I had a wee play with the FL business card

I have another Flbot on my fb, just started, a friend of hers already warned her about it, but shes not having any of it. Will be interesting to compare her to my Sil, see if they do and say the same things. Expecting a message from her any time now, dont usually hear anything from her. Im quite excited by it all, does that make me a "anti-Flbot" lol. I will keep you all posted.

It's just mortifying. I've asked one of our mutual friends about it and she says no matter how many times she declines, she keeps coming back. She was a perfectly normal person before!

Ponty, yes they will keep on asking, they are taught there is no such thing as "no", just "Im not ready yet". They are also told people say "no" 5 times before they say "yes", so be prepared to be pestered. If you ask a lot of questions they dont like they might block you. Im going to have a bit of fun with my Flbot if they dont take "no" as an answer, eg, how can they own their own businesses when they get promoted, surely if you are a business owner you are already a Managing Director. They are all self-employed, just like my son who works for a company, but has to have his own accountant to sort his tax out.

Dont know how Ive managed to survive without the almighty aloe vera after watching this.

Basic chemistry. Iodine based with aloe? Clearly the FL stuff has something that reacts with it whereas the other one doesn't.

I just watched that video. There's quite a few stupid claims there! Another thread here explains that it is one if the preservatives that changes the iodine into a clear substance.

After watching that clip there were 4 more clips there which YouTube thought I might be interested in. One if them is my FLbot! Making bold claims such as "this is good for excema (sp?), you can put this on abrasions and burns..." She goes on and on trying to sound like a pharmacist or doctor. I'm tempted to listen carefully and take note of actual claims and then report to FL's compliance people. I'm sure she's breaking rules.

Agree that the FL stuff contains something which reacts with the iodine.

And fuck me, if ingesting that stuff makes things 'magically' disappear, it will also rid of all those bacteria our bodies need to be able to process foods ACTUALLY!

Has anyone ever watched the film Idiocracy, in which people of the future are so dumbed down by marketing strategies that they don't know why something is good ("but it contains electrolytes"). That film might be lighthearted, but it is exactly what is happening here.
