I spent 1 hour 20 minutes on the phone with Concentrix only to be told that they did in fact close their file on the 7th June and they cannot understand why HMRC cannot see this. They suggested that I wait another couple of weeks and if I haven't heard anything then I should phone HMRC back again.

Just got off the from a man called Darren documents are on and has closed my case without change and is going to process my renewal!

I was also told 2 weeks for my documents to be returned but he is posting a letter today confirming case closed without changes and he is going to finalise my renewal.

Only annoying thing is that it was all done with payslips and a letter from 2013 which changed my contract hours.
So there was no need for me to post off the items I sent first class which aren't on their system (p 60, original contract of employment and a recent letter confirming I still work my hours).
The relief I feel is amazing!
And still glad I asked my payroll section for duplicates of my payslips incase I don't get mine back

Thanks. Won't be holding my breath for anytime soon with the speed they are going haha. Think I have at least another 2 weeks. I will keep reading here for updates ,the good news keeps me positive ????

Thank you ciara I am still shocked! had convinced myself while on hold that it wouldn't be on then he said they are on and waiting to be reviewed so thought ok will have to call again then he looked at my stuff for about 30 seconds and said he was closing my case without changes I so surprised that I got him to confirm it with me twice that the case was closed with no amendments Smile

I've just checked my phone bill and I'm being charged more than £14 from calls last month from just Concentrix and HMRC. I don't know how much I will get charged this month for spending most of the time just being stuck on hold. It's ridiculous. And it's just so talking and repeating yourself to a automated machine when you're trying to get through to HMRC. Whenever I have tried to ask about an update on my renewal (I received the renewal pack in April and renewed it on te 22nd April) I feel interrogated as to whether I have any changes to make. NO! I just want to know what's going on. And when Concentrix say that they closed their file on the 7th June and put a note on the system however HMRC are saying that Concentrix still have not closed their file. I really do not have the strength/energy to phone anymore.

Lyn did you get the letter from concentrix to confirm case closed
Ask hmrc is there a way you can email or fax it to them so they can see in writing your case is closed or ask them to contact concentrix to confirm it

So Happy for babyalan and 12fed up having had good news n cases closed, thanx for posting that they were up to 5th, mine were signed for on the 11th and12th so i think ive got at least another two weeks wait !!, theyve extended my deadline til 10th ,taking kids on holiday on the 18th so hoping that at least they might be scanned on by then,these threads n posts are å god send at least were trying to help each other with any info We get x

Thank you mumdad I am so relived but will never forget the weeks of stress, worry and anxiety I have been through!
I will let you know when I get the letter to confirm case closed without amendment so you have an idea of how long from closing case it takes to get the letter, I will also update when/if I get my documents back!
I am so relived this was over with before the children and I finished for the summer!

I am really hoping you all get good news soon and I know what your going through!

Hi girls, I still haven't heard. I got my weekly payment on Tuesday though. To sum up I posted my docs 22nd May, rang 26th told not received. I got my docs back June 22nd but dated June 6th, nothing since. I am too tired to ring and I'm assuming as I'm still getting paid and my stuff was scanned June 6th, all is well. My young one is back in hospital on Friday and I am so stressed. I know I should ring but last time I just cried. I am exhausted and I am hoping no news is good news. My close date was June 20th, I renewed with HMRC on the phone on May 1st. What do you think ladies? Good news babyalan and fedup, where you at Morgan? You give me strength! x

Sorry to hear you little one is going to hospital, I think to put your mind at rest call them and ask or call hmrc and say you renewed on May 1st and haven't received you award yet and see what they say xxxx
