Thanks for all the thoughts. I am home after mastectomy and failed reconstruction , so feeling a little sorry for myself, but I am on the mend and will look at different reconstruction in 6 months ish

Korma, I didn't get any emails, so apologies for not getting back to you. I'll check my junk box; they've probably been redirected. I must put a watch on this thread as I seem to keep missing new messages (doh!)

Sad to so, no books have arrived yet but then I guess it could be Monday before they get here? I'll post online to advise as soon as they're through. I'd just finished a book this morning, so won't start the next one til the new ones arrive...That way I won't have to 'juggle' books (something I can do, but I do concentrate better when I focus on one at a time )

I'll make do with the trashy mags DH always gets me on Mums Day - Reveal and Now or something equally low-brow. I won't buy them but DH knows they are a guilty pleasure at the hairdressers and such

Dont worry about me - I am over my self-indulgent winge

Get my stiches out in about a week and then maybe some pretend norks

Whay I am finding hard is dressing. I have gone from a GG to a flat chest and all my tops are cross overs or ones with the hem thing under the breat line

Although DH went out and got me some blue leggings and a grey tunic thing with electric on the bottom for mothers day - very trendy and not al all my ususal style. I feel a bit mutton as lamby, but he says I look fab as do the boys. Oh and they got me a lola rose butterfly pendant and choc buttons too - so I am happy mummy.

I still don't have any books yet I'm afraid

Am now starting to worry if my postman has left them somewhere silly (he doesn't normally, but you never know).

I feel a bit whiney coming on here saying this, but (takes deep breath) I still haven't had the books through yet. With it being the end of March I wondered whether anything could be done to get a book to me for April?

I just feel like I'm missing out on the book club experience a little and of course, I can't pass anything on if I'm not receiving anything.

I can send Trillianastra a book from my own collection (I've just finished a corker) and I've got plenty of books to read...but the point of joining this was to read books I wouldn't normally choose.

Do you think something could be sorted for April??

Please if it hasn't already been sent, can whoever was sendign to Korma send to Squilly?

Thanks Flamesparrow. I'll happily send something onto Korma if she comes online and wants a book...I know how hard it gets to do fit in post office runs when family life presses in on you.

It may also be that the post is to blame. I knwo they're not that reliable at times.

I've had one book Trillianastra which I passed on a while ago.

I was under the impression that something was due around 18th, but nothing's come through. I may have been a bit premature, but I thought I'd best pipe up before the end of the month.

Am I making any sense? I'm two short if I should have had 3, but I was late participating myself, so I'd thought perhaps I was only due one.

Hopefully something will make it through

I've realised I've loused up! I sent Korma's book on today so trillian should get it tomorrow. This is the one book I've received so far.

I included an extra one. Hopefully you can use it or dispose of it as you need Trillian

The blue one is the official book. The woman with the ponytail is a spare!
