Went for my 12 week today and baby had stopped growing at 8+4. They are giving me a week to see if things move on their own. Don't know how to feel but so feel guilty

Pamplem00se · 16/10/2018 20:32

Hello lovely.
Had an awful job interview yesterday (boo! had decided I didn't want it anyway so saved me some awkwardness) but something interesting in the pipeline.
Bloody miserable at the lack of being preg. At least no ridiculously early spotting this month (6dpo last month!!!) think I'm about 8dpo but to be honest have lost track a bit because work has been so stressful.
How are you doing?
xx

Cleozeta · 16/10/2018 20:55

Nothing to report unfortunately!

Michelle0507 · 17/10/2018 20:10

@pamplem00se oh no sorry it didn't go well, I hate interviews. I'm well annoyed with work I currently travel to the bottom of our county and now I have to go to the top too. It's an hour each way they know I need the least stress and I am doing the most.

My period finished about 10 days ago so can try again now. Was at the GP yesterday and was told AGAIN 2 is normal it's common, please just shut up!!!!

@Cleozeta nice to hear from you

X

ChattyL · 18/10/2018 09:00

Hi ladies,
Just checking in to see how we All are, I’m happy to see your still going well @pineappleprincess.
I’ve had my period twice now nice my MMC really bad pains again about a week after ovulation like I had in may when I got pregnant, don’t know if it’s a good or bad thing the pains but my period came anyway so not pregnant, still praying tho that I can get pregnant again at 39yo it worries me terribly.

Cleozeta · 18/10/2018 10:02

Chatty - weirdly I have been getting pains, like ovulation pains halfway through my lp every cycle since my mmc too. No idea why, but sadly not pregnancy. I am 41 so time is rappidly running out

ChattyL · 18/10/2018 11:27

@cleozeta after watching ‘This Morning’ were not too old yet, the fertility segment is still to come on today if you can watch it get the tv onto ITV worth a watch for all us ladies trying for a baby xx
The pains I don’t know why if happens again next month I’ll make appt with doctor and ask her. xx

PolkaHeart · 18/10/2018 14:13

Hi ladies,

Found out yesterday that I've had a MMC. Should have been 11wks, but measured at 7wks. I'm deverstated- feel like I've let DH down and thinking about what I could have done differently.
Lots of dark brown blood, but nothing fresh let.
DS 4th Birthday on Sunday, so trying to put on a brave face!

Everything is a bit shit at the moment.

PineapplePrincess · 18/10/2018 23:00

Welcome @PolkaHeart to our group, although I’m so sorry you find yourself here. Please know you did nothing wrong, and haven’t let anyone down. What you’re feeling is completely normal, but there is no blame to apportion in miscarriage - it just one of those sucky sucky things in life that has no rhyme or reason.

Please read up on the various threads to help you cope over the next few days (assuming you are taking the natural route?) and feel free to ask any questions.

My first MC was over the course of my DS 4th birthday; I actually discharged myself from hospital to attend his birthday party (in hindsight complete madness!) Putting on a brave face is all well and good, but you do need to take care of yourself.

waves to everyone

@Pamplem00se, sorry to hear about the interview - altho’ I often find the ones that seem to go badly (or I don’t want) are the ones I get offered! Whatever is in the pipeline though, sound exciting...?

@Cleozeta and @ChattyL - never too old!?!

@Michelle0507 - hope you are feeling a bit better and are being kind to yourself. xox

PineapplePrincess · 18/10/2018 23:28

@Ladybug84 - glad to hear the ERPC went well. Didn’t realise they did it by local anaesthetic too - I think I’d much prefer to be out cold.

I’m currently sporting a bump, but managing to hid it well as just blubber. Baggy clothes and scarves, and people are none the wiser. Haven’t really told many people, I don’t think others are catching on just yet. DH and I are starting to talk as if it might happen, but still quite scary to talk about it out loud. xxx

PolkaHeart · 19/10/2018 07:26

Thanks @PineapplePrincesss

Natural until I'm back at the hospital on Wednesday. If nothing by then, they're booking me in for surgery on Friday.

The midwife didn't explain much, but this thread has really helped.

