Thank you alexa.
I hope yours is done quickly, when was yours signed for again?

karenfox83 · 01/07/2015 18:29

Reading some posts am.i right thinking the call centre staff you ring are making the decisions once scanned?? They dnt seem very experienced to be able to make those decisions.

alexa15 · 01/07/2015 18:31

Mine was signed for on the 9th x

12fedup12 · 01/07/2015 18:34

Hopefully yours will be within next 2 weeks alexa x

alexa15 · 01/07/2015 18:34

Hopefully x

alexa15 · 01/07/2015 18:35

12fedup12 when should you recive your award notice then?x

12fedup12 · 01/07/2015 18:36

Karen i think it depends on what sort of check your having as to whether they can do it on the phone, the employment checks are straight forward. I think with the childcare checks wouldn't able to as would have to work out the costs.
I think some of the people answering the phones maybe case works as well so depends who answers your call

12fedup12 · 01/07/2015 18:39

Not sure alexa he said he will finish processing my renewal and I will get my final award for last tax year and my new award for this year, I think he said about week but not 100% on that.
He said I will get his descion letter within a few days I think baby got her letter to confirm case closed letter 6 days after.

alexa15 · 01/07/2015 18:41

So they process your renew then? I thought once they had checked employment details they close the case and hmrc continue with renewal and then send your annual awards notice?

12fedup12 · 01/07/2015 18:49

I think that is probably how it works alexa and just think that's how he worded it, the only thing preventing the renewals finishing processing is the checks so once they confirm and close the case the renewals more or less complete and the award notice will come from hmrc. It was just the checks preventing the final award for last year and the new award for this year being sent.

alexa15 · 01/07/2015 18:52

Yes...well what a relief for you..cannot wait for it to be over its such a bloody joke x

Chrissy4321 · 01/07/2015 18:54

Think it's all
Automated 12fedup12. Youl probably see a payment going in before you actually get a letter. Good to see another 2 on here
Sorted. The queue finally seems to be moving in the right direction. God I just hope I sent enough. I couldn't bear having to send something else and wait another 5 weeks x

12fedup12 · 01/07/2015 18:58

I hope so for you alexa it is a joke.

Thank you Chrissy it is a relief, and I think that is automated I think that's what he meant by he will process it

Mel25murf · 01/07/2015 19:21

Just rang them up and my documents were scanned yesterday and was told I'd have to wait for someone to review the documents and write to me! Sounds ominous! They said 10-14 days usually but depends of they are very busy, so fingers crossed it'll be simple.

Mel25murf · 01/07/2015 19:22

Just to clarify regarding renewals. Then day said that HMRC send renewals to them at concentrix so once the information is checked etc... They finalise the renewals too, it's all done at the same time!

utdfan · 01/07/2015 19:25

What date were yours posted Mel ? X

12fedup12 · 01/07/2015 19:27

Thanks for clearing up the process of what happens after case closed Mel x

What was your check again Mel, hope they look at your documents quickly x

Mel25murf · 01/07/2015 19:28

Posted 2nd June, signed for on the 4Th June. I am just glad that they have received them to be honest. Biggest nightmare was thinking they'd lost them and the hassle of trying to get copies of everything again!

12fedup12 · 01/07/2015 19:29

The end is in sight for you too Mel x

Mel25murf · 01/07/2015 19:32

They wanted payslips, bank statements and confirmation of employment hours. Similar to yours I think 12fedup12

Mel25murf · 01/07/2015 19:34

I hope so. I just figured they might have more information, but she didn't really give anything. So I am concerned that others have had decisions over the phone instantly and closed case. Ah well, it'll get resolved in time.

12fedup12 · 01/07/2015 19:34

Was yours employment check Mel, I think it just depends who answers the phone as wheather they can close on phone with you. Try phoning tomorrow and ask them to check your documents are ok and they will more than likely just check you documents and close case x

12fedup12 · 01/07/2015 19:37

I was told my documents were on and waiting to be reviewed when I said can you check my documents are ok he looked at them and said they are fine then asked me to confirm my hours to check they match the letter and closed my case x

Mel25murf · 01/07/2015 19:37

To be honest, I can't be bothered ringing and wasting another hour of my life on the phone. They have recieved the information, that was my concern so I'll just wait for them to sort it out and if I don't hear within 10 days, I will ring then. X
