well, with any luck someone considering joining up might come across this thread before they sign on the dotted line. We may have helped save someone...

CheekySmile · 06/10/2015 17:35

My bot is also paying to promote her FB page. Seriously, who's going to like a FL FB page after seeing it 'promoted'?

Mobius, I really hope so. Im reading Merchants of deception at the moment. Im only at chapter 5 and I know its going to get bad later on. They all use exactly the same training methods, its got me hooked already. Can we have a anti-FL cult please, Im already sucked inGrin #getoutofyourpjsffs

LittleMissStubborn · 06/10/2015 21:17

The TopTen bot charts have been released. What surprises me is the number of husband/wife (et al) teams. I wonder if they were recruited together or the one recruited the other.

I love him dearly but I couldn't work with dh, we'd be divorcing quicker than you could say mlm

mobiusgeek · 06/10/2015 21:27

Prepare to be scared @annie! The levels of deception know no bounds. You have to keep reminding yourself that it is a true story...!

I noticed those league table charts too. Not sure what to make of those. In other news, On her husbands page, some brave soul has asked her whether her castle is bought or rented...

TripTrapTripTrapOverTheBridge · 06/10/2015 21:28

What's that new one doing the rounds with make up photos that show women clearly photoshopped, and body wraps and 'defining gel' - 'defining gel' that, according to the photos, knocks about 5 inches off every body part, changes your skin colour adds bulky veins or completely clears a totally different childs eczema in 12 days? Who falls for this stuff?

Oh and Actiderm seems to be doing the rounds more too now. Local 'jeweller', who previously badly strung plastic beads and called herself a jeweller and jewellery designer Hmm has now given up her hobby business and started on the Actiderm. She's pushing a bargain 'Christmas gift set's she's put together -a few products in a Poundland basket- for only £100. I'm sure they'll be snapped up off the local selling pages.

GriefLeavesItsMark · 06/10/2015 21:41

I've just read the actiderm 'science behind the wraps'. The phase 'complete load of bollocks' ,springs to mind. Can you contact the rep to ask her how the fat gets into the little spaces , It should be funny.

LittleMissStubborn · 06/10/2015 21:56

You can even get a phone case. Grin

bettyberry · 06/10/2015 22:01

GriefLeavesItsMark I think they've been watching too much Dr who and cottoned on to 'Adipose technology' Wink

Mary Kay also has the same mlm model. Lucky that hasn't made it over the pond yet I don't think, but they basically flog the equivalent of Collection 2000 for the price of Chanel Confused

This website is dedicated to exposing the same kind of truths by ex Mkbots who saw the light (including admitting that they had to pretendthe products were prestigious and that they were busy all the time so people thought they were in demand:

www.pinktruth.com/2015/08/14/if-you-have-to-pretend-mary-kay-is-prestigious/

Also this one is by an Ambot's disgruntled wife who was subject to the same stuff as well. She's hilarious in her anger:

marriedtoanambot.blogspot.co.uk/?m=0

Sorry if these links have been posted before. I had them open in my tabs and only just got round to reading them so can't remember how I came across them. It's always the same story though... All confirm our thoughts and findings

Have you also seen the laughable prices of the Forever Living makeup ranges? It's about £17 for a lipgloss with a little light in the lid ... GOSH at super drug had the same packaging and their glosses were about a fiver max

AJFsmummy · 06/10/2015 22:15

£17.00 FOR A TACKY COLOURED LIPGLOSS?!? Have you watched the success days on youtube?! Brainwashing weirdos

mobiusgeek · 07/10/2015 07:01

Actually I was wrong, £17+ for lipsticks, £22+ for the lipgloss!!!! Look at these ridiculous prices... (I don't know this bot, just did a Google search for a shop and this came up)

shop.foreverliving.com/retail/shop/shopping.do?categoryName=Flawless+by+Sonya&task=shopCategory

Also yea, I also saw a vid of an Amway one that was really bad too.. The speakers drone on past the point of audience tiredness but ppl too scared to miss anything so pretty much fall asleep in their seats after a day of cheering and chanting. These are also business trips (I'm guessing they are told to attend so as not to miss any vital information - and they can write off expenses against a non existing net profit) but mostly told not to bring family or kids. So much for luxury hols and precious time with family! Wouldn't surprise me if the whole trips have to be booked directly through some kind of fl agent so all profits go to them. Some may get 'free' trips.. There's no way in hell everyone does though.

Also, those luxury villas abroad etc.. From what I understand , they are fl owned property. Having them for flbots to visit for luxury stays working holidays the bigwigs can launder their money I properly and also write them off as expenses (not 100% sure how that works) Hmm

AJFsmummy · 07/10/2015 07:14

Yep, I wonder how it goes about paying taxes hmm. With all this money they apparently earn....

AJFsmummy · 07/10/2015 07:20

Oh and I have just seen a humdinger of a post.... On my fb page there was a person talking about wwatchers and the JP n FL bots were on it like flies around s#%t! "Try the cleanse9 hun! I'll inbox you my deets!" "hey hun have you tried JP? I lost harve a stone in a week! An I feel lowds betta! Inb me!" hun hun hun! Ugh!

mobiusgeek · 07/10/2015 08:28

Well apparently even the tax man doesn't take mlm seriously enough to warrant auditing joe average distributor... That one was from eye who spoke to someone about it more formally.

Also, cooper 'global' is Limited now so fingers crossed that means we'll get to see some financials. None as yet Hmm

mobiusgeek · 07/10/2015 08:33

Lol AJF .. That must fall under trying to find people in need to innocently show them the products and how they can help them. No, not to sell of course, just recommend! stalk & peddle

AJFsmummy · 07/10/2015 08:45

Oh yes, its all undercover work.

Hmm
mobiusgeek · 07/10/2015 14:56

I live all the different feeble attempts at re-marketing it Grin

I do understand that these people are genuinely trying to make a better life for themselves, something to be admired, but this is not the way. Why can't they see?!

CheekySmile · 07/10/2015 15:13

Love the quotation marks around 'job'.

I wonder what the third stage of growth is. No, actually, I suspect the third stage is the crash when it all collapses in on itself because everyone is connected to an FLbot with just one degree of separation.

OP posts:
ambler21 · 07/10/2015 15:34

After looking at lots of info it seems there are numerous reasons why the word 'job' is highlighted. It seems an essential part of the story to create a phobia of having a job and even the word job. This phobia of twinned with a total fear of failure push normal people to do and say extraordinary things. For anyone with the time and inclination there is a short 3 part YouTube video that mentions this phobia creation m.youtube.com/watch?v=CApMzIX46kw

tribpot · 07/10/2015 15:53

I like the fact there's no definition of the vertical axis. All we know is that in 10 years turnover will be '120' - quid?

Five months to manager doesn't sound that impressive, I thought some people's bots were making 'manager' whatever the hell that is after 6 weeks or something. As it's all fantasy I can't see why you can't start out as manager and progress to Lord Lieutenant or whatever you fancy.

mobiusgeek · 07/10/2015 16:29

Yup. In Merchants of Deception, Eric tells of how they use the work JOB in many different acronyms such as 'just above broke' etc and they have them fear/pity us non-MLMers as we obviously don't know the secret to eternal riches and getting out of the rat race. It's another manipulative tactic to keep them in the game. Will watch the vid later, thanks Ambler

mobiusgeek · 07/10/2015 16:32

A friend of a friend of a friend apparently hit manager in 8weeks, breaking global records to do it in this time. he does seem the type to sell Rip off his own nan or something tho, so I am not suprused if he has shifted a lots of stuff. I don't for a minute believe he is raking it in. He's perfect mlm bait
