Thanks for asking brummie, he's ok, still got the remnants of his cough which has been making him (and me) quite unsettled. I've postponed his first set of jabs so he can fully recover.

Baby John arrived at 12.54 by elcs, he weighted 7lb exactly, both doing fine

Hugs just it's hard to have them in SCBU when you anticipated being snuggled up together. He is a very good size for a preemie, and you had the steroids to help his lungs mature, I'm sure you'll get your cuddles soon. Faith did 24 hrs in SCBU then several days in transitional care because she was small/early, he's actually an oz heavier than she was! Be prepared for issues with maintaining his blood sugar and jaundice, it just felt like one thing after another with her, but it's a shock to their systems arriving early. You did well to keep him cooking as long as you did.
How are you physically? I take it the anticipated problems with placenta didn't materialise? Nevertheless, you probably feel like you've been run over by a truck. Rest, try to sleep

Ps. brummie and loopy - fellow oct 76 - er here. x

Just had my phone consult with prof brosens. I ran over my allotted 15 mins (sorry jady / cheesy !) He was lovely again, although i think a little bemused by my 14 questions, each with multiple parts. So I'm on the Coventry protocol and going to take my first progesterone tonight. Back to the bum bullets! Feeling more positive about it all now and really hoping this will be the turning point.
