Still waiting to hear - sent off birth certificates last week - let's hope they don't get lost. Still struggling to understand why I need to prove a family relationship which I put on record 10+ years ago when originally applying for tax credits. Like Nicola196847 I'm not even receiving anything any more. Will be very glad when this is all over.

Katy69 · 06/03/2015 19:25

Birth certificates. Why on earth ? What does that prove ?

Pinkkk32 · 06/03/2015 19:44

Yes it was on the list of the second letter I received today along with any other evidence that your single! Like what exactly? I told them on the phone that I have a private arrangements and he pays for his kids directly which is what I would rather have then be involved with him money wise. Anyway I'll send the statements off see what they come up with x

Katy69 · 07/03/2015 10:08

Kids maintenece money is nothing to do with them !!

cowshindtail · 07/03/2015 10:22

I have had my letter of complaint to Concentrix returned by them today with the standard we are returning your documents and we will be writing to you shortly about your tax credits claim letter. Very unimpressed. I'll have to see whether the MP or HMRC come up with anything or whether they are all just going to fob me off.

Katy69 · 07/03/2015 10:54

It's ridiculous how they are making people wait so long for an answer . Yet the give us a deadline to send evidence . It's been nearly a month for me.

Minnie1981 · 07/03/2015 11:33

I too received one of these letters dated 7th Feb, I phoned up and was asked to just send a couple of the things that they listed on the letter, I sent my Tenancy agreement, all utility bills, council tax, phone bills, credit cards statement and 3 months of bank statements

I was panicking because my ex pays me child maintenance monthly (mutual agreement) through online banking and he also contributes towards my children's tv/Internet package, I was dreading them thinking these were payments off him contributing to my house so I also got my ex to get me some letters with his address on to which I also sent with mine, i gave them dental bills, car insurance and drivers licence.

My letter was signed for on the 25th Feb and this morning at 9am TNT delivered a letter (dating 27th feb) saying 'I have reviewed the information you gave us and do not need to amend your award' thank god for that!.... Then at 10am this morning Royal Mail returned all my information I sent, it was sent recorded but postie just shoved it through the letter box, this letter was also dated 27th feb so it looks like they dealt with mine in 2 days but it's took forever to get here.

My Ex does have some things still linked to my address like his bank and credit card so I'm glad this has happened to me in a way because he has seen how much worry this has caused me so it's finally give him a kick up the backside to go and update his new address on these bills, It sounds like they could be dealing with these quickly but there taking forever to send the replies back in the post so if anyone has been waiting for more than 2 weeks keep phoning them up, hope you's all get it sorted soon.

Katy69 · 07/03/2015 12:10

I have just tried to call . Waited 15 minutes.does anybody know if this is a freephone number ? I used skype just to be on safe side

Katy69 · 07/03/2015 12:11

I hung up after 15 minutes

Minnie1981 · 07/03/2015 13:16

Do you mean the 0345 number? This is classed the same as a 01 phone number and 02 so if you get free calls to house numbers then 03 should be included but I would check with your telephone provider.

I have seen some people say they've not been able to get through on there number for ages, I rang on a weekday in the morning and I got through within 10 mins, think it just depends when you call them and I can imagine Saturday's would be very busy, try ringing back Monday morning but very early, hope you get it sorted soon.

Katy69 · 07/03/2015 14:01

Yes it's the 0345 number . My 01 and 02 numbers are free so you probably right , I'll check with my provider . I hate having to wait up on a sunday night to see if paymenst have went in . Silly really but it's been 3 and a bit weeks now since I got my documents back and haven't had a peep from them . Can't get through. Sick of listenening to that tune they put on. . It's a joke . Surely they have to write and tell you if your paymenst are to change or stop .

Minnie1981 · 07/03/2015 15:17

It's not silly, I know how your feeling, I dreaded the postman coming everyday and even when the 'brown envelope arrived this morning I was frightened to open it! I suffered from post natal depression after having my daughter 3 years ago and now suffer with anxiety so this really had me in a mess, the waiting is horrible... Especially when it's ok for them to demand your information back by a certain date.

