Hiya

The following people want in:

Autumnlady
Dozymare
TheDrsWife
Bubbaz
Yorky
PinkyMinky

Any more for any more???

I think the sensible way to do it is that each person sends their book to the same person every month to avoind confusion ie:

Autumnlady to Dozymare, Dozymare to DrsWife etc etc

We could do this on a certain day every month such as the 30th or something? I am open to offers on how fast people read etc.

I've just finished a book. It was an enjoyable read, not Eco's best I don't think, but worth a read. I'll be sending that on. You could send the book you last read?

You are asking the wrong person here!! Autumnlady is the one who knows what to do, but I think that once I have everyone's addresses and have sent the address of the person you are sending on to, then you send them a book wheich they then read and pass on to the next person on the list?

That way we have 6 books in rotation?

Is that right Autumnlady????

yes, that's right we have 6 books in rotation then we just pass them on once a month to the person next to us on the list. Dozy - do you need my address too???

Got your address!! I think that is a good idea Autumnlady....The book I am going to nominate is

The madness of a seduced woman

It's based on a true story, bit of a slow start but very very good and a real page turner...I loved it and hope you ladies do as well!!!

(You do realise that by the time we have read all 6 books our babies will be here!!!!)

Excellent!

I think that book sounds ace, can't wait 'til that gets round to me

I am suggesting: Young Wive's Tales by Adele Parks. Good piece of 'chick-lit' for summer days. Easy to read and light enetertainment!

Can't beleive that after 6 books babies will arrive - how scary is that??!! Will never have time to read ever again......

So shall we start it off that we send the books out on the 15th of every month? So that way we all know what our deadline is. 15th seems like a good enough date to remember and gets us off to a start quickly.
What do you think?

My book is 'The trouble with marriage' by Debby Holt.
Another chick lit book but I found it very funny.
15th is fine with me too.

Oh blimey, what have I done. I am going to have to get into my loft now, to make sure I have the book that I want to send.
Only trouble is, it is a hardback that I have it in, and having set the deadline, I don't think I can trust amazon to deliver it in paperback, even to whomever I am to post to, on time

How exciting - am waiting for Yorky, Drswife and Daniya to email me their addresses so I can then co-ordinate! I think everyone else has sent me theirs (without checking)

The 15th is a great day to send out - hopefully the other girls will email me their addresses!!!

Sorry, im here now. i will email my details in a sec. I have been clearing out all my junk. I have just finished A thousand Splendid Suns. Bit heavier than chicklit but conscious people may have read it as its quite popular in shops at the mo. still okay to send it? ive got Bubbaz i think. okay for it Bubz?

On an aside i have a massive stack of books that ive just cleared out of the nursery which im happy to send to anyone who wants them as they will go to charity shop. loads of autobiographies trashy ones like jordan, jade, kerry katona, sharon osbourne etc. Other literature like maeve binchy. speak now or forever hold your peace.
