I'm a Kate too.

I found it difficult to choose a book to start with. Didn't want it to be too long, too highbrow, too lowbrow. I could go on and on.
There were some books where I wasn't sure I could cope if someone hated them .
So I choose one that was bought for me and it isn't my usual style/type but I found I couldn't wait to get to bed to read it. (oh and I cried buckets )

I get called Kate by my family but am Katherine to everyone else .

I am also not a Kate (that is not by book choice by the way)

Don't worry about book choices - there should be something in this lot that we like.

My book is packed just waiting for the address to send to, can't wait to receive.

We'll have to have an address soon - I'm away on Sunday until Wednesday!

Could we have a deadline - if they haven't checked in by - say - Friday then we start without them? Or is that mean?

no, don't change. I think the best thing about this circle is that you'll be having a real change every month.

Bar one, I haven't read any of htge books so I'm, really looking forward to it.