I have read somewhere (don't know if it's on here) that they did stop a woman's claim, she was living with a lodger and they both had a joint account to pay bills, they sent her a letter telling her ahe would have to make a joint claim! But I don't think she mentioned about her payments stopping, I think she got a letter first so try and not panic (it's hard I know) and get yourself to bed early on Sunday night! :)

I've just seen on my letter that the opening times to ring them are from 8am on Monday, if you can, try and ring up at that time, hopefully it won't be busy. Good luck.

Pinkkk32 · 07/03/2015 15:37

They said on the first letter is they didn't receive my documents by the 12th Feb my payments will stop. I sent the documents after this date as I'm not well and off sick at work at the moment so was hard to get them all together in time. My payments didn't stop. I do think they have to tell you if they are going to stop.

YouPooPooBumBum · 07/03/2015 15:37

Funny how Concentrix managed a vague statement on here but didn't come back to actually answer questions or help anyone Hmm

Katy69 · 07/03/2015 15:39

Thanks Minnie1981. . I worry over nothing ;)) I'll ring on monday .

Morgan97 · 07/03/2015 21:01

Hunnybunn I think we're all confused about this and to be honest I don't think Concentrix or HRMC haven't a clue what they're doing, when I got my letter I thought I was the only one, obviously not you're not on your own being confused and worried what makes me laugh though is we have to send our documents in by a certain date but they take their time sending our stuff back to us leaving us worrying and losing sleep making me cross now ??

Limes61 · 08/03/2015 11:37

I got my documents back and a separate letter yesterday saying they have completed their check and do not need to amend anything. Original letter was dated 9th Feb, received it on 13th Feb, I sent documents and they were signed for on 20th Feb. Decision letter was dated 2nd March, I received it 7th March. Originally they accused me of having a partner who I found out in a phone call to them was my landlord. They asked for everything on letter but I only sent my tenancy agreement, rent book, council tax bill, housing benefit letter and provided them with my landlords address. This thread helped me so much to deal with the worry of it all and to have the balls to stand up for myself and not be threatened to provide information that was irrelevant. So thanks all that have posted on here, the support is invaluable.

Ed1982 · 08/03/2015 12:33

I have also received a letter from concentrix stating that they think my childcare payments are wrong! I'm so worried, I have spoken to my childminder who has said she will write me a letter with a break down of details they are asking for. has anyone else's childcare provider done this for them? Do they contact the childminder to check? As mine is going to be off sick for 4 weeks as of the 25th March which is also my deadline date. I'm worried due to the fact that if they do try to contact her she will not able to confirm due to been ill, even though she has wrote a full statement of payments etc and they will stop my payments! Arrggghhh! Also does anyone have the return address for Concentrix? I threw my envelope away.

Katy69 · 08/03/2015 13:03

When I hear of people getting answers back quicker than me I cant help feeling anxious. . My documents got back to me 17th February., they received them 11th Surely i should be hearing soon no ? Anybody been waiting longer than 4 weeks for answer

Karo3161 · 08/03/2015 13:41

Please try not to worry it may well be they have replied and the letter has been lost, not sent yet, stuck in the pile of work of someone who has gone off sick - the one thing we can be certain of with Concentrix is they are far from organised. I get the impression of a company that is under resourced with staff who receive very little training (and probably less pay) being berated daily to achieve targets that are 'non negotiable' - they probably have high absence levels and staff turnover. I got a reply quite quickly however it was just another letter saying the same thing as the first one - only managed to get the next step forward by ringing them. The only thing you can do is keep trying to get through on the 'phone and hope you get someone at the other end who is helpful.

Katy69 · 08/03/2015 14:03

I'm just worried my payments won't go in for some reason .

Ive got a letter asking for original documents from my childminder - who had an emergency triple bypass on Thursday and is still in ICU!! Ive got the grand total of 7 days to get the information to them in the envelope that they haven't enclosed, and I'm to use a leaflet that they haven't provided to help me fill the form in! Have been so anxious all weekend about it, even though I haven't done anything wrong. Well I hope I haven't anyway :( As if I wasn't stressed enough about trying to rearrange childcare, and worrying that my CM is going to be ok

cowshindtail · 08/03/2015 21:53

Ed1982 Concentrix's address is Concentrix on behalf of HMRC,P O Box 4949,Lancing BN11 9YS.
