Morgan97 just read the thread you started. Wow there's some self righteous stroppy mares on it isn't there. That's half the problem, maybe they work for concentrix eh

Morgan97 · 04/05/2015 11:20

Ha ha mimz stroppy mares is polite, they probably Tory twats anyway ( scuse language again) narrow minded clever cows really annoy me,yes KittyKat so called ladies ( er hem) on that new thread walk in our shoes for a day, choose between loo roll or bread,go ask CAB for a food parcel n wonder what the hell you do with a jar of bamboo shoots (yes really) don't they just piss you off with their snide comments

Kittykat60 · 04/05/2015 11:32

They are probably sat in their posh little houses with their 2.4 children n a few cars on their driveway , sorry I know that sounds a bit prejudiced but FFs talk about having no sympathy for others, I like to remind myself of karma on these occasions

mimz87 · 04/05/2015 12:42

Anyway if they took the time to read this thread they'd realise that the majority ARE entitled to child or wtc through circumstances which are no fault of their own and this is more about being accused of having evidence to show you're living with someone (as my letter also states) when i've for eg have been single and financially independent since 2005!!!

Morgan97 · 04/05/2015 12:49

Ha ha KittyKat my thoughts exactly n mimz it's sposed to be innocent til proven guilty it should be up to tax credits to prove I'm in a relationship not me having to prove I'm single. Tax credits say there's associations to say another adult lives at the same address well of course there would be associations with him he owns the bloody house,I've never hidden the fact I share a house with another adult. What dickheads they are. The people on the other thread are a prime example of Tory idiots,no sympathy cos they're alright maybe I should invite some of them to walk in our shoes.....oh I've already done that... No response there ha

AdmiralCLingus · 05/05/2015 09:36

Yep my money was stopped too... me and dd are left with £2 a day to live on, and that has to get me to work three days a week too... oh wait so that leaves us nothing then. Sick of having to worry about what my daughter is going to eat. I dont care about me, I can go without but shes 3 ffs, and shes really starting to pick up on my stress too. Its affecting me at work, as lovely as my manager is, I think my panic attacks are starting to wear a bit thin!!! They just dont understand the devastating implications of what they have done!!!

Kittykat60 · 05/05/2015 12:55

What reasons did they give admiral? God there seems to be more and more where people's were stopped, I bet you are in a right state admiral. I don't know how you n Morgan are coping

Kittykat60 · 05/05/2015 17:22

Been doing a bit of digging there are a few posts on consumer action group re concentrix letters, someone on there who has worked in government body had bit of a conflab with them n upshot of what they were told is , it's down to credit reference agencies, they don't have the capacity to go into any data bases to check any other details but they are very black and white if you happen to house share, they presume you must be in a relationship , there are many more out there having their tax credits cut because of this. What a disgrace!

Morgan97 · 05/05/2015 20:44

Blimey KittyKat that's absolutely disgusting how can they just assume without knowing the situation. Like admiral I'm having to cope cause I have no choice I put a smiley face on for my dd and for work then cry when I'm alone. It's a desperate situation to be in I've actually gone into a shop with a fivers worth of coppers n even then I had to put something back. We've had that many meals of pasta n rice I'm beginning to think I'm a celeb in the jungle. Loving the support on this forum well on this thread anyway ha. All gone quiet on there since i made the comment of walking in my shoes. You have to laugh don't you

Kittykat60 · 05/05/2015 21:51

It's ridiculous, there was a post that was from a tax credit manual basically saying just because a person shares a home it doesn't necessarily mean they are a couple and should be claiming jointly, I think this concentrix is making the rules up as they go along. It's a disgrace parents in 2015 are suffering and obviously their children through this farce. I did think the other thread was turning into another area when "you won't have long left to claim tax credits" was mentioned. So just because we left school earlier it makes it easier to bear does it?
I hope you get answers soon Morgan and all the other mums who have been put in this dreadful situation

Morgan97 · 05/05/2015 22:09

I hope I get answers soon too KittyKat,I read on a site called tax credit casualties that just because you share a house doesn't mean you're partners.yes they're changing the rules constantly. On that other thread I was accused of having a teenager n wouldn't be entitled to tax credits for much longer! How rude, why should I have to explain how old I am? Tax credits are a bunch of lazy rude incompetent liars they don't care about me or my child. Anger spurns me on I owe it to my dd not to give up and fight this all the way. Another letter sent to tax credits today that makes five in as many weeks and still no reply!!!

mimz87 · 05/05/2015 23:56

Hi Morgan And kittykat well I posted my stuff off today. £7.25 it cost me in postage!!! Not being funny but as u both understand I literally had to put off buying some lunch stuff for my dds packed lunch to pay for it. Gonna ring them tomorrow to give them a bollocking about it and ask how I'm gonna get my money back for that!! (I'm not stupid I know they won't pay it) but it might make me feel better! Here goes nothing then. From what I understand not likely to hear from them for weeks so I won't hold my breath eh!

mimz87 · 05/05/2015 23:59

And Morgan don't stress over the dickheads that made those remarks to u on the other thread. I decided not to comment cos I'd of got too angry and wouldn't be able to knock em out if I don't know who they r eh lol

Kittykat60 · 06/05/2015 06:55

Lol minz , I know what you mean on the other thread. God it ain't cheap this postage mind. I haven't decided what to send tbh, have you sent everything mimz n did you block out any transactions that were personal ?

