Hey girls thought I'd start a part 4 before part 3 reaches the limit. Anyone having received a letter from concentric or hrmc telling you they have evidence of you living with another adult please join us with your experiences, comments or support.

Have a good weekend.

Think about everything but this for the weekend.

Consent2trix · 26/06/2015 21:42

Yes admiral I think maybe that is something that we could look into. I'd like to!
I'm another person letter also.
I've just been reading staff reviews on glassdoor.

Consent2trix · 26/06/2015 21:43

Sorry if you can't read it

A letter from concentric part 4!
Consent2trix · 26/06/2015 21:46

FREEDOM OF IMFORMATION ACT!!! From a member of staffs mouth! I had to register and agree in the small print for my phone to be accessed in order to view more than a couple reviews

Consent2trix · 26/06/2015 21:52

This is taking over my life haha, hope you all have a great weekend if possible. I've promised my little monkeys mummy will leave the Internet alone all tomorrow and day after for fun and no tears ????

Morgan97 · 26/06/2015 22:34

It is a farce. And all depends who you get. I have a friend got the "another adult letter" and asking for all relevant info including bank statements. She rang. It was her brother and father. The guy took the details and told her it should be fine and not to bother sending anything . That was in April. She heard nothing else and done nothing. Her payments continued. Flip when I rang they wouldn't even tell me the supposed other adult. And they wonder why we worry. It's different rules every week

Scousejo1967 · 26/06/2015 23:02

Hey Morgan a girl I work with told me today she's just gone to tribunal in similar situation to you. She house shares as I do was 100. % honest with them. She has won and basically it was along the lines of hmrc proving the relationship not her proving she's not. So hang in there lovely x

Consent2trix · 26/06/2015 23:42

That's good, how long did it take for your friend to get to tribunal?

Consent2trix · 26/06/2015 23:44

I've read twice now that it has to before 90 days from the beginning of the case and that is also stated in this contract (which doesn't mean a thing)

Morgan97 · 27/06/2015 08:08

Thank you for that scousejo I just want this nightmare to be over

I really feel for you Morgan, can't begin to imagine how you are feeling!

I am a nervous wreck and my documents haven't been uploaded yet (stupidly phoned again this morning in hope), so can't imagine how you are you have been fighting this battle since March we are hoping this is sorted out real soon.

Sending you and your dd lots of hugs and kisses xxx

12fedup12 · 27/06/2015 10:54

Crazzy have you spoken to them again yet just interested to see what you get told.

I was told that they should be on shortly and that they have got a massive backlog, I don't need to phone again cause I will know when documents are on cause I will get them back the next day (yeah right), he said he could see I had already done my renewal (first one to mention that) and asked did I have any changes, I said no and he said he will tick the box.
I did say I have sent paper renewal back to them as it was mentioned in the letter he said that was ok.
think I will phone next Friday unless anyone else who's documents were also signed for on 5th of gets any other news.

Enjoy the weekend I am going to try my best to block it out (don't think will be able to).

xxx

efergie82 · 27/06/2015 10:55

Well i have a reply from the MP. Can i just say that a letter saying house of commons on it made me poop myself. He thanks me for the letter sent and the points raised in my email and has other compliants apparently so has " written to the treasury minister responible for hmrc Damian Hinds MP" and will reply once he has a reply from him

12fedup12 · 27/06/2015 11:01

Hopefully he will get this looked into, if this is really being caused by the mail room in lancing then hopefully they will get to the bottom of what is happening down.

I have read that they have to have had all cases relating to renewals opened by mid June and can't send any new letters out after that I think that have sent out a mass of letter to ensure they do get them all out before that cut of and that is what has caused this backlog!

Morgan97 · 27/06/2015 11:21

12fedup thank you for that I appreciate the support. Yes it's the hardest thing I've had to deal with to be honest. I'm tired of worrying I'm obsessed with finding different things about it on the Internet and it doesn't get me anywhere fast. I'm going to try not to ring them again I was so angry yesterday when they said oh it's just an automated letter just ignore it,oh I can see you have an appeal on the system and a new claim alongside it but no I can't tell you anything AAAARRRGGGHHH how I kept my voice steady I don't know. Hate this waiting game I can feel the strain every day I hate it and I hate them, they're not just doing their job they're not doing their job properly!!!

Heyaaa everybody, I have today requested many many many questions be answered about how concentrix work, systems used, information sourcing, numbers reaching appeals and tribunals and statistical outcomes of results under the freedom of information act via e-mail, I received a email back within minutes and says I will have a reply within 20 days, but as this does not enlighten me on what concentrix claim to have on me on the systems, so called flagging up which they will not disclose I have also requested a "subject access request", which also applies under the freedom of information act except this is the way to see what information they hold on you, although this will take upto 40 days Hmm I have logged many complaints because they are not sticking to the hmrc charter and breaching contract across the board.
Upon some digging around on the net, I have tribunal results are actually already readily available to view in a few places, and it looks like the cases hardly ever ever get to upper tier, or lower tier tribunal, them flap when it gets close and try to come to agreements with people, and the cases which have actually gone to tribunals they're losing them all, based on the manner of first letters, requesting us to defend ourselves with documents we may not be able to provide and many more reasons all saying they expect evidence of the accusations, not that the appellant hasn't provided enough documents, the basis that they stop claims based on lack of documents is screwing them up, the tribunals are asking how come they are stopping people's claims because of documents? Why aren't the the frozen payments based on evidence you hold instead of what you don't hold.
The timescales are hard to figure out, but this company are poooooo :)
Don't give up, fight them!! Every cloud has a silver lining and the hardest thing about these scare tactics is it is all new to us, so we have no idea of what hell they are capable of, concentrix are moving onto compensation soon too, court fines ect, what the hell have they not dipped thier toes into I'm shocked! It's a financial coup.
