Ahhhh I should have pressed her a bit maybe lol. I had made an entire meal. Scratch and eaten it by The time I got through. It's horrendous all that waiting. I think I was just relieved that they had it and had scanned it all.

The wait on the phone is a joke, I was relived when he said mine was on the system, I didn't think he was going to do it on the phone with me and I didn't ask him to review my case just to check which documents had been uploaded it was only after that he went into my documents and he checked my letter for hours worked, asked me to confirm how many hours I work and closed my case.
I think some people have been told you can request them to look at your case while they are on the phone with you and make a descion there and then.

When i rung i explained i wanted to see if the docs were scanned yet and she said it was and if i wanted tp wait on hold a few mins she could look at it and close it or hang up and she would do it after call so i said id hold, took her about 1 min, she came back and said it was closed and when i asked about renewal she said the system would auto renew at midnight when the system updates and i coluld ring hmrc sat if i wanted to check payments and dates

Efergie sounds like mine he said documents were on waiting to be reviewed I asked him if he could check what was on the system, he didn't put me on hold though just had a look told me what was there, then asked me to confirm the hours in the letter and case closed, took less than a minute.
He told me would process my renewal and I asked if I needed to phone hmrc he said don't need to contact them unless I need to report any changes and that I would get my final award for 14/15 and me new award for this year.

Said letter confirming case closed will be posted today and I will get in a few days

I hope mine is done quickly! I posted all the information required in separate envelopes numbered in a larger enevelope. I.e 1. Bank statements for account 000, 2. Payslips 3. Letter from employer detailing hours worked. So hopefully it was easy for them to scan the info to the system methodically and the person reviewing it will see what they need to see!

The letter I received didn't actually say the case was closed - just said that they were satisfied and that wasn't going to be any changes - so I'm assuming that's the same thing.

I phoned HMRC yet again after my post on here. I don't know what to think as each time I phone I am told something completely different. This time, after speaking to yet another person, I was told that my renewal was being processed and i should receive my award shortly.

I am sure it will be fine Mel, I think do think had you asked them to check documents they would have done your case on the phone this evening,
But suppose it depends who picks the phone maybe some of them aren't authorised to do the checks and close the cases.

I think you letter means the same thing Lyn.
Did hmrc give you a date when the renewal should be processed by? Wonder if it's to do with calling concentrix maybe they closed it but forgot to send it back to hmrc maybe after you called them they forward the case back to hmrc?

Concentrix told me they put a file note on the system which HMRC have access to so it should be instant. One of the people of spoke with did point out that they do have a very large number of people's claims this time of year. Another person did tell me that I should hear something by today however I was today told to leave it a couple of weeks and I should hear something.

I have also been very close to arguing with the automated machine when you phone up and they ask you the security questions. You answer it and it either doesn't hear you or it thinks you said the wrong thing and after several times of doing this it's not funny anymore.

In to clear it up. Dnt remember seeing if anyone had the 6th. Just want it sorted for next Friday. I stop work for holidays and really dnt want this hanging over my time off. It's been hell :(

Try calling them on Saturday to see where they are upto, Zola was told they should be working on 5th and 6th this week, hers was signed on the 8th and they told her to call next Friday

I know exactly how you feel I have had the same worry, stress and anxiety as you!

It is hell just waiting and waiting

I really hope you get good news by the end of this week begin of next, when you call if they tell you your documents are on the system ask them to check them while you are on the phone with them, hopefully them you. An have your cased closed there then like ederoand I did today x

Chrissy just keep chasing them and checking on here for updates but when they tell you yours is on please make sure you ask them to check your documents while your on the phone as they should then be able to close your case

I couldn't have managed without everyone's help and support.
Feels like a weight has been lifted hopefully I will sleep better tonight.
I am going to stay on here to offer support to those of you still going through the nightmare of this.
Hope to see more good news tomorrow.

I didn't ask specifically. Just asked how long it would take to resolve and she said usually 10-14 days they will write. I was just glad they had recieved my documents and didn't think to ask if it was complete and all documents were adequate. I can't think what else I could have sent though really.

Glad to hear the good news ladies. I however have had sweet f a again today. 5 weeks now... I am off tomorrow so am going to ring, not looking forward to the hour wait though!

I am sure yours is fine Mel we had the same check, I know you have had enough of calling them but if you have time and can near it , call in the morning and ask if they can look at what you have sent and if they can close your case while on the phone don't see any reason why they can't xx
