I didn't think I could get it wrong...obviously I did

look it absolutely was my fault

here is why:

in first email to you I said 'hello mamaG, I am sending 'the tenderness of wolves by stef penney something'

you said 'great! lovely! thanks!' or similar

then in 2nd email (because had misplaced that book) I said 'I am sending Never Let Me Go by that kazuo Japanese bloke ishigsomething'

you said 'great! thanks!'

so it is actually mostly my fault for changing choice of book and only a very small bit your fault for not emailing hastily to say 'no vacua, you must not send that one'

I've got loads of work to do, but thought I would just poke my nose in to see if anybody is about and I find out that in a short time you have discovered a crisis, debated and solved said crisis - and MamaG has changed her name as well. I will never keep up with MN, not fleet of foot enough.

Sorry, Stacey - didn't mean to hassle you! Hope things sort themselves out for you.

I'm finding it quite hard to read - simply because it isnt my book and I know I've got to post it on! (Nothing to do with the actual book - just my awareness that I must not bend pages, read in the bath, drop it on the floor for dd2 to stand on ....... I've never taken so much care of a book!)

I though that at first, then it suddenly dawned on me that by the time it gets back to its owner it'll have been through 20 other pairs of hands and they won't know who drpooed it in the bath!
