Dear all

I was 12 weeks pregnant, went for the scan and told baby stopped developing at 6 weeks 2.7 mm - I am off for another scan this Friday to make certain theres no further growth, if not then I will need to work out arrangements for miscarriage process. has anyone had the ERPC? am I able to request this at the hospital on the day? I would opt for tablets and suffer at home but im scared of what I might see... some people said its like a heavy period, others said they saw a sac and fetus and that would really hurt me to see.. plus if not all the pregnancy comes out, id have to go back to hospital to have the remains taken

if anyone has any advise on this that would be great
thank you

Morning

Funny you say that yes, I actually have cramping pains now they come and go and yesterday I actually had to put on a towel in the afternoon as I have red/brown discharge to much to a panty linner.

Think I'm going to wear one today just be on the safe side. I really feel like I have no idea what's going on.

@Funnybunnyfluff I know I feel same,
I'm questioning every symptom, wondering what's happening.

How many days are you past peak now? Yours could be implanting mines too early I ovulated Friday/Saturday I think that was 24/36 hours after my peak face xx

@OctoberGirl91

My Peak ovulation day was the 19th, I never had any bleeding with my last so I don't really know what to expect.

Everyday I have been questioning my body. I feel that Every little pain, twinge I worry.

I know they said to me if it's brown and smelly (tmi) that it could be an infection but I don't think its and infection.

I just want to ask my body what's going on down there lol.

Have you had any bleeding or discharge? Xx

@OctoberGirl91

Do you drink alcohol? I'm not a big drinker but I like a glass at the weekend and when our for meals etc?

I think if I get pregnant again quickly my close family will think it's to soon. It's coming towards Xmas party season. As soo. As I stop drinking people will notice. I was thinking of stop drinking on social occasions and have the odd glass at home if nothing happens.

Like you said previously I don't think I want to tell anyone. I was so close to telling people at 12weeks just before me scan and I'm sooooo glad I didn't.

What is your opinion? XX

I'm not a massive drinker tbh, I drink maybe at Christmas and sometimes at home. But I haven't drink since August when I was pregnant so I've stopped all together I'm becoming obsessive I don't want to take medication or anything.

When I conceived in August I was going through a bit of a problem with my mental health and started taking a lots of medication for sleeping and anxiety and I stopped as soon as I found out I was expecting so I'm not even wanting to take paracetamol at moment.

I haven't had any bleeding or discharge but the usually ovulation discharge but a lot of lower back ache today when cleaning and doing things. You'll be able to do a test end of the week won't you then?

Do whatever you feel is right, me and hubby agreed just to keep to us I only told my best friend and both of parents and siblings but it was a lot of people to keep updated when worst was confirmed and I had my surgery.

I feel like I've been so naive I've had two health pregnancies I mean they both had separate issues but both had healthy babies at end of them and I never even worried about miscarriage I was even started to buy things how stupid was I xxx

@OctoberGirl91

I must admit I also felt naive. I have 2 close friends that for 3 years have struggled to get pregnant both were unexplained. So with all their heart ache and both on round 3 of IVF truthfully I didn't think I could even get pregnant let alone the first month we had unprotected sex which wasn't us even trying as I didn't not do the ovulation sticks.

So I thought it was a miracle, I didn't know anything about a miscarriage until it happened to me. I feel more prepared now and also going through both medical and surgery I know what works and what doesn't for me.

I did tell another friend once I had miscarried and found out from her she has 2 girls no problem then 2 x miscarriages and then a son. So she's helped me a lot she's also had the op and all things I never knew, but again is not things people openly want to talk about. She also didn't expect it having to healthy baby's.

Yes, I guess I can test at the end of the week but again today truthfully I hope my AF starts and I can get back to normal trying as I feel so in limbo...

I don't think I will have the same reaction if I'm pregnant again. More fear..

Absolutely I will have a lot of anxiety and fear the first scan will take forever to come I can imagine.

I'm ready to be pregnant as I feel empty, I'm not going any younger just turned 27, and my oldest is 6 don't want the gap to get any bigger would love to be pregnant for new year, but also know I need to take pressure off at my Hubby he didn't like pressure of me discussing my ovulation sticks and peak days he found it more of a chore, so if we aren't successful this month I will not keep him updated on my peak days.

