I hope Concentrix are not going to repeat this exercise every year or everytime a parent has a son/daughter applying for something as they get older or if their parents should help out in any way.

Morgan97 · 11/05/2015 08:36

Lyn they will move the goalposts to suit themselves whenever they need to. They change their rules all the time and leave us to pick up the pieces

LynB73 · 11/05/2015 14:44

Well, I did send some things off by recorded delivery on Friday but when I checked on the Royal Mail Track and Trace they had not updated the the information so I have no idea if this has gone missing in the post or if it has been delivered. I know a lot of people send things by special delivery but I was hoping this would be OK. I don't want to phone them to see if they have received this in case they bombard me with questions or ask me to send more information however I don't want to leave it only to discover that they have not received anything. I don't know whether to wait a couple of days and see if anything happens or to resend the copies with a covering note.

Morgan97 · 11/05/2015 14:55

Lyn I always send my stuff to them recorded delivery, normally check the tracking service a couple of days after I've sent things. Just give it a day and check it again. I know what you mean when you don't want to ring in case they bombard you with questions I last rang them when they stopped my claim on 26th march I got in a right state n haven't rang them since. I've sent five letters in as many weeks n they've all been received and signed for but no reply until last Friday when they send me a mandetory reconsideration form asking me to send them evidence I don't have and they know this. Crazy situation to be in.

LynB73 · 11/05/2015 15:24

It is all crazy. Well, I've sent them my decree absolute and letters from the solicitors so if they don't accept that as evidence that I am single then I'm not sure what will. What are you going to do now Morgan97? Have you asked for any help from CAB?

Morgan97 · 11/05/2015 15:31

All the cab have done is recommend me for food parcels,my mp has written to them and they've send me a mandetory reconsideration form, like I've said before they are asking me for evidence they know I don't have so I'm going to resend that, also written on the form they know I don't have what they ask for and I'm not happy with the way I've been treated,I've done all I can to prove I'm single now it's up to them to prove I'm not,I even said if I shared a home with ten people it wouldn't mean I was in a relationship with any of them. I've got to laugh or ill cry. It's awful living like this

AdmiralCLingus · 11/05/2015 16:21

morgan you should write a letter of complaint to them and tell them about all the things about your treatment you're unhappy with.. every letter theyve not acknowledged, every missing bit of information, that the evidence was acceptable last time etc.

currently compiling the war and peace of all complaint letters to them outlining every single gripe i have with them from start to bloody finish.

I've had a mandatory reconsideration form too, and on it theyre requesting bank statements, mortgage statement and utility bills from my ex. I don't know what they weer expecting here but his answer certainly wasnt oh yes I'll let you have all my confidential documents.

I'm really quite angry with the fact theyre requesting 12 months bank statements from me too, as they had three years worth of statements in the first lot of evidence I sent... all with account number and sort code still on them, as well as copies of direct debits to show my rent going to ex's account. None of this stuff got returned to me so who knows where all this confidential documentation is? not only do they have my acc no and sort code, but also ex's and two friends who I have standing orders set up to go to for various things.

If I dont get a satisfactory resolution from the complaints department regarding everything ive pointed out to them then I WILL keep escalating it until it is bloody sorted.

Ex is being an atrocious cunt about it all and telling me not to bother fighting this as i wont win, but what the hell does he expect me to do? just lie down and allow them to call me a liar and plunge myself and HIS CHILD further into poverty?

Kittykat60 · 11/05/2015 16:38

Lyn did you send a years bank statements? I haven't got all the ones they are requesting!
Morgan, can the cab not contact them on your behalf? What's the point in sending you and admiral these forms if they are requesting things you haven't got?? And surely admiral they can't ask for your ex s personal things?? This just gets worse !

Morgan97 · 11/05/2015 17:06

Ooooh Admiral you sound like you're on a mission,I've been writing nearly all day I've filled the form out telling them they already know I don't have what they've asked for etc etc, then started a letter of complaint to go with it. I've had to mess about going to the bank apply for a currant account to transfer what I pay out cos I can't do it from my savings account. Just know this is futile and they won't accept what I'm sending but what can I do I can't let this go I'm getting deeper n deeper into financial difficultys I've told them the truth,I know my situation isn't clear cut but I'm still single I just happen to live in the same house as another adult. He's not happy they will see his details on my statement but they've put me in this position. It's wrong and IS IT LEGAL? KittyKat I was going to my mps local office tomorrow but maybe I should go to the cab first. My eyes ache my stress levels are sky high. I just want my life back to normal. I've reached rock bottom and really don't think I'm strong enough to take much more.

BettyCatKitten · 11/05/2015 17:49

Concentrix are an American Billion Dollar Company that the government are paying to outsource work for HMRC, mainly tax credits, at the moment. They are paid for every claim they manage to stop. They are randomly targeting lone parents claiming tax credits, under the auspices that they are claiming fraudraulently, but without substantial reason. This is going to get a lot worse, especially now DC is in power. Apparently if you don't comply your tax credits will stop.

