If you were on the first and want to continue, then add your name to the list.

If you are NEW person wanting to join the circle, then please post on the thread and when we work out how many spaces there are we will add in as many as poss to make the number to twelve.

you can see why I got confused tho.....

I did wonder what bandmeetings had to do with planes tho

DrTrillianAstra · 05/03/2009 15:03

Yep, I am gonna be super-mum. One day. Maybe. All because of your brilliant advice.

DrTrillianAstra · 05/03/2009 15:06

At least I'll bypass some of the PFBishness:

DP: oh no, baby is eating its own poo, will it get horribly ill?

Me: no, I've seen hundreds of babies do that on MN and they all survived

BandMeeting · 05/03/2009 15:07

I love that you didn't ask what they had to do with planes

BandMeeting · 05/03/2009 15:07

pmsl - yup, your baby can eat poo like our babies

psychomum5 · 05/03/2009 15:09

well, I kind of figured it was a thing I wouldnt get anyway, cos I am clueless about planes in general (and about lots of other stuff too it seems)

BandMeeting · 05/03/2009 15:11

I only know from radio one last year (hence me choosing the only thing I knew about it for a name), seen one episode and was a bit , but like the name

squilly · 05/03/2009 15:12

Ah....I only asked the question as I was insanely jealous. I can't manage the Sun Times crossword these days

And yes, PHD still something to be very proud of!

DrTrillianAstra · 05/03/2009 15:17

No worries, this is Mumsnet after all, it is kinda normal to assume that I am, therefore, a mum.

squilly · 06/03/2009 13:58

Got my book....woo hoo!!
Thank you!

DrTrillianAstra · 06/03/2009 15:05

Yay! The circle is actually circling!

BandMeeting · 06/03/2009 17:12

yay!! So how many do you have squilly???

FlossieT · 07/03/2009 00:44

Gosh, you people have been busy on here.

I have posted three books: my own, TheMadHouse's and Flame's; and I have a fourth at the moment, which I deduce is Psycho's (I'm too lazy to go upstairs and look inside the front cover...).

sherby · 07/03/2009 13:01

I have finished my March book now, are we all waiting until the end of each month to send on or when we have finished it?

squilly · 08/03/2009 12:25

Hi Bandmeeting. I've just gone one. Half way through it. It's entertaining, but not the kind of thing I'd normally read, exactly what this circle was made to achieve I guess.

I'm looking forward to posting my comments on the appropriate thread, once I've done with this. It may take a few days as I've got a busy week this week, but fingers crossed, it'll be finished by the weekend and I can digest it in full.

DrTrillianAstra · 08/03/2009 14:43

So I'll do it again

Trillian has no books
Psycho has no books
Flame has Squilly's book (and is calling herself BandMeeting)
TheMadHouse (should have Trillian's book soon, it's in the post)
Flossie has Psycho's book
Coco has (presumably Flame's book)
Rosmerta has TheMadHouse's book
Sherby has Flossie's book (and has finished it)
ShootFromTheHip has (presumably Coco's book)
SleepyEyes has Rosmerta's book
Korma has (lots of books???)
Squilly has Korma's book

DrTrillianAstra · 08/03/2009 14:45

Things in brackets are guesses. Things out of brackets are from people saying 'I've got my 3rd book'.

I have too much time on my hands

squilly · 08/03/2009 16:11

Do you need any more reading material DrTrillian? I've got a couple of books hanging around if you're short....like around 60+ on the shelves I can tell you a couple of titles and you can see if you've read em.

DrTrillianAstra · 08/03/2009 16:19

Thankfor the offer - I'm reading your shakespeare book at the moment so am okay for a little bit. I was also recommended 'The Chronicles of Morgaine' on MN before Christmas but couldn't really get into it, so I should probably give that one another go before giving up on it completely (don't like to fail to read books).

DriedOutPlaydough · 10/03/2009 18:51

So it turns out mine wasn't posted the other day (thanks DH)... (Tis Flame)

squilly · 11/03/2009 08:07

Frustratingly, I have one chapter left to read on my book and I can't do it cos I've got to shower and go to school! To do reading with kids! And I can't take my own book!!!

Darn you Korma and your addictively delicious book!

rosmerta · 11/03/2009 08:56

Lol squilly, do you think they'd notice if you snuck it in under the desk?

squilly · 11/03/2009 12:46

LOL Rosmerta. They don't even have desks any more! Not so you'd notice any way.

I remember, back in the day....[whistful old codger emoticon]

Anyway...I'm back now. Off upstairs to read book eat lunch and do some paperwork [sly old codger emoticon)

TrillianAstra · 11/03/2009 21:41

What's with all the namechanging woman? Who are you hiding from? Huh?

DriedOutPlaydough · 12/03/2009 07:49

I get bored easy
