Congratulations to everyone who has had positive news!!!

I think Morgan's appeal will take 28 days from when they received it, which I believe was some time last week?

AdmiralCLingus · 02/07/2015 23:48

Too slow on my response and I see shes already answered!

babyalan13 · 03/07/2015 07:43

Thanks fed up. Acdc was an experience! Lol long journey to Dublin but!! You must be so glad. My letter came pretty quick from them. But no documents. Hoping my award notice will come soon. Am panicking now about these cuts!!

12fedup12 · 03/07/2015 07:50

Thanks baby I really am relieved, and so glad I spoke to hmrc yesterday who conformed my renewal has finished processing and is finalised!

Not worrying about what the budget brings at the moment I inow there will be cuts but no point stressing at the moment had enough stress over the past month.

Good luck to anyone phoning today, hope to see more good news here x

alexa15 · 03/07/2015 09:40

Im not ringing till next friday..cant deal with the stress! Watching the news last night was harrowing enough ..making the richer rich and the poorer even more poor!

nikkif80 · 03/07/2015 10:07

People still waiting for docs to be returned, mine came back recorded delivery from Royal Mail. They did take 3 weeks to arrive however i had to sign for them.
Has anyone had a card from Royal mail to say theyve attempted your delivery?

Louby76 · 03/07/2015 10:09

There's always something to worry about, just about seeing a light at the end of the tunnel with this (I think!) now budget cuts & yes it will be us that are going to lose out. I work 30 hours & really need to go full time but then I can't afford the extra childcare, I'd be working an extra day for nothing in effect! We will see what it brings! They should be targeting the ones who don't work not the hard working ones struggling to make ends meet. It makes me so cross Angry

zolabud81 · 03/07/2015 10:34

Alexa15 When was your docs signed for and anybody know what date there up to on scanning the post I know on Wednesday they was up to the 5th of june

smokie19 · 03/07/2015 11:00

it is awful how us working will be targeted yet the ones unemployed are not penalised, fair enough there are ones that want too work but theres thise that dont

zolabud81 · 03/07/2015 11:21

Alexa15 mine was signed for on the 8th they was up to the 5th a couple of days have not checked since

People unemployed through no fault of their own should not have targets on their back either, you can't live on JSA payments unless your playing the system and claiming every little thing like a crook and those are the ones that need to be cracked down on. There is plenty of phantom unemployed people that are fudged out by the figures by either doing workfair or training and not counted and people of ESA work group are not counted either nor those on long term high rate Disability. During the last parliament many were forced onto tax credits to again fudge the figures, however the Government fails to realise you can't balance the books on the back of the poor, the sick, the unemployed or working people. In doing so your create recession no matter how you try to play people against each other as a distraction or do your best to dismantle the welfare state. The End Result is mass unemployment.

Anyhow back on topic, 5 weeks and 5 payments since replying and not heard a sausage. I can't find the tracking number although I have receipt for documents I sent signed for first class 1st June, it's got no number on it which is annoying, so don't have anything to give anybody if I rung. Deadline is supposed to be Sunday (not sure how they worked that out!)

Scousejo1967 · 03/07/2015 14:00

The tracking number is normally inthe receipt hon at least you have proof . I'm waiting 8 had to send my bank staters again as I screen printed them ....

MissE84 · 03/07/2015 14:12

I also received a letter from concentrix on 14/5 stating that my payments might be wrong. They asked invoices, bank statements etc etc for 2014-2015. But it stated if these not available a statement stating how much i have paid/ paying per week or monthly. So my child provider confirmed my child's attendance and stated how much I pay per week. So I send that along with those sheets you had to complete not sure if I have done it correct. Documents send on 7/6 and was received on 8/6 but, I haven't heard anything from them. Payments are still going in every friday. It's been 3 weeks now and nothing has come through the post. Waiting is killing me, not sure if I will have an overpayments as they pay me £989 childcare for the whole year and I have paid 1170 for 39 weeks so I was plus 181 pound for the year. I still have an overpayment from 2011 which gets deducted through my tax credits under section 29(4) of the tax credits act 2002. How long did you guys wait for a response? Still feeling scared as the wording on these letters are scary. It's making me feel that I have done something wrong which I haven't. Has anyone had their tax credits stopped based on childcare investigation even if average weekly cost didn't match up?

Scousejo1967 · 03/07/2015 14:25

Concentrix only stop payment if they don't recieve the requested I formation they investigate and either say no change or hand it back to hmrc . They are in a massive backlog. So it's a lottery as to how long

utdfan · 03/07/2015 15:53

They should not be taking from the poor full stop Imo,working or not. Job seekers allowance and esa hardly pay enough to live ,never mind a life of luxury, even though the benefits programs will have everyone believe otherwise so that the cuts seem justified. They are also thinking about making everyone pay some of their rent, how can people do that, pay their bills and eat on 70 odd quid a week?

alexa15 · 03/07/2015 16:56

Zolabud81 ours should go thro bout same time then..my deadline is weds..ill give them a ring then and see what they are saying...let me know if u ring b4

Chrissy4321 · 03/07/2015 17:20

Alexa15 did u ring today ?

Kelly156 · 03/07/2015 18:22

Just thought would give everyone update who's wondering about time scales etc.... Sent off documents recorded delivery on 28th may, signed for 29th may. Deadline 17th June... Reviewed documents back on Monday of this week, and today recieved letter from concetrix saying no changes to award case closed basically. So all in all 5 weeks

Tazz214 · 03/07/2015 19:00

When I spoke to them at half 4 yesterday I was told they are currently working on 8th June.

cazzymog · 03/07/2015 19:47

Mine must have been looked at now then as it was signed for on the 5th. I'll be ringing tomorrow! Is it still an hour holding on? ?!!

12fedup12 · 03/07/2015 19:50

Good luck cazzy I will be check in the morning for any news, I'm sure yours must be done now thought as was signed for same day as mine. Yep when I called on Wednesday was an hour wait!
If you want to call hmrc and ask if your renewal has been finalised yet they don't have any cues xx

Chrissy4321 · 03/07/2015 21:14

I rang tonight at 7.10 didn't get through. Still busy

Morgan97 · 03/07/2015 21:24

Anyone seen a report in the sun newspaper about a company called 38 degrees? trying to get the link up for you

Mel25murf · 03/07/2015 22:06

Not only have I heard of them Morga, I have signed the petition in relation to tax credits. Now is not a time to give up, but to stand united. I am sick of people accepting cuts in the name of austerity for prosperity! Things need to change and we all need to stand together in our masses to show this government that we won't be unheard. We as a nation are a 21st century version of Victorian slum/workhouses! Going backwards not forwards and towards wealth or success, only people with money will ever get that under this government.

If you believe in it, stand up and be counted and sign it!!