Kittykat60 · 11/05/2015 18:48

They are paid for every claim they STOP??? Bettycat ? Omg! Is this really true? Doesn't give many of us much hope.

Morgan97 · 11/05/2015 19:21

Knew it Bettycat just had a feeling that money being paid for every claim stopped would be behind this, makes perfect sense to me now, might as well just give up pack my bags n go to the homeless shelter cos without my tax credits I have nothing n no chance of getting anything. So miserable now.

BettyCatKitten · 11/05/2015 19:22

Sorry, it's a nightmareSad

I don't know if those links will work as I'm on my phone.

BettyCatKitten · 11/05/2015 19:26

There is a lot going on people aren't aware of.
This is a free market economy in action, rolling back the state etc...
Public money (our tax) into private hands.
With DC now having a free rein, who knows what the future holds?

Morgan97 · 11/05/2015 20:19

Ill have a look at those links thank you BettyCat wish I had enough money to leave this country cos the rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer for sure.

Kittykat60 · 11/05/2015 20:41

Think we are all screwed for next five years! Even if parents get through this farce , there ll be more crap on the way I'm sure of that. This is only the beginning.

LynB73 · 11/05/2015 21:09

I've just seen a post about the Human Rights Act 1998 being scrapped!

Morgan97 · 11/05/2015 21:16

You can bet your life on that KittyKat and I not suprised Lyn,nothing surprise me anymore. Feeling sad

SpicedGingerTea · 11/05/2015 21:39

Hello, I haven't read the whole thread so sorry if this has already been asked/answered.

I've had a letter saying they think they've paid me too much childcare. So I too have had to provide a year's bank statements, annotate the childcare blah blah,....

However, the letter also says I must submit my tax credits renewal. I've already done this, last week, prior to me receiving this letter.

Do Concentrix need it too, or is it standard wording on the letter?

Thanks.

LynB73 · 11/05/2015 23:24

That's a good question. I'm not sure what to do either. I did phone up Tax Credits about my renewal last month (before I received the letter from Concentrix) and they never said anything about all of this so I was shocked when I received this. I did phone up Tax Credits the other day and I did ask them about the renewal and they reassured me that I had renewed with them although everything is on hold until Concentrix look into this. Still though the wording of their letter does make it sound as though I have to send them the information regarding my tax return (or renew online). Really stressed out with all of this happening.

Kittykat60 · 12/05/2015 07:41

Lynn73..... I see you sent your information on Friday? Did you send everything they requested? Just I haven't got everything and am running out of time now and really stressing!!

Morgan97 · 12/05/2015 08:30

kittyKat just ring n tell them you would like more time can't hurt to ask can it.TrickyTree I'd give then a ring too if anyone isn't sure of what they write to you then ring them, mind you they certainly don't make things easy, they haven't a clue what they're doing half the time.

Waggledanse · 12/05/2015 18:59

I got one of these letters two years ago but was a compliance check and really scary wording. I have 3 children in full time childcare and they wanted bank statements before and after childcare was arranged. Childcare contracts, my p60 all invoices that I didn't have as I pay her weekly in cash. However she printed some out. Along with childcare contracts. To be honest I could of done this myself on my computer. However after a month of pure panic they send a letter saying nothing would change.
Now I've got a childcare cost one from the same company as you guys. They only want to see payments. So my childminder has given me a statement on one sheet of paper. Again this looks something anyone could print out and do themselves. Why don't they just call the childcare providers instead. Surely that will verify any information. They didn't call her last time. I sent my statement today. Along with her details.
I too, have to complete my renewal with them and havnt even recieved the pack yet. Will do that tomorrow. Even though all was ok before, I'm still worried. If they have any doubt and stop my payments then I can't pay my child minder, I cant work and I wouldn't be able to pay my mortgage. I hate living like this.
Very surprised I haven't had the living with someone yet!! I'm preparing for that trick next time ha ha x

LynB73 · 12/05/2015 21:11

Kittykat60 I didn't have everything. I did phone up and I did speak with someone who sounded really nice on the phone and I explained. I didn't send the mortgage statements as these are in joint names still and would not prove anything. I can't find my bank statements so explained this and I do not know where all the utility bills/letters are as I usually sort this out online (and one of these is still in my ex's name) however I said I can do a printout and send this off to them which the person I spoke with said that sounds OK. I have sent my decree absolute, letters from the solicitors, council tax bills (which shows that I receive single occupancy discount), and this printout. When I phoned them up I was told that it was because my ex was known to live at this address beforehand so all the things I have sent should be sufficient. I sent these off on Friday by recorded delivery however royal mail track and trace still hasn't been updated to show whether or not this has been delivered and I am getting worried.

zoeytyreese · 13/05/2015 10:37

Lyn I also received the letter and sent all documents etc back on Thursday 1st recorded but still not showing as signed for
