A friend of mine has just been sent a bot video of a younique trying to lure her in.
Creepy stuff.. ...

LadyShirazz · 07/10/2015 16:44

Place marking for later Grin

stopfaffing · 07/10/2015 17:47

ambler thanks for posting that video. I wonder if last would consider posting it on her TV facebook page. Too much, perhaps? Grin

lastuseraccount123 · 07/10/2015 18:51

I'm open. what does everyone think?

Grin (full disclosure, I haven't watched it yet)

mobiusgeek · 07/10/2015 19:28

Wow turns out that the interviewer is Eric himself from Merchants of a Deception. He even spoke about Steve (the interviewee) in his book. Weird putting voices and faces to the names. Again, I have to remind myself that they were real people in the book and not fictional characters!

I think the second video (part2) particularly cuts to the chase.

If you're going to post the video and something about it, there's a potential title in there around 7:10 I think. Also worth putting up the link to his site freedomofmind.com? To help send those (like us) who are concerned for loved ones being sucked in by mlm brainwashing.

I know it's not in the spirit of the timeless vie page to post something relatively serious up there but I guess something of genuine use to there every now and again can't hurt? ...

Ah yes I love how they like to mock real working peoples offices. Ooooh sat in my bed... Its todays 'office'. If feel like just writing 'oh just f-#k off you lazy fl sheep! Just another aloe-ser with a aloe-nly boring life'

Annie65 · 07/10/2015 20:27

One of my flbots was at a xmas meeting a couple of days ago. All the bots had xmas jumpers on. I noticed on the slide board in the background it said, xmas tree in the background, something about mince pies and decorations, then at the bottom, smile, be happy, its Christmas. Ffs all we are going to see on our fbs now till Jan are mad looking Flbots with insanely big cheesey, bright white toothy grins (£5 a tube of non-fluoride toothpaste)selling aloeshit gift ideas all bagged up for us. Looking forward to that.Grin

mobiusgeek · 07/10/2015 20:32

Oh how I will laugh if one of us ends up getting a Christmas gift of aloe shitegoodness. Best get practicing that grateful face, just in case!

TripTrapTripTrapOverTheBridge · 07/10/2015 20:47

See, I thought being an entrepreneur required initiative in the setting up and running of their business.

How does that work with someone recruited into somebody else's business, who keeps getting 'promoted' and can't operate outside of the constraints of the business they independently work for?

TripTrapTripTrapOverTheBridge · 07/10/2015 20:49

Mobius one of the new local reps is offering the use of a free basket of goodies to test for all hen parties at present. So,if you know anyone due to be married they may be convinced to sign up and then attack you at ChristmasGrin

bettyberry · 07/10/2015 21:44

The bit at the top had me... about it being illegal for a promoter/participant to persuade someone to make a payment join the pyramid by promising benefits for getting others to join the team...

If that's right surely the 'promise' on the Forever living UK page that anyone a bot recruits gets a % bonus from their earnings is... illegal? or is this in really really shady area of the law?

TripTrapTripTrapOverTheBridge my bot is promoting the Clean 9 for brides to be. is it a theme? target the brides to be this month?

TripTrapTripTrapOverTheBridge · 07/10/2015 21:55

Probably Betty

The actiderm ones seem to be targeting new mums. Local one I mentioned earlier is desperately trying to push a 'new mum' gift set that she's put together herself. With 3 random products including anti wrinkle cream Hmm. I'm not sure if that's for the mums future or for the newborn Grin

mobiusgeek · 07/10/2015 21:58

Grin that's a new one!! Cocktails, shinnanagans and lathering the stripper in aloe lotions

What next? Baby showers?!

AJFsmummy · 07/10/2015 22:19

There neeeds to be a documentary seriously on this. It would feature undercover moles pretending to take part and pretending to be a bot... Remember the film never been kissed? Drew Barrymore posed as a student? Yep like, the cults ways will be exposed, the pyramid scheme will finally collapse and forever living-a-lie will no longer be Aloe-ver our facebook?!? I'm writing to channel4.........

lastuseraccount123 · 07/10/2015 22:29

i think there should be a documentary about a fake MLM and show how easy it is to suck people in.

Twunk · 07/10/2015 23:46

I've got a bot! Yippee! A Younique one. It's my first.

lastuseraccount123 · 07/10/2015 23:57

oh Twunk! I"m so happy for you.

Twunk · 08/10/2015 07:47

Apparently she keeps adding people to her selling page, they leave and then she adds them again (is that possible?) But then she added me without my permission, not that I plan to leave.

Sadly not being in the uk I'm not a target for the "Hi Hun, I have this amazing opportunity" email Envy

mobiusgeek · 08/10/2015 08:16

You are still prey for them Twunk, these amazing opportunities are 'global' remember... Grin

Twunk · 08/10/2015 11:58

At the moment she is just peddling the spider leg mascara. I await with interest....

lazycoo · 08/10/2015 15:21

Hello! I've had real difficulty posting from my phone so I'm on a desktop at the moment. Sorry for the random posts a few days ago - I was trying to upload pictures but for some reason it didn't work.

Clean 9 can go fuck itself. I'm on day 8 of my juice fast. I have spent £54 on fruit and veg for DH and me and I have so far lost 8lbs. The inevitable downside is that my brain is a little bit melted.

FLbot posted a picture of her DH's foot (gross) covered in eczema (even worse) which has been cured in five days by aloe bee propaganda propolis. Grudgingly impressed. Surely it's a lie though?

AJFsmummy · 08/10/2015 16:16

Oh sweet jesus.......I've had a couple, a real life couple, they look creepy as hell....view my profile on LinkedIn. They look like the infamous "speakman family" and they sell herbalife.....i think I'm going to get a "hi hun" in my inbox any minute.......

mobiusgeek · 08/10/2015 19:09

Another re-package attempt I've seen today Hmm Now it's join my 'business boot camp' and another calls her bots her 'aloe-army'
Confused

mobiusgeek · 08/10/2015 19:27

Oh! And the forever living film crew has been round to the castle today. That's another check list on the 'merchants of deception' comparison list!!

In one of many examples, Amway took loads of its 'emeralds' on a private all expenses paid trip to Disneyland and filmed it to use as 'proof in the pudding' for the average bots. Eric himself was there and admitted in the book that even then he was still broke but later found out everyone else thought he was rich. He thought everyone around him was rich and they were actually probably broke too.. But no one talks about their true numbers to anyone as it is deemed 'negative', and you aren't allowed to question the upline or inform your downline of anything that isn't positive. This is why no one questions the money thing and assumes people all around them are doing well and that 'it must just be them that hasn't got rich yet' but their big money must be just around the corner...
