Burpy - are you desperate for your book? It's just that I haven't finished it yet, (about 2/3 the way through) and I'm really enjoying it.

I reckon I will have finished it within the next couple of days. If you want it sooner, let me know.

Still no book from Ellceeell

I think I am done now, no book for 2 months, BurpyErnie hasn't been on MN for a month, I have 2 books out there somewhere plus bought 2 more replacement books as people just stop sending to me. It has been great fun and I wish it wasn't ending this way.

BurpyErnie is supposed to be in charge of the quiche as well!

I'd like to carry on. Why don't we take stock of who is here and wants to carry on?

If no-one wants to do carry on, perhaps we should organise to get the books back to all those who first put them into the quiche?

I'd like to carry on. I will put a call out on a new thread if you want and email BurpyErnie to see whats happening with her. If you like I will get email addresses, do a round up and then take it from there regarding books and maybe getting a couple more members.

I think I send on fairly regularly - although I sent two at once last time as I had read the second one, and now I am at a bit of a loss as to whether I am meant to have had another and already sent it on or not...

What a royal PITA getting this organised...its a shame as it was supposed to be fab.

Right, I would be interested in rejoining the quiche, but maybe we should just start again with a smaller, more committed group.

There is no way we could get original books back to folk, as so many people just disappeared! Can I suggest that everyone just keeps the books they have and we start a new, smaller, group? I'm sure I could lure Heifer back, for one. She was always a good sender IIRC.

We all put a book in, in 6 months time we get that book back and then we start again? That way we know that everyone in teh quiche is committed to sending, because it is terribly disappointing to religiously send and not receive
