congratulations just, and well done :)

Marchgirl · 12/05/2015 12:45

Congratulations just. Lovely news although a bit of a surprise he's here before purple's new arrival! Enjoy all the new born snuggles. You deserve them after all you've been through x

cloudjumper · 12/05/2015 12:49

Oh my word, just! Congratulations, that is amazing! Hope all is well with you and baby just Flowers ANd a really good weight, too!
What an ordeal, though, you must be shattered - look after yourself! One journey ends, and another one starts...

girlie Good luck for today, I am having my fingers crossed.

Same to you purple!

freckle I had some bleeding in my last pg, which might (or might not) have been due to the progesterone. My GP confirmed that it can be really irritating, I would recommend either alternating back and front, or switch to back entirely.

Urgh, my work are so rubbish at the moment. I am working flat out, evenings and weekends, just to be able to stay on top of things, and they still keep piling more work on top! One of our team has just resigned, and rumour has it that it was due to workload and stress - I'm not surprised. We need more people, not more projects. Grrrr!
But at least it provides distraction from the scanxiety. Currently trying to figure out if we should take DS or try and find a babysitter... Scan is at 9am, not sure how many would be up for babysitting at that time on a Sunday morning...

Brummiegirl15 · 12/05/2015 12:56

Blimey!!!!! Yay Just that is amazing!!
Welcome to the world MiniJust - pregnant friend through IVF had her little one at Stoke Mandeville and he was 5 wks early and was in neonatal. She spoke very highly if them so he's defo in good hands.

Purple can't wait for your news.

Another 2 to add to Faith, Alice and Bertie on the thread baby list

Really does make me feel inspired and that it can be done

Jady77 · 12/05/2015 13:00

Oh wow Just! That's amazing, congratulations and welcome to world miniJustStar

TinyTear · 12/05/2015 13:00

Congrats MiniJust!

mrsdiddlydoo · 12/05/2015 13:03

just Grin Flowers Star I was only thinking yesterday how exciting it was to think we've a number of thread babies on their way. Just didn't think minijust would be arriving quite so quickly. Congratulations to you and Mr just. Super weight for an early baby. xx

freckle I must admit I've started alternating back and front. Not from spotting but my bum felt like it could do with a break and it has been working fine.

bythesea felt sick all night and had a rubbish night's sleep but today is faring ok which then sends me into a tumbling spiral of panicking that something is wrong. Just can't win.

Hope everyone with impending scans are surviving ok x and good luck with the phone consultations tonight!

bakingtins · 12/05/2015 13:23

Wow, didn't expect that news so quickly! congratulations just ! hope you are feeling ok, it's a big adjustment to suddenly have your baby arrive when you weren't quite ready and quite scary if they have to go to SCBU. They'll take brilliant care of him. Big hugs to you, well done!

Erica21 · 12/05/2015 13:38

Bloody hell just I was just catching up on the thread, that's fantastic news well done Smile

Good luck today purple

Good luck tomorow girlie and bubbly I have finally called the EPU to book an early scan and they're having me in next Tues when I hopefully am 7+1, scared as hell Hmm x

bootles · 12/05/2015 13:55

In an effort to post stats at the start of the thread, am doing so without fully catching up - sorry to those I missed.

Me 41, Dp 47 - yep, old.
DS born 2011, Just turned 4

--MC 1 2012, died 7.5 wks
--TFMR 2013 - bad 12 wk scan with high chance of death in utero. Chromosomes normal
--MC 3 2014, 10wks, T22 (no embryo)
--MC 4 2014, 9wks, hb seen but slow from start
--MC 5 2014, died at 9 wks after good scan few days earlier

RMC found nothing abnormal

Coventry found me to have high uNK cells at 6.1, so for last loss was on prog, hep, pred. Chromosome analysis didn't work on embryo.

Now been ttc for over 3 years. Very grateful for ds, whom is adored, and recognise that others on here are still waiting for a child.

If not pg this month (testing in a few days) its back to cov for another scratch.

longest woohoo for mat leave!

cheesy, march, jady I felt the same when diagnosed with high uNK cells. It is worth noting that its still not a definitive reason for mc's, though I think fair to say a factor. The treatment is not always effective, but I believe can give you a decent chance. Also they do go up and down, so no-one can be sure if they caused previous losses. Usually its about 1 in 10 who pass through the clinic who have high levels - so we really have alot of us on here. Hope you all get all your questions answered in your phone consults.

sebs, I totally understand. Hope to see you back with a bfp. Take care x

hugs to those in the painful wait for scans, and hello to new posters.

