not the individual distributor bots there really isn't a point to it , right?

Hmm. It is rather... Intriguing to say the least.

I too have bots or 'bot likers' on my fb……the scary thing is that they all are well educated, successful people. I'm sitting on my hands lol

fastdaytears · 15/01/2016 20:05

clarins it's real! Like measles is real. I just don't think either of them are a good thing.

Run247 · 15/01/2016 22:22

stopfaffing · 15/01/2016 22:24

MrGrumpy01 · 15/01/2016 22:37

MrGrumpy01 · 15/01/2016 22:53

My wrist really hurts from trying it - maybe I need some aloe Grin

Bananasmel · 15/01/2016 23:33

Is that.....a Filoifax ?

Bananasmel · 15/01/2016 23:36

£40 for that shitty yellow bag. ??
I just posted the potato hate meme on Claire Spencer's page.
She is the fakest thing I have had the displeasure of coming across.
Everything alsoso so vague. She doesn't seem to mention the products just reams of crap about mentoring and business and Natalie f**ing Heeley.

sminkypink · 16/01/2016 08:18

Their merch is minging. Especially that yellow bag. Theres a touch of Ryanair to Forever Living, they too expect workers to fork out for their uniform, pay for training etc. And after reading about the great Ryanair scratchcard swindle (go look it up), I think Michael Ryan would do well if he got an MLM. He certainly got the required lack of shame.

BoGrainger · 16/01/2016 09:05

Love THIS bag Grin

You know what I think Claire Spencer is right, I'm really not that different to her after all. This morning I woke up at 8am, had a nice family breakfast and cuddles with DD on sofa now starting to prep a room for decorating, and Claire set her alarm for 4.30am to go to give an inspirational talk. Oh hang on....
