A letter from concentrix or HMRC part 6

Have you had a letter from concentrix or HRMC about another adult living at your address,letters querying child care etc,please post your experiences on this thread so we can support and help each other.

well.!! i have actually recieved my new award notice for 15/16 today.. dated 26th june.. not bad considering bloke at hmrc last night said cud be upto 8wjs

Hi I received letter last month saying somebody lives with me I live with my mum an dad in there home with my son. I rang the guy I spoke 2 said send in letter from parent with contact number on I did this then got the same letter this wk I rang again was on the fine for 1hr 38 mins the guy this time said they need my bank statements. The day I received my 2nd letter me and my boyfriend were talkin along with my mum an it was decided I would move in with him this weekend comin. I told the bloke on the fone this on Tuesday he stopped my payment on wed and said he would have to close the case on me being a single parent before he can send me a joint claim form out an I was under investigation I feel like I've done something wrong I know I haven't but feel like a criminal! My boyfriend has a good job on a good wage so I won't be claiming tax credits anymore unless circumstances change.

I had letter back in may saying I lived with someone. I sent off all paperwork they requested...by 5th June my payments had stopped. All due to money in my bank account each month which is child maintanance money which I've never not declared. . On back of this my housing benefit got stopped...now over a month on I'm struggling to get kids to school and fed with no money...in major debt after not being able to pay my bills I've sent in a mandatory reconsideration which was signed for on 22nd June and after numerous phone calls getting me no where they still say it's not on there system that they've seen the last appeal letter ...does anyone know how long this is gonna go on for I'm so stressed and struggling I just don't know what else to do?? Help!

Received letter from Concentrix on the 22nd of May saying they had information of another adult living here.
They received my documents on the 28th of May. I telephoned them on the 15th of June was told my documents were scanned in on the 12th and my case was now in a queue and I would received my documents back in a few days.
Phoned on the 22nd was cut off after an 1hr on hold. Phoned again on the 23rd cut off again after an hour on hold.
Phoned HMRC on the 26th of June she couldnt help as it was still with Concentrix but she transferred me over. Got told I should have had my documents back by now and he would refer it to his manager and I would get a phonecall back and my case was still in a queue.. Got no phonecall.
Phoned again on the 29th and got cut off yet again.
Wrote a letter of complaint to HMRC which they received on the 30th of June.
Got my documents sent back recorded delivery on the 4th of July. Received a letter today dated the 2nd of July saying my case was now closed with no amendments.
Don't know if the letter of complaint helped or not. I phoned HMRC today and my final award was completed and sent out on the 6th so hopefully will get it soon.
Hoping I get some compensation for all the phonecalls I was cut off on at over £6 a time it hasnt been cheap to chase up Concentrix which in my opinion shouldnt be dealing with such sensitive information that they hold onto for weeks.

yours is same as mine scottishquine1. i got lettr may sent docs 28th may recievd 29th, scanned on 16th june, hmrc said updated 24th june, got lettr satrday 4/7/ too say no changes or amendments, got award notice today ... i also got my documents back two days ago,, i put complaint in but was because there said had lost my info and also complained about costs but did no good

traceyh thats terrible, there have stoppd others for various reasons, hope you get sortd

Did they acknowledge your complaint letter. I am going to give them a couple of more weeks and then phone them up. Not letting it drop it has cost me a fortune.

no and i even put complaint in over the phone and havent heard anything, i was appalled, was told there returned it the 16th june and there had information(documents)refarding a child i have out if care and statements of funds going in for that child, ss names and too think could have lost them. felt sick to the core

sent it all for proof lived with me and funds recieved too account what goes in bank

Disgusting. I hope you hear from your complaint soon. They have a charter to stick to and Concentrix failed miserably.

Thank you smokie19. .. I am so depressed. Ive just been reading some previous threads on this and its Tottaly disgusting how they are treating people. It's my kids that are suffering. .. just had to tell my 9yr old she couldn't go on her school trip due to costs and it's broke her heart now I'm the worst person in the world

Have you tried phoning HMRC instead? Get yourself down to citizens advice, they might be able to help. So sorry you are going through this.

im appalled the way there treat people, and throwing accusations when dnt give you the proof there supposedly have!! your treat like a criminal,cnt believe there can treat you like this,i wouldnt mind but if there liased with each departments there would have evidence of the child i have, dla have it, child benefit have it, and im suppose ti have another person live with me, i havnt got time for a telationship let alone the energy, im not young anymore lol, only male lives with me and shares my bed is a cat

That's awful tracey5. Have you been to citizens advice. They can sometimes help, they might be able to point you in the right direction. I'm still waiting on decision, sent documents, signed for on 1st June.

Hi where have you all been sending your complaints to? What address or email address have you used? My friend is having a nightmare and i'm trying to suggest things for her to try.

I haven't heard back from them but it did make me feel good telling them how badly Concentrix was being run.

She said up to 11th June now so mine should be on there but can't do anything ! Aaargh

Oh no Jonny how annoying, fingers crossed when you call again syste will be working and you can get your case closed

I rang and got through just before 4pm. Systems down. I got a return call at 5pm. My documents were signed for on 28th May. I got them back 10 days ago. They still haven't looked at it. It's a childcare check. He's passed it to a manager for review and I'll receive a call with a decision by tomorrow x

I tried to ring again today but I got cut off after an hour. I do not have the time or energy to deal with this. Mine is into week 7! I got my documents back June 22nd with the we will contact you soon letter but still no award notice or closure letter. I get paid weekly and did so on Tuesday but I'm buckling under the stress. Too afraid to spend any money or have fun. Morgan, any news? I know you had a similar situation to me. How long after the contact you soon letter did your money stop? What did HMRC say when you rang? When I rang them several weeks ago they just said concentrix were dealing with it. Like I say, 7 payments since this all began. My stuff was signed for June 6th, so over a month since they looked at it. What do you all think?
