I wondered if they have delayed sending award notices out u till after this budget, the award notices normally have what our payments will be in the next tax year before renewals are done maybe they have been waiting for the budget so that they can include information about our payments for next year.
Maybe our awards will start to arrive now

Remember everyone, when you're calculating how much worse off you'll be under the proposed TC changes, you need to note that NMW will increase from £6.50 to £7.20 and the income tax threshold is also increasing.

So for example someone who works 30 hours p/w at NMW and with a child:
NMW will rise to £7.20 from next April, therefore gross income will rise from £10,200 (ish) to £11,300 (ish). With the income tax threshold increase, they will pay the same tax as they currently pay. Thus, in terms of income they will be approx. £1100 better off.

Tax credit changes come into effect at the same time: Under 2015-16 the deduction from the maximum is £1549.80. Under 2016-17 with the new withdrawal limit and taper the deduction would be £3048, thus in terms of Tax Credits alone they will be £1498 worse off

So, once the Income Tax and Tax Credit changes are taken into account, this family would be around £398 worse off per year.

Anyone earning over the Income Tax threshold will not see as much of a dip in their disposable income as those who earn under the threshold, and those earning NMW will also see less of a dip.

Just phoned them again and they confirm my claim was finalised yesterday and it takes 48 hours for payment schedule to b update on system so no one thinks concentrix can get involved again

Fedup123245 · 08/07/2015 19:31

How do people manage to get through can someone confirm the number for concentrix as its always engaged whatever time I call

smokie19 · 08/07/2015 19:35

Chrissy4321 · 08/07/2015 19:38

There's a budget tool on bbc news page. Works out how much worse off your going to be. I'm roughly £25 worse off a week. so better to work it out and make cuts now so we can get prepared :( am I right that if we get a pay rise we will lose more ??

12fedup12 · 08/07/2015 19:42

I am lucky that I am on an annual salary and not paid by the hour & when I have worked out my hourly rate it is higher than the nmw anyway so unless I get I pay increase (very unlikely) my salary won't change

MissE84 · 08/07/2015 19:42

Zolabud81 maybe they might send you a letter again. I think Everytime you change you circumstances you have to send a proof. My manger wants to increase my hours from 16 to 24 but I don't think I can go through this again. Going away next month.