Michelle0507 · 19/10/2018 11:18

@PolkaHeart I'd have been lost without these guys. My local Hospital Chesterfield are utter utter shite!

Take it easy!

@PineapplePrincess eeeek, I'm so excited for you. Keeping everything crossed for you x

Lilimum4 · 29/10/2018 17:33

@Laney79 hello lovely I feel the same as you do. I found out today that my baby passed at 9 weeks. I'm very scared. This is also my third mmc this year. I'm starting to lose hope of ever having a happy ending

Cleozeta · 30/10/2018 11:11

An update from me. Just had a chemical pregnancy. Gutted but glad it appears I can actually conceive and the first time was not a fluke. Accupuncture & herbs helped. Fingers crossed next time it will stick.
Hope everyone is doing ok

Laney79 · 30/10/2018 12:46

@Lilimum4 it's just so hard. Will you be tested now? I've pushed (with my age I'm running out of time-I'm 39) and they are doing some of the blood tests due to my concerns. Huge hugs xxxx

Ladybug84 · 31/10/2018 12:24

Hi everyone,

Time goes by fast but it's frustrating when nothing seems to happen...

When will this end? 😞 I want to start trying again but AF has not come yet and it's been nearly 6 weeks since the d&c

Kisses and hugs to you all x

ChattyL · 07/11/2018 07:47

@LadyBug84 mine too 7.5 weeks to come back and when it did it was only for 2 days and my next period just 2 days mine were always short 3 days. Hope all goes well for next time to all the ladies on here I’m still praying i can get pregnant again, counting down the days to test it awful 😢

ChattyL · 07/11/2018 07:48

@pineappleprincess so glad to hear your keeping well and a wee bump is appearing, so happy to hear a good story xx

unicornxo · 08/11/2018 17:51

Hi everyone could I join please? I have had two MMC since June. One found at 7 weeks baby stopped at 6 and another at 12 weeks baby stopped at 9 weeks. The second we found out at the start of October and I am still struggling and just so scared about it happening again but I also so desperately want to be pregnant again. Sorry about all your losses and congratulations to those who are pregnant again x

Michelle0507 · 08/11/2018 19:27

@unicorns so sorry you find yourself here. It is so difficult to get over and I think we've all felt those fears. Be kind to yourself x

Michelle0507 · 08/11/2018 19:28

@unicornxo

PineapplePrincess · 10/11/2018 21:54

So sorry to hear about your losses @Unicornxo, hope you are finding the time and space to recover. Flowers

Pamplem00se · 12/11/2018 20:35

@Cleozeta how are you feeling now? I'm afraid I've only just heard abiut yiur sad message. I'll try not to utter the usual platitudes about 'at least you can get pregnant'.
ANd you @Michelle0507 ? I take some comfort from checking in with you all.
@PineapplePrincess I hope things are still progressing smoothly for you.
My news is that GP has sent me for blood tests as had two periods within a fortnight and clearly hormonally all over the place. Just stopped bleeding for the second time.... GP thinks it's stress related (totally unsurprising) but still wants to do some investigations....

Michelle0507 · 13/11/2018 16:12

Hi @Pamplem00se,

I'm good thank you lovely.

Glad to hear your GP is doing something. It must be a rubbish time for you.

Ladybug84 · 16/11/2018 13:24

Coming to the EPU for a scan after a miscarriage sucks. 8 weeks after D&C and still no AF. Hopefully the cyst is gone, let's see what they tell me in 10min.

Hope everyone is having a good day. Make the most of the weekend xx

Rose68 · 16/11/2018 22:43

Could I join please? My mmc has been confirmed today at a private scan at 7+3, I had an nhs scan last week at 6+3 where it looked likely that it wouldn’t be a viable pregnancy, but I was still hoping. And I’m still feeling pregnant too which I can’t get my head round (nausea, sore boobs etc). I phoned the epu after the scan and got an appointment for Monday but I have no idea what will happen on Monday. Do I hope it happens naturally before Monday? Just feeling totally devastated at the moment, and I know it’s unlikely we will get another chance as I’m 43.
Cleo - sorry to see you are also on here 😞