Morgan97 · 06/05/2015 07:35

I'm not stressing over them mimz it actually took my mind off things for a while ha ha. Yes don't hold your breath for a reply they received all my stuff on the 12th feb, stopped my working n child tax credits on 26th march, sent me a letter telling me they'd been stopped two weeks later, errrrmm yes I did notice. Now five weeks and five letters later NOTHING!! I've sent each letter recorded delivery paid for with 2ps n 1ps oh the embarrassment but needs must. Well I'm off to work today with a fake smile on god my cheeks will be aching by the time I finish ha ha

AdmiralCLingus · 06/05/2015 09:18

Their excuse is that I didn't provide enough evidence. See, I still live with my ex as I just cant afford to move out.
I sent them my tenancy agreement, bank statements, our family maintainece agreement, copies of my direct debits showing my rent, photos of separate bedroom, and a letter from me saying exactly what the situation was and the fact he pays nothing for his child.

Apparently they won't accept the maintenance agreement because it wasn't done by a solicitor, yet the government website says no one else has to be involved if we can agree ourselves!

THEY were the ones who told me I had to make a single claim in the first place!!!

mimz87 · 06/05/2015 10:58

Kittykat60 no I didn't block anything out thought that'd look too suspicious but I only sent 3 months worth and I did leave out whole pages That had money going in from various for the kids for Xmas problem I have is I spend a pound every sat ona football bet and sometimes I actually win lol. So now and again there's cash going in from that. Dya reckon they'd believe me!!! Go with what your head tells u though honey. If there's personal transactions from family members u could write a covering letter stating they requested their account details not passed on to ANY third party

Kittykat60 · 06/05/2015 15:29

I thought maintenance payments had nothing to do with any tax credits and lots of people make their own arrangements anyway admiral.
I don't think it matters minz what the hell we send, it's up to them how they are going to interpret things. Unbelievably stressed... !

AdmiralCLingus · 06/05/2015 16:20

I'm terrified of what will happen at the end of this month when my medication runs out. I can't afford to pay the £8.20 charge.... That's almost an entire weeks budget! What happens to me when I've got no more? I'm already struggling to do my job from the crushing anxiety this is all causing, how will I manage without those tablets?

They're such arseholes. How the hell can they make a judgement on my life when they won't even come and see how I live? I HATE living with him, I hate him, he's a vile disgusting waste of oxygen, and if I had a CHOICE I wouldn't be here!!!

I'm scared to even ask him to buy his daughter some food in case they jump to even more conclusions and penalise me further. I'd love to know how they expect me to pay back £6000 when I've barely got £15 a week to live on as it is!!!!

Morgan97 · 06/05/2015 19:50

Like I've said before, they change things all the time, what I sent in 2012 was sufficient what I sent this year wasn't but it was the same except for the dates obviously.they don't care about us and our children,or how we are going to manage. I don't think they count maintenance I'm pretty sure if you will out the online form for turn to us I think there's a section there that says its not included but then again that may have changed. Mums like me and admiral have had our tax credits stopped at the press of a button don't they think what happens to us now. Absolutely DISGUSTING.

Kittykat60 · 06/05/2015 20:32

I think we need to try and do something to bring this into the spotlight? I'm u for helping to do that, does anyone know anything about the bbc man that was mentioned in this thread? I wonder how we could organise some sort of petition about the faults and wrong doings about this and how all these children and parents are being affected. Has anyone got any ideas? Wish we could organise a bloody rally on number 10!

Morgan97 · 06/05/2015 20:40

KittyKat I mentioned something about sorting a petition out earlier on this thread even before they stopped my tax credits,I'm not sure where to start though. I just can't sit back and let this keep happening to me,I go to work to show my dd its better that sat on my bum all day n I can hold my head up high but this is crucifying me financially I don't know which way to turn and I'm getting deeper and deeper into debt it's awful and demoralising

Kittykat60 · 06/05/2015 22:51

What about the bbc guy ? Do you think he could point us in the right direction? I'm Adamant something should be done Morgan

maidofkent24 · 06/05/2015 23:11

I've sent a letter of complaint to both Concentrix at Lancing & HMRC at Preston. I sent my paperwork to them in January, over 3 months ago & it seems they have lost it. It's a waste of time keep phoning, they just say it's in the post & will be with me soon, which clearly is not the case. I did eventually get a Royal Mail tracking number from them but this says the parcel has gone to Worthing, nowhere near me. Whether that is my paperwork or somebody elses, who knows, it's a complete mess & no-one is at all concerned enough to sort it out.

LynB73 · 06/05/2015 23:13

I just received a letter yesterday and I am absolutey sick with worry and feel very shaky. My ex husband left over 2 years ago. Since he left I have had several meetings, form fillings, endless phone calls and now this asking for me to send all this personal information. I do not have any other adults living with me however unfortunately as my ex lives abroad the solicitor is still in the process of transferring the house into my sole name so the mortgage still shows my ex as owning the house. I have spoken to someone regarding this and was told to write a letter explaining the mortgage however I cannot address the letter to her and I do not know if the person looking at information I have to send will accept this. Feeling sick with worry.
