Are you not on benefits? For food there should be some sort of family centre in your area that could help. Why did they refuse you?
Is this an exceptionally bad week or are you always short of cash? When do you next get child benefit?

Becky198324 · 19/04/2012 10:54

hathorkicksass · 19/04/2012 11:11

can you get a crisis loan?

Is there a church you could ask for help?

Have you no family or friends who could help?

Dropdeadfred · 19/04/2012 11:14

Which city or town do you live in?

mumblechum1 · 19/04/2012 11:17

www.trusselltrust.org/foodbank-projects

These food banks are in most towns these days. Give them a call.

So what you actually want is someone from here to help you and give you money? Hard cash?

Where abouts in Birmingham are you? What reasons have they turned down a crisis loan?
Have you looked at ebay for clothes, charity shops?

What food do you have in your cupboards maybe we could help with meal plans.

AgentProvocateur · 19/04/2012 11:25

I don't think anyone here will give you money, but if you tell us what you have in your cupboards, I'm sure we could give you some ideas of what to make. How old are your children and when do you next get money?

mrspnut · 19/04/2012 11:26

Contact your local social services, tell them you have no food for your children and they can either give you vouchers or put you in touch with a charity that will help.

Lilyloo · 19/04/2012 11:26

A loan from a payday lender really won't help in the long run. If you have been turned down by these it is unlikely you would get a loan from anyone .

hathorkicksass · 19/04/2012 11:27

Have you been in touch with Social Services? What did they say?

ShirtyKnot · 19/04/2012 11:27

Contact Social Services and tell them you can't afford to feed your children.

Dropdeadfred · 19/04/2012 11:43

If you are on benefits do you get your cb weekly?