Will catch up with last 2 pages in a bit...

bootles · 12/05/2015 13:58

In mad rush for work now but couldn't go without saying CONGRATULATIONS just! What a rocky road to get where you are, but he's here! Tears in eyes here am so thrilled for you lady xx

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 12/05/2015 14:38

Congratulations just on the safe arrival of your son. You did it! Hope you have a good recovery, have had EMCS and ELCS myself, and you will need to take things easy for a bit. Like others have said, that's a really good weight, he will be fine. A friend had a premmie who weighed 2lb 4, and he is perfect and starting school in September.

Hope scans go ok for girlie, bubbly and cloud.

Hope those with the higher unk diagnoses have a good future ahead now they will be on the right medication. Really feel the NHS should do more to help. But it's always been the same, always a lottery postcode, no matter which party are running the government, just not enough money to pay for everything.

Good luck to purple when your time comes.

Good luck to those in the 2ww.

Slight afterthought Brummie. You mentioned you lack cervical mucus? Sperm need fertile mucus in order to swim to the right place and to stay alive to be able to wait for the egg. Have you mentioned this at all to Mr Watts? Just wondering if there is anything you can take to increase cm production? Ps I'm also 39 in October, starting to feel like you are my double!

I have been temping for part of this cycle, in a hope to pinpoint ovulation but no pattern as yet. Cm seems to be less today, has anyone ever had what looks like fertile mucus, then it dried up somewhat, and then had it return again and ovulate then? As from my temps I wouldn't think I have done yet.

Catlover2014 · 12/05/2015 14:43

Massive congratulations Just, great weight for an early baby! Hope you can get some rest and get to know your little man very soon. So so thrilled for you and am looking forward to hearing more about him.

Hope to hear about purple soon too xxxxx

tannyLoo · 12/05/2015 14:45

I'm also welling up at the news, just! So so so pleased for you! Welcome to the world minijust xxx

Justonemoretime · 12/05/2015 14:48

Thanks ladies. he needs a little help with his o2 levels so tubes etc. but I don't think its unusual for a prem. he's obviously staying in but receiving good care. Dh has visited him, and I hope to go later.

tannyLoo · 12/05/2015 15:29

Glad they're taking good care of you both, and I hope you get that first cuddle in soon.

Funnily, my labour with DS2 started with a big bleed and passing a sizable clot...

CheesyMash · 12/05/2015 16:03

Wow, Congratulations Just! And what a great size too. Have tears in my eyes too. Hope you get snuggles with him soon. GrinGrinGrin

Hope to hear from Purple soon too! Wow, two babies in one day!!

loopy I had ewcm when I was due to ov a couple of weeks ago, then it calmed down and came back again and I ov'd about a week later than expected.

Have weird ovulation type cramps now though...Confused feeling a bit achey all over though so maybe I'm coming down with something.

ThePopAndCry · 12/05/2015 17:08

just Huuuuuuuuge congrats! Grin x

tannyLoo · 12/05/2015 17:16

Purple, any news?

Justonemoretime · 12/05/2015 17:30

MiniJust is just having a procedure to help his lungs develop. It means brief sedation and then ventilation, but we're told it's routine to help him breathe on his own. A bit scary Sad hopefully it will work and I can have my cuddles soon.

Brummiegirl15 · 12/05/2015 17:35

Cheesy I was definitely a bit crampy Saturday - hoping for ovulation.

Aahhh Loopy a fellow October 1976'er!!! I am still banking on adjoining cubicles at Worcester for miniloopy#3 and babybrummie

Purple anxiously awaiting your news!

Tanny how is Bertie?

So a thread baby today followed by another, then Faith turning 1 next week. It's giving me hope!!!!!

CheesyMash · 12/05/2015 17:36

Hope his procedure goes well just x

tannyLoo · 12/05/2015 17:37

Just big hugs. It is hard to go through this when all you want to do is comfort and protect him. You will get there soon xxx