If I do get a positive test I will let you know though, just because we've been through same I find this chat helpful, it's nice to be able chat freely xxx

@OctoberGirl91

You are younger than I am, I'm 31 and now ready for children and in a great financial situation which is what we wanted.

I can understand about having a 6 year old and not wanting the age gap to be to great.

I can understand about the ovulation and being a bit organised. If you keep track for a couple of months (if it doesn't happen straight away) then you will probably find out you ovulate within the same week each month. That way you can DTD without it being organised. Which in your mind you will know but your hubby won't

I will let you know my outcome also 😀 xx

I have started to bleed heavier so think it's period time which would be roughly right for me but it's not heavy so will see what the next couple of days bring but don't think it's my month. But like you we only DTD on the odd occasion.

Still very confused as to what my body is doing.

I've got pulling/pinching sensations tonight and pain in side of my boobs, I'm only 4 days past ovulation so hoping they are good signs.

You going try conceive again after AF or take some off ?x

AF has arrived for sure now and I'm actually pleased. So it was starting yesterday day 25 Nice to feel like my body back to normal. Also I'm normally a 24ish day cycle so that's good.

Sorry to jump into the thread, but after some advice please.

Had surgery on Friday after a MMC. Had some sharp pains on my left side a couple of days ago (put it down to surgery), but very minimal bleeding.

Took an ovulation test today, just to start tracking again, and it was high. Is it possible that I've ovulated already, or is it just my hormones still being up in the air? I'm so confused

Hey @PolkaHeart

Sorry to hear about your loss, hope you are recovering well.💕

I don't know what to suggest I had minimal bleeding a lot of cramps for first few days and bleeding finished by a week later.

From what I remember I don't think you can ovulate till you've had a negative pregnancy test and took about 10-14 days for me to get mine.

@PolkaHeart

Hello, sorry to hear what you are going through.

I bleed for about 2 weeks and then spotting on and off up to my AF starting.

Same advice as @OctoberGirl91 wait 10-14 days until after your op then do a pregnancy test and check that you have a negative then start tracking from there onwards.

I think 5 days after op is to soon and your hormones will still be all over the place.

Thank you @OctoberGirl91 and @Funnybunnyfluff

I'm ok, just taking each day as it comes. One minute I feel completely fine and the next a big mess.

Sorry for both your losses. Fingers crossed we all get the news we want soon xx

@PolkaHeart just ride the waves, I'm still emotional till this day and it's 4 weeks tomorrow since my operation but doesn't heal the pain.

I'm currently 5 Days past my ovulation after Mc and I'm hoping for another BFP but nervous to relive this nightmare again as I haven't wait for my first period.

Sending positive healing and baby dust for when the time is right xx

@Funnybunnyfluff Hi 👋🏻
Are your periods usually this long? Mine usually last 3 days!
I am currently 8 days past ovulation for a few symptoms but still getting a negative test at moment but didn't get my last positive till 13DPO.

In my possible implantation period so got everything crossed! I'm on a conception thread which is really lovely too!

Getting nervous and anxious I'm testing again on Tuesday/Wednesday period due next Friday xx

Report
Funnybunnyfluff · 03/11/2018 18:12

@OctoberGirl91

No period is normally 5 days max. So not long. But has worked out that it started 25 days after the op so that's within my 23-26 normal cycle.

We have a few days away the week after next so hoping that will be good time to properly try baby making 😀.

Keep me posted how you get on xxx

Aww that will be nice and least your cycles have remained same I'm not sure on mine I had my coil out in July and got pregnant August so just getting into logging them!

Let's hope it's on it's way out now, I'll keep you updated.

Fingers crossed for you xx

Can I ask you guys how you knew when to start testing for ovulation? It’s been 10 days since my ERPC and I’ve starting feeling twinges but I tested today and it was just the circle. I fell pregnant on my second cycle after coming off contraception so I have no idea how long my “normal” cycles are! So confused and don’t want to miss it 😩 thanks for any advice!

I started testing after I got my negative pregnancy test. I had two days of empty circles, 5 days of flashing face then my peak. It will pick up first when you have an Estrogen surge then the LH surge.

Good luck @Eantonette cx
