SO sorry I haven't been on here for a few days, my internat connection is a bit off at the moment

I've received my book (to however sent it to Gwent).

Will be reading it this weekend I hope!

Was thinking no need for Vacua to change book is there? I've stopped reading the one I recieved.. Or should I start again?

Leoleo - new book all packaged up and ready to go. Will post tomorrow. Had the job interview today - was disasterous. Not quite as bad as the one in Trainspotting but it did cross my mind half way through "do you actually want this job, because you seem to be talking them out of employing you".

Trying to tell myself I don't really mind - just a bit gutted that I think I have left them with the impression that I am an arse!

Ah well. Least I have a good book to read.

Stacey - hope you are OK. Puts my piddling job problems in perspective.

Since having DS i have found that I tend to tell people while I would be unemployable because I don't want to make promises I can't be bothered to try and live up to.. So I wouldn't worry.
I forgot to take your book with me to work so I'll try to post by Saturday. What are they donating? Put it on our review thread so it doesn't spoil anything but I have to know.
Was it a change of job or a return back to paid employment?

Return back to work after mat leave. New work as was locuming before so want something more regular now. But jobs are hard to come by and a lot of competition at the moment so a tough market. Something will come up hopefully.

And no - I won't tell you what they are donating - you will get the book eventually! Vacua has sent it on!

In fact - if you want you can keep it. Don't worry about sending it back to me. Read it and pass it on randomly! I donate the book to the greater reading population!!

Well I am suprised GP's have interviews.. Anyway can i ask you about my knee!

Depends which one. I only do left knees. And right eyes. I am very specialised.

As for interviews - oh yes - 5 years ago I virtually walked into a job. Now - 60+ applicants for each one. Quite disheartening as I have all the post-grad stuff and (I think) I am quite a good GP (patients and other staff tell me so anyway!) but still can't get a job
